[Music] good morning everyone I'm glad you're here thank you very much for joining me it is Sunday I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend yesterday morning up there at the geysers cob Mountain there was a magnitude 4.3 Earth Quake it occurred at 7:30 a.m. in cson there's been 56 other earthquakes most of them are aftershocks many of you that follow me know that I used to live up in this area multiple places there in uh Lake County yeah I lived in uh Clear Lake and Lakeport um Upper Lake lower lake lake and out by the gold mine there I knew several people who were working in building the uh thermal power plants and in back in 1990 1991 they started having earthquakes because the geysers were growing dry so they started adding water pumping water into the ground I guess they didn't expect that and they had um secret meetings at first about the induced earthquakes and all the people that were working building these power plants were told to keep their mouth shut the largest earthquake the 4.3 was next to the geyser Administration Center I wonder what kind of damage they have it's listed as Middletown USGS uh gave it a intensity level of five meaning people felt it definitely just about everybody felt it there would have been some breakage of dishes maybe Windows plaster cracks in the walls disturbance of tall objects so I wonder what kind of damage they have at that facility and if they evacuated if you work there did do evacuate the building the moment tensor ball while they're pumping water into the ground so they got uplift and spreading first wave came from directly below tension is going to be applied uh going Northwest you can see here with all the aftershocks yeah they're all going yeah Northwest the most recent here in red is a 1.2 the felt reports go all the way past Oakland to let's see um Berlin game okay yeah they felt it in Santa Rosa and Vacaville and here we got Kelseyville we got n or 16 reports intensity level five from Kelseyville um guys are Ville intensity level three two reports there Middletown two reports intensity level three the farthest it looks like um Little River intensity level one they must be earthquake sensitive um and then we also got oh Yaya we got one report from Yaya and hoplin yeah Hopland I hated that road in Hopland it was a narrow windy Road I wonder if they uh happen to get any landslides maybe maybe not more than likely not okay we got yville two reports from there um St Helena five reports from there um Calistoga yeah seven reports from there yeah that's Wine Country let's see three more reports from ciso geryville four reports from there let me close this out okay afterwards there was a magnitude 3.1 six people said they felt it um intensity level four there was one report sent in from Petaluma and Santa Rosa it was felt there and then uh Kelsey Bill three reports from there on the latest largest earthquake of a 2.5 five five reports of that looks like we got Clear Lake intensity level two and somewhere up there on cob Mountain try and see here oh sulfur Creek there is a fault line that's near this location right down here which is sulfur Creek uh yeah these induced earthquakes could trigger um these faults to move any earthquake has a 10% chance of being a fores shock for something much larger back in January close to the same location there was a magnitude 4.2 we also got a 4.1 which was also January that was the 26 this 3.1 that might be today's uh yeah today's um Shaker you know they don't care that they're causing earthquakes all they care about is producing energy yeah they call it clean energy but what is it doing to the environment yeah um I don't think it's worth it so what are your thoughts did you have damage please put that information down below um I appreciate you watching please like share and make sure you're still subscribe and I will talk to you later God bless you all bye [Music]
