Number one, jet fans disappointing found the 30 to 19 loss to the forty-niners last night. The offense work in progress. But you certainly saw flashes of what this offense can be with Rodgers at quarterback, the defense most disappointing. They're pushed around, bullied by the forty-niners up front allowed Jordan Mason company run for 180 yards on the ground. The Jets had a chance last night to make a statement against one of the best teams in the league. They didn't. And they did not appear to be in the same class as San Francisco. However, last I checked its September 10th. The Jets have 16 more games in the regular season. Let's not overreact. Ag Ruth Rogers stuff to improve on. And there's also stuff to build upon as well. Do they need to fix their run defense? Absolutely. By think the offensive line show dramatic improvement from a year ago is they're still concerned about the coaching staff and head coach Robert Solow. All that will always be until the Jets actually start winning the expected better last night for the Jets. But you also got a lesson for more of the best teams in the league of where the Jets need to get to. That's where they were not able to match San Francisco last night, even without Christian McCaffrey. But that does not and should not change your expectations for the Jets
