DIY Low Budget Music Video Set Design (Behind The Scenes) [VLOG]

what's up everyone today we're going to do a cheap DIY music video set design tutorial i'm going to show you guys how we clear out the room build a dope looking set i had this vision in my head and hopefully the reality of it matches because in my head it's gonna be like look like it's lightning in here and there's wind hitting him and there's paper blowing everywhere so we're gonna see what it looks like stay tuned to find out and i'm just thinking of the plane so the way to be cover it then i want to go to the studio to get a pad of paper and one more pan oh yeah look at the hose absolutely not on the part there they are there they are i was thinking about putting caffeine today yeah yeah drink coffee i just focused a lot more on like my own things and they all started taking off so once quarantine ended and the studio opened back up like the demand was 60 80 hours a week for people that wanted studio time and it just completely took me away from all this that i was doing for myself so i hired two guys at the studio so like right now they're doing sessions the plan is to have three or four studios and have eight to ten guys there doing sessions studio stop here to get a pad of paper and a fan that we need for the music videos i know i want to read uh the 10x rule the grant cardone book i was going to settle on buying that building that i couldn't do all the shit that was home like no the 10x rule would be like that building and downsizing by something that's even bigger that's like future you shot people so ideally what i would have in the perfect building would be three full recording studios just like the one we're at one smaller studio which would be like for production only like not a vocal booth or a mic and then i would have my one dollar cd duplication company and then i'd also have a big kind of playground photography videography studio for uh photo shoots or you know a place for to do set for music video like this maybe instead of doing this set in his apartment it'd be like no let's let's let's build a little set at our shop it'd be like a empty warehouse looking place but we'll put the mattress right a bed mattress right there and then we'll decorate it and so just having the ability to do that so i know i need like 3 000 square foot or so to do it maybe even more it's gonna happen all right so we put the colored led light up there we're in the bathroom he's gonna be rapping to himself in the mirror i figure out which angle i'm gonna get stand like right here yeah yeah like up again that way i cannot yeah i can see both of you what i said i don't think i can life without caffeine today was gonna be my day that i quit caffeine but realized i'm not quitting it let's go to the gas station right now energy drink they say the grass is always green on the other side i don't think it's great i'll break it like it back over here with a thing we're almost done with this scene we're going to try something where he's laying down the song's called no sleep so he's going to be laying down looking right up at the camera ideally we'd have like a 20 000 crane that just goes right above it that's locked in looking straight down we don't have that so i'm probably going to put we don't have that yet so i'm probably going to put a chair and stand up and then just lean over with the ronin and hold it up over him and i'm going to film it wider so that way i can crop it in and then make it make the frame rotate i've never done it before but uh when i see it in videos i'm thinking that i think that's how they would do it besides actually having the camera rotate cheap way would be to film it and then have a lot of like bleed room so that way when you crop in you can make it spit it big brain what if i just straddle him no it'll work it'll work good i just gotta put the wide lens on i said this is gonna test my gym gainz oh this is fire so don't try this so we went to the overhead crane for free the name of the crane was these guns not only do we make a mess but we help to clean up yo someone better comment on this video like yo what's up with that random bear that they've seen in there we're outside now we're gonna do two more scenes one thing right here under one of these lights i'm gonna be hand held and then uh we're gonna do a walking scene alley pro 12:45 so there's not a lot of people out cars driving around so for i want to say two of the takes and then the take we're about to do right now our tutorial on my channel is called slow motion lip sync tutorial i'll put a link to that on the screen and in the description where you speed the song up so he's actually listening to a sped up like twerk mix of his song and he's wrapping it with that and i'm filming it in 60 frames so that way i can slow it down so it looks like he's got that slow motion look to it but he's actually on b and you're like holy how you do it that's how you do it how to deal with haters is consider your path your career a train going from new york to california and then any type of distractions drama haters that's just pit stops that's slowing you down from getting to your destination focus on where you're going and get there in the fast system all the time tomorrow when i wake up i'm going out of town to shoot a music video and after that i have to shoot another music video i'm focused on filming the behind the scenes content family time editing the video like that's what i'm doing tomorrow so whether one person tries to start a fight with me or hate on me or talk about me or distract me in any way shape or form like what i'm doing tomorrow is what i'm doing tomorrow they don't even exist it's like what you said throwing rocks at a train train's going in 100 miles an hour stand in front of it you can get ran over you throw at it she's going to think bounce off the train don't stop saying don't stop keep chugging food quarantine hours 1:30 in the morning they got wraps their
