Fatman Scoop Interview,Hip Hop Community Paid Tributes After His Death

what do you say um rest in peace fat man scoop you know I'm hoping that um I can get everybody to just talk about how great of a person he was um scoop he was just so funny you know he always made you laugh um he was somebody that really knew his value somebody who had figured out the business somebody who knew his place I remember the day him and I had a conversation about um what he was going to do next and he was like man I figured it out um what's missing in the game is you know that that party starter record I'm going to I'm going to do party starter records and that's what really made him who he became you know um he realized that there were DJs clear across the world that you know need did that something to break the ice to get people on the dance floor and so you know he started those rankers if you got $100 put your hands up you know Single Ladies If you hear me Single Ladies make noise and I remember when he dubbed the first one and he sent it out and it became such a craze and I was like yo dog you got it and um yeah you know um we're losing so many of our great people so please everybody reach reach out make sure you're holler at folks make sure you're knowing that they're okay make sure that they're getting checkups this sudden death thing is real serious y'all and a lot of it is behind blood clots so please get your body checked make sure that you know you're not clotting anywhere make sure that your blood is Flowing correctly um because um yeah we're losing too many of our good people and I don't want to get political or anything like that or sound like a conspiracy theorists and all these other titles that they have for people that speak truth um and that's the one thing that I will always love scoop for he always spoke his mind and he always spoke the truth what he knew to be true and I love you for that and I will always love you for that and we just got another Soldier looking out for us in another dimension and he got called home and uh he's better off than us and I keep telling myself that but yeah going to miss that one going to miss you gone but never forgotten so everybody do me a favor tell us your stories of scoop because I know there's quite a few of them like I saw somebody Daniel he post scoop coming down a stair staircase in um a towel I mean that was just some of the silly things that he would do just love that brother forever forever ever forever ever you taught me a lot scoop and for that I will always value you and the memory of you all right y'all keep striving they want us to continue to do good and be good so look for that quality life all right peace I've done many many clubs and I I I just I want to come again and again and again so where did Fatman Scoop come from the name well it it actually came from my uncle jack one of my favorite uncles and he used to take me out all the time to eat like he was the uncle that fed me and um would take me to get ice cream all the time I ate so much ice cream you probably go into a diabetic coma and then he just started calling me scoop and then my mother called me scoop and then after that everybody called me scoop so do you still get a buzz of Performing or do you prefer doing like the TV shows I look I like anything where the light is shining or the teleprompter light is flashing anything like that where it's time for Action that's what I love I mean that's why I think that I've been able to be in this business for so long because I actually love to do what I do now so uh what should we look out for what's coming up next year um you know a bunch of different things I'm getting ready to do another TV show but this is going to be of the late night variety so I'm going to do that I got a record with Skrillex that that you guys can see now it's still morning commemorating and also pcome you welcome fine look because losing such a man hyping singing entertaining so many people we can't leave him you know not being remembered and being uh I mean we cannot leave without paying tribute to him so the hipop community is paying tributes to the New York rapper that is Fatman Scoop who died at the age of 53 musicians um entertainers and so many people within the entertainment industry most especially those who love hipop have come out you know to pay their own respects the likes of Miss Elliot Quest love Luda Sierra and so many others are coming out to Moon the loss of the Grammy winning hype man whose real name by the way is Isaac Freeman II for those who didn't know after he collapsed during a concert in Connect cart that was on Friday night on August 30th the rappers family came out like I give you a video you know detailing uh the announcement and of course their tribute to uh his passing on so they came out and announced his passing following the morning on social media and of course the cause of death was not provided Elliot uh who actually collaborated with Freeman on her 205 hit song Lose Control came out on her AES forly on Twitter to honor him she said prayers for fman scoop's family for strength during this difficult time she continued Miss Eliot and said that Fatman scope's voice the energy have contributed to so many songs that made people uh feel happy and want to dance forever forever and over in decades you impact your impact is huge and will never be forgotten lose control which also featured Sierra picked at number three for those who didn't know on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and of course the songs video and a Grammy Award in 2006 for best short for music video and the track received a Grammy node that year for best rap song therefore we are seeing Sierra who collaborated with Fatman scho you know also coming out to pay her own respects Sierra HED the L musician on social media coming out via her official Instagram of course posting a video you know of the two singing in a video and of course also accompanied with a very emotional touching and uh uh and beeding tribute she said rest easy at Fatman scope you are truly one of the best voices in hipop I'm so glad I got to experience your greatness we'll all miss you greatly the singer wrote alongside a video of frean and of course um so many people commented on that post Quest love also came out and shared a lengthy tribute on Instagram rating I want to thank fman scoop for being an embodiment of what hip hop was truly about to just for forget about your troubles and leave in the moment and en and allow joy in and so many other people the likes of L CHR also came out and paid tributes DJ D nice also remembered free man and by the time we reached actually Friday so many people within the entertainment industry were still coming out to pay their own respects in this morning time I'm praying for the family I'm praying for the soul of the disease and all I can say is rest in power the king that is fat
