an emotional day especially for those who had a personal connection to Jeff Gman this includes employees at the Clark County public administrator's office they turned to Gman to shed light on wrongdoings under Robert ts's leadership in that office Jeff Gman listened to them he did several articles he did research he did his investigative reporting they've been here every day wearing red wearing pins with Jeff gan's photos on them again this is emotional for them here's what a couple of them had to say definitely relieved and grateful and um pretty much exhausted right now and it's still very emotional and so we just have to kind of work through that I just had to believe that the system was going to work um and that if we just had faith and we showed up and we persevered um that that we would get what was right for Jeff um and I think we have a little taste of that today um that the jurors and um saw what we saw which was this was not a good guy this was a dangerous man running our office guilty a first-degree murder with use of a deadly weapon so you can see there is relief about that guilty verdict for first-degree murder but there is also some concern about the sentence of life with the possibility of parole after 20 years we know him to be someone who dwells on Revenge we know him to be someone who will commit so seriously to his lies that we think sometimes he actually believes in himself they say they plan on attending parole hearings to help prevent Tellis from being released reporting in downtown Las Vegas Vanessa Murphy 8 News Now
