Bel Air: Season 3 recap and what we need to see in Season 4

fellow TV Lovers season 3 of Bel Air is in the books and wow that Cliffhanger was something that finale for season 3 we haven't gotten season 4 yet so there are no guarantees that we'll see a resolution to those Cliffhangers they threw at us but anyways I wanted to do a full recap the release schedule for Bel Air in season 3 was just so weird uh I didn't get to write or do as many videos as I wanted to do about the show and um I just thought I'd do a full recap right here now the finale is over there's a lot going on in Bel Air there always is and each family member has their own story line and so I thought I'd break down the recap of season 3 of Bel Air by family member and we we'll just go right down the line we're going to start with my MVP for this season that would be Vivian um a Viv Cassandra Freeman just she just did just a terrific job this year and they gave her a lot of different things to do um she's always been the great mother she's always been the artist over the first couple of Seasons but they gave her and Phil some marital problems this uh this season and it was interesting they threw that caterer in there and gave us some tension there there was the girls night out the the Phil uh kiss with her with his law partner uh and she just had so much to deal with it on top of the normal drama with Carlton and and her nephew will I loved that chew out scene I think it was the second to last episode of the Season where she just walks in and she just chews out well um after he goes uh after he gets in trouble for uh for going to that invasion of the uh development scene I just thought she just did a terrific job great work for her and now she got the pregnancy test so we're going to see get her do her get to see her do some more stuff next season if we get season 4 let's talk about Carlton Carlton is the emotional backbone of the show he has been for uh for all three seasons including this year as he fought against relapse uh it just he's both so intelligent but at the same time so weak at times that it's almost like you're watching a a Chronicle of him especially during the first season the first couple episodes it was like you're watching a Chronicle of his uh struggles um he's coming out of rehab he doesn't have the doors to his room uh Amira his new girlfriend that whole story line was completely wild but it was her struggles tested him and we thought he was going to blow up again that scene in the car was well done um but he rose the occasion he saved the presentation with Will and blacks and Carlton actually ended up something of a winner this season and and I was happy to see it more Evolution for his character and and you can't go wrong with that Uncle Phil Phil is my boy and um and Adrian hommes is such a great so good in the role he keeps the the emotional residence of the of the role because we all loved um Uncle Phil and the sitcom and you know and I think he does a good job honoring that while at the same time making the character his own and um I liked how he just you know he continued taking care of business he was still the the big shot attorney he was fighting marital problems um at home with VI but he still continues to do such a great job um of course we got to go with will uh I think the thing about belir that separates it from The Fresh Prince of belir was that will is kind of you know he's kind of the point guard here he's setting the ball for the other cast while Will Smith was such was definitely the the main attraction of the the the first sitcom the the Will Smith character hero is sort of just lifting up the other members of the cast and I I I think uh it's just so well done here it wasn't all the other members of the cast though um he did have his own story lines the pivot from basketball of business were really well done the conversations with his parents were really were really uh were really cool and I really enjoyed all of that as well and of course the kidnapping how are they going to wrap that up um I mean it's going to be interesting to see how they do it I hope it's done very well and very quickly um because after all it's Bel Air it's not taken but it is exciting and I'm glad they did it and it left me wanting more and This Will Smith is is doing just just a terrific job Ashley I I know she just if you probably collect the screen time she probably gets the least of uh of the screen time but let me tell you Ashley gave me my most memorable moment of the season um that scene with Phil where she stands up to him I don't dress for your comfort oh my goodness uh I think I was I was watching in a quiet room and the line is just so out of left field and hits you so hard Phil looks back to make sure she's not talking to anybody else and it was just such a fun scene and at the same time uh a level up for the Ashley character I hope we see more of that next season um cuz she's just a lot of fun whenever she's on screen finally we have Hillary and Jazz uh they chose the finale for Hillary and Jazz to do they chose to do it at their wedding and uh I loved the scenery I loved that the fact that they they kind of took it of belir for uh for a finale for that wedding I thought it was really well done um he know that Hillary and Jazz are endgame uh and like I said with Lam Marcus's death which we knew what was coming we knew it was coming but it was still very point you know very powerful um I hope they take their time with jazz and Hillary and and you know um the two characters still managed to be likable even though they were going through all these these challenges and personal struggles but um yeah I mean season 3 of Bel was good um where does it rank from the other Seasons two is probably still my favorite um I I I like the school environment uh the summertime fit was worked it worked here and and I'm glad they did it uh but we'll see what they do next year uh I I did two posts on Frank ts.org of things I want to see for next year I've already mentioned a couple of them I want to see a fast but powerful resolution for the will kidnapping story line I want to see um I want to see some time I want to see less time I want to see them take them time their time with the Lamarcus death and don't rush straight to Hillary and Jazz and I want to have some fun with the pregnancy storyline I think that is a I think that is a prime opportunity to give us that break between the drama Bel Air is a very very heavy meal at times we have drug abuse we have you know um important social issues we saw Community Development if you know my story you know Community Development is very true to me or very very important issue to me and um and overall I thought it was a strong strong season but you need to make some noise um we don't have a season 4 renewal um Belair got an early renewal last year it didn't get it this year maybe because the release schedule was so much quicker I believe we had a week we got we had three three episodes for two weeks and two episodes for the final weeks so it hasn't been quite as long but I mean if they leave it behind after this Cliffhanger it would be one of the most brutal Cliffhangers uh unresolved Cliffhangers that we've ever seen in television and um and it will definitely uh let's hope they get a renewal cuz I think you'll have a lot of angry fans if they don't but uh but what did you think of the season um I thought uh you know uh belir the social media wasn't as loud this year uh but when it did make noise on social media it really did make noise I saw the engagement um but it continues trying to blaze its own path within the mythology of the fresh prince of belir and and I think it's it's succeeded in doing that but hey if you enjoy the show you need to make noise you need to let people know that you enjoy the show um showrunners they watch the analytics on social media they watch reactions and and plays and uh and so yeah Make Some Noise if want
