after a huge raging cun Victory uh as the cinjun beat Kennesaw State by a final of 34-10 and uh what an impressive Victory It Was Elijah I mean when you talk about from start to finish it was a little bit of a a shaky start there at the beginning but when you talk about finishing the way that they did uh it was it was extremely impressive for sure yeah I agree man I mean you know when they when Kena went up seven nothing on their first drive I started shaking my head a little bit I'm like what's going on but you know occasion the cion pulled it out of course we expected them to but in the way that in the way that they did in that fashion of just fighting back against adversity in the opening minutes I think that was the way the occasions play I I like what I saw absolutely for those of y'all that are joining us on Facebook don't be afraid to also uh subscribe to our YouTube channel I'm going to comment in just a second uh that's where all of our episodes that we drop weekly on Mondays at 2 pm that's where all of our content resides there on our YouTube channel but we appreciate y'all that have hopped on here as Louisiana has beaten Kennesaw State 34-10 being the final we're going to hear from head coach Michael desimo and some of the players in the postgame Zoom interview link that we have here we're going to share that with you guys as well um but let's just look at some of the stats from the game the cinjun rushed for 257 yards to close the game out you you talking about running the football that's what you're supposed to do that's the way you're supposed to get it done uh zym Perry rushes for 104 he had a long run of 28 Elijah Bill Davis had 80 yards he had a long run of 49 and he also had two touchdowns uh Ben woid scampered here and there to show off his legs pick up first downs um and just continue to progress through the offense uh Ben also went 14 of 18 passing 184 yards and a touchdown not needing to throw the the ball very much in this Victory because of the way that the ground game was able to work and like I've said so many times like if you can't run the football you can't do anything else so for the team to come out and handle business in the way that they did running the football making sure things uh set up everything else offensively uh it was just the perfect touch yeah and I completely agree man you know running the football is key we all know that that's what desimo like to do with the offense I mean last year you saw some aggressive play calling because that was built off of the Run game that you know Gremlin probably scouted a year prior so again Elijah B Davis had a good a good game Perry had a great game you know Bill Wald he's using his legs when he needs to these guys are just playing complete team football it's not just one man last last week we saw uh Harvey have the you know the best receiving game this week you know it was coming down to Robbie Williams he got into the end zone so it's like you never know who they can find what can happen at the end of the day they have Playmakers on um every level from the receiver to the running back the quarterback and the line is playing very very well absolutely and not to mention like you said the defense as well outside of that opening drive where Kennesaw State had 16 plays uh took well over uh eight minutes there in the drive 74 yards and scoring on the the opening possession outside of that the defense shut everything down I mean only giving up a field goal from there uh maintaining the the standard for what they wanted to make sure that they could come out on top with the victory uh only holding the quarterback to just 93 yards passing Davis Bryson um who you know he was orchestrating that offense extremely well with the way things started off but it was just as the cinjun set in they were able to settle in get their offense or excuse me get their defense settled in and start making better tackles start making plays getting off the field uh because on that opening drive I believe uh koft state had four off four third Downs I think it was they had in that opening drive after that it was four for seven going into halftime and then I want to say let me see if I can pull it up real quick uh team stats team stats third down efficiency so they went four of four in the first drive they finished the game four of 12 on third down so they didn't get another third down after that first drive we always talk about having a response that's the best response that you can possibly have in that situation um absolutely a great way to to to go with that so like Elijah for you why was it so important for the defense to have that type of response after you know giving up that long drive and then giving up a touchdown as well because it's just adversity I mean you know especially when you're not home you don't have the home crowd on your side hearing you know third down like you know you're not hearing any of that right now you're just hearing uh you know what's what's good what's going on for um kenas State and for them to convert four for four now things can either go downhill and they can have a great game after that and they scored on that first possession it can go downhill but for the cajs they stuck to their guns they stuck to their game plan they still fought with one another and that's why it's so important because at the end of the day like we just talked about football is a team sport and sometimes the defense G to feed off the energy off the offense and the offense can feed off the energy of the defense as you can see the defense had to me was the stronger part of the day like you just said because only because they fought through adversity going uh not getting off the grass in the first possession but now getting off the grass every possession after that and winning in dominant fashion I mean going from only allowing 10 points and back to back weeks they only allow 10 points in back to back weeks that's huge and I and and I appreciate that to to say that hey this this this team can be something special in the sunbell and for for all the college football so I can't wait to see how they build off of this coming in absolutely and I mean even though it's against a quote unquote inferior team a team that you're supposed to beat on paper like coach Dez said on Monday like this team team is still everyone is looking at what they were last year the record that they've been in the past and so until they prove otherwise which they're continuing to do that picking up another dominant Victory here so 40 points last week 34 here tonight um proving that they can get the job done now their next bigger test is against tlane they'll have a week off to be able to you know get healthy here and there in the spots where they need to and once they're able to do that they will come out and face off against a two-lane team that went down to the wire with Kansas State uh earlier today you know had them there in New Orleans with them in a home game um where they had an opportunity to be able to close out the ball game or at least tie it um and they weren't ultimately able to get it done so you know John sumall is gonna have that team extremely hungry as they come into that contest on the 21st because U has next week off for a by week they're going to be extremely hungry so uh e how do you feel like at this point point in time in the season having that type of by week how is that going to benefit the cun this early on I just think it's it's good to get a rest uh they're getting good rest right now especially heading into the bye and they have a a great opponent as they just went down to the wire to against Kansas state which I don't think tane should have lost that game at all because it was a silly turnover by the quarterback who I don't know what he was doing but it seemed like he just rolled the ball out there for Kansas State to grab it and that's how they scooped the score and got that 34 to 26 seven lead but again for the cajs this is just this is just a time for you just to rest and build on what you have because at the end of the day this is momentum you know they built great momentum I know it was wins against Grand State and it was a win against kenth Hall State but at the end of the day a win is a win and they did it in dominant fashion it wasn't like uh they were hurting themselves throughout this ball game and they showed weaknesses so I just think that you know this is coming at an important moment a pivotal moment for them and I think that this can be something if they pull off what the unthinkable is to the world of beating T Lane I think we could see some dangerous things with these cajs man I think it could roll the dice to saying that this team can be the sun Bel championship and hopefully hopefully just hopefully this cross here could be one of those teams that can say that they're one of the final 12 teams in that playoff but they got to continue to handle business because I think it's I think it's coming off a great time now for you fits do you feel like um the win today is big big coming towards going towards that by week ahead into two well for right now e we got a coach Dez getting ready to come up and talk with the team right now I'm looking at them over on Zoom uh so we're g to get things set up bear with us ladies and gentlemen this is in real time that we getting this situated um that the team is getting ready to talk with head coach Michael desimo um so we're going to go ahead and hop into the zoom in just a second see for for e e e e e e e e e e e e e mute my mic this in real time y'all I'm muting my mic here uh sharing screens and all this stuff like that so as we're waiting on the players uh you heard coach Dez talk about you know the way that these guys were able to run the football and things like that um and just how important that was for what they had um zylen Perry and all of those guys in the Run game it was extremely important for them to get it going um so we're gonna be able to hear from him the pride of Franklin Louisiana Franklin Hornet uh a very important guy there on the team so we're GNA hear from him in just a few minutes um but yeah uh very exciting VI there for the cun as they get the the win 34-10 over Kena State there Elijah you got any thoughts as with waiting yeah man I mean did just desmo you know we talk about this all the time desmo just seems so happy he just seem so happy right now with his football team especially how they they playing so I'm happy I'm happy for him because I know that you know spish in six or seven two years back the back you you really got to trip on your shoulder and um you know again we just talking about it is gramlin state State you know two wins that you know was supposed to be there for him but the way that they dominated and they played just shows that you know what about you man do you do you feel like what do you feel like seeing's press conference right now yeah I think he knows what he has with his team I think he knows that his team is is feeling good about themselves right now um but he also understands that you know there are bigger games ahead of them the the quote unquote big games ahead of them that they have to tackle um and so he's just trying to make sure that those guys are ready um that they you know have the right mentality as they're heading uh into a bye-week now they're now trying to get a little bit more healthy um I think that's super important for their team to be able to do those things uh yeah I think I think as they continue to build as they can continue to have momentum um that they're going to be all right so uh let me see if uh zy is back up here let's see let let's go Z so as you can see ladies and gentlemen we're waiting on zyl Perry to come up look just look at it just look at it everybody over there look at everybody over there man they're just just in tune to it they're happy with the success that they have so far I mean you know and you know it's like this time of the year where you know you couldn't wait to show the world what you can do because you know everything happens behind the scenes you got Camp you got this you got that and then for the last two weeks you showed what you really have out there and look you know I'm happy for this football team I'm very happy e e e e hey Zin just tell me you know how exciting was it to come up big for your team like this um in a road game uh to be able to get it done for your team like the way you did e e e e e e sorry ladies and gentlemen we're working on the audio right now trying to figure out why you guys can't hear because we can well guys we are working to get this audio situation figured out uh as we are here after the Raging cun won their uh contest there against Kena State we can hear it in our ears so I'm I'm really interested to see why it's not playing back out uh through the zoom um maybe I need to hop out the Z but um ZM Perry there just saying how um you know he was grateful to be able to come up big for his team in that moment you know uh drin yeah I don't think that L is gonna get on but uh drayen Washington uh coming up or excuse me drayen Washington did not play tonight and so the carries were predominantly on you know Bill Davis and on zyen Perry uh to have those two young guys being able to step in there in that position um was impr impressive you know and to be able to get it done where they rushed for a 100 yards or Bild did and then zyen getting his carries in there together as a backfield as a total getting more than 200 yards uh it was big for them for sure how big is that to have depth like that you know you know drayen could be a key factor as well but how big is that for them to have dep like that and then shows tonight like this yeah and I mean you still had like Thailand citizen uh former Church Point bear shout out to him he got a few carries in there also um that being able to happen you know was big you know you kendrell Williams I think got a carry in there too so UL is extremely deep in the running back room um and that's why you know there's no such thing as really a featured back it's kind of just a mixture of guys that are able to you know set up get things going um and and being able to run the football it's never just one guy you know you might ride a hot hand for a little bit but uh it's never going to be just all right this is a guy that's going to get 20 carries you're going to have 20 to 30 carries spaced out over time um and I think that that truly is what helps them to be uh successful it keeps them with fresh legs um and when the Run game is working for them everything is able to click all there together so um they said that Dal camber is supposed to get up like I said uh ladies and gentlemen we have the zoom pulled up but for some reason we are not hearing the audio out uh playing out through our live stream so so what was some of the stuff I mean for the guys that could hear that was in there what was some of the stuff KC oide was saying yeah he just said you know the defense uh you know played uh extremely well um and you know that they they needed to come out after that first stop and you know respond you know it's not always about how you start things but it's how you finish it up so like we said you know kenesa state was four for four there at the looks like dalen Camry is hopping on now e e e e we apologize for the audio issues happening there uh with the zoom but D was uh dalen Camry there who had a block punt the former STM cougar uh getting the job done there to set up the cun right before uh halftime I believe it was yeah right there at the end of the second quarter um basically what he was just saying you know uh they felt like it was their night that they would be able to get a block punt um they mentioned on the broadcast how dalen is kind of the guy that a lot of the coaches go to to talk about like hey what do you see here that we can get done that we might be able to slip somebody in there to be able to block a punt um and him being a guy that doesn't get a whole lot of catches on offense because of the other receivers that they have on the team but he's someone that's able to you know step up and be in a situation um where he's still able to contribute to the team in a very important aspect uh Elijah I know you probably haven't seen how Dal is able to help on special teams just as much but you know could you just speak to how important it is when you have a guy that's you know someone that plays their role and is able to step in that position and handle business the way he does yeah we never really talk about special teams but uh special teams actually Mak you know the big play um basically they can flip a game no matter where it goes I mean think about it you got your field goal punter field kickers your punters then you got guys who can contribute just like how he does and again that that will actually turn the game around and you know for him to be a main contributor and help put this you know give give like contributive of helping of of um I'm sorry field position and things of that nature I think that's what happens with special teams I love I love when guys can make plays like that I mean that's just another weapon I mean I know they don't get a lot of love but it's another weapon to help turn the game turn the factor of a game put them where put the offense or the defense where they need to be and help this team push uh towards you know a victory because field position is big special teams is usually what that is is field positioning that's big when it comes to you know especially tight ball games tonight it wasn't really tight but when it is a tight ball game you can expect for something like that to happen and that guy can make that play So it's good that to have somebody like that special contributor on special team yeah and like we said you know um former STM cougar not a guy that you know gets a whole lot of passes on the field uh offensively but he is able to step in and make plays like blocking a punt like that that's you know extremely important especially when you look at the fact that being able to do things like that can almost help you steal possessions you can be in situations uh where you needed like you know because of that U had an opportunity to either score a touchdown ultimately they were able to pick up a field goal out of that um so just being able to get things like that done and a guy understanding his role that's what makes up a championship caliber team like okay I might not get 10 reception for 150 yards and two touchdowns but this block punt can be just as important as any touchdown pass any touchdown run any sack strip fumble anything like that that anybody else can do um so big UPS to to dalen Camry so that was dalen Camry Casey osai um and zylen Perry that we heard from uh again ladies and gentlemen we do apologize for the technical issues we will get that fixed this is the first time that we're hopping on a live stream whatever you want to call it our lady of L stadium is being renovated uh the two-lane Green Wave will come into Lafayette Louisiana uh new head coach John Summerall was at Troy last season so he is extremely familiar with this team uh Elijah just based on what we saw from tane earlier today what are your early thoughts about them uh T Lane can score T Lane can score they can score against anybody um they can get up and down the field um defensively they gave up a lot of points but that was to Kansas State but at the same time they're very competitive which I thought they should have beat Kansas State today but what I really like about um two lane is that they you know they they stuck together no matter what they did you know um having that big lead um then just diminishing it it was kind of bad but then it came down to a last second play where tulan could have eventually tied the game and I don't know if they would have went for two or not and or went to overtime if they made the extra point but they were still together they lost a play at the one yard line um T Lane was right there it was right there and then one thing that coach did after the game he waited till everybody got into the locker room you know he still gave them a handshake and a hug for how hard they fought because I mean a lot of people didn't think that they were in the game I mean let's be real a lot of people didn't think they would win that game or would be a close contest but the people in that locker room so again I think this match up will be fun it will be fun for both squads but also for the state of Louisiana because uh to me these are two teams that's you know they're they're right they're they're coming up they're coming up so I think these two teams right now will be will be pretty fun to watch two Saturdays yeah I mean you look at the fact that you know last year T Lane was ranked uh and then I believe it was the year before that they beat Caleb Williams and USC in the cotton ball like they they they they have pushed themselves in the National Spotlight that's why they were playing that game I believe the game was on ESPN to if I'm not mistaken um to be able to go against a Kansas State team that's ranked number 17 in the country um to be in that position to uh play in games like that to have opportunities to uh face opponents like that that says a lot about the direction that that program is going in and this is going to be a huge test for U like I know this is a a good feeling for the guys right now they're excited about this Victory because you know every week you work you practice to make sure that you can get things done um and that you can be in position you know to make great plays and go out and do what you need to do on the football field but games like what they're going to have in two Saturdays like you said those are the games that you you play football for that's why you you buckle up your chin strap that's why you step on the field because you know you're going to get a great football game out of the Green Wave ladies and gentlemen if you did not know two lane played earlier today against Kansas State they lost in that contest their first loss of this very young season 34-27 was the final a very controversial or controversial what however whatever it is um a a very interesting uh offensive pass interference call uh that happened there at the end of that game as uh the quarterback I'm trying to look at the young man's name because I'm trying to uh Mr Mah Daren Mah was throwing a touchdown pass to an open receiver and it would be called back due to an offensive pass interference call Elijah what were your thoughts on that happening uh scene that happened there to two lane there in that game I'm gonna be frankly honest um yeah that's two lane fault I think two lane if if the quarterback fired it quicker I think it would have been first of all been you know easy walking touchdown and I think number two um it would have been called but he held on to the ball later and longer made it easy for the zebras to throw the flag so at the end of the day um I think that was all that was T Lane fault right there he held the ball way way too long right there he should have just boom bow should have been a boom bang play um but it wasn't and that that's why I feel like tulan really lost that that football game because it wasn't a a bang banging play so um yeah you can say it's controversy it's all it's always going to be there in the sport of football you're going to get heartbreak losses like that sometimes it's your fault sometimes it's not and um I just think right now that was the green a fought but I'm but at the end of the day I'm still happy of how they fought in this ball game so I'm not taking anything away from them um but it was just you know just one mishap um that that that put them where where they are and given them that first loss of this very young season absolutely so two lane uh drops to one and one Kansas State moves on to be two- 0 in that contest as well and so T Lane is going to be extremely hungry as they enter a I believe they have an off week as well going into the uh to the next week let me pull up this schedule real quick um no actually T Lan has to play Big Boy football again John Sall said that they have to play Big Boy football again as they are going to uh Norman Oklahoma to face off with the Oklahoma Sooners who are ranked 15th in the country so UL is going to be uh facing off against a very battle tested two-lane football team so now that I have seen that uh that kind of changes the perspective a little a little bit that doesn't necessarily say that I'm saying that I think UL is just going to steamroll through them because tane is a formidable team they went toe-to-toe with the number 17 team in the country and I think that they're going to play extremely well against Oklahoma but man like you kind of catching them at the right time because they're gonna be coming out of a lot of things in the mix that are happening to them in that season that early parts of that season uh before they get deep off into their conference play um yeah so UL will face off with t Lane they get a week off to rest up uh get more healthy you know drayen Washington didn't play in this week's game um so you'll get him back to be able to get healthy um jaon Harrington at uh left guard I believe it is IR native did not play tonight as well um and we saw Kayton Morrow former Pineville Rebel a guy that we both covered in high school um getting some reps there uh in the football game and getting an opportunity to to to get some rep going um so yeah those guys will be able to get healthy as UL uh picks up a huge victory over Kennesaw State uh in a contest where they were favored by I believe 14 and a half and it might have been 15 at the start of uh tonight they were favored heavily to go into this win to pick up the Victory and they did it you know coach de said that we not worried about none of that stuff but they were able to get the job done uh So currently ladies and gentlemen we are waiting for LSU to wrap up it is going to be a victory for them because they are currently up in the game against Nicholls 44 to 21 so I guess we can kind of start sputtering some thoughts out about it you know um Elijah what what early on with what we saw in the game uh what were your thoughts and takeaways uh with way LSU has played we have uh two minutes and 25 seconds left in that contest um I'm G say this uh first I'm going to go ahead go with the move Stone um first of all happy to see Jaan Johnson getting into the end zone guys that we guy that we both covered you know he came from the DB room and now he's in the running back room I'm happy to see him get in the end zone Kyra Lacy gets back in the end zone um thoughts prayers goes out to Jacobian um as he hurts himself and we don't know what what the diagnosis is just yet but you know just sad and because you know all hard he worked to be a part of that defensive lineman room but I'm not impressed by anything with ls I'm not gonna lie to you I'm not impressed um at the end of the day man this is Nicholls this is Nicholls I mean I know this is a college football team they put on their pants the same way you do but that doesn't mean it's the same talent in the State LSU recruits the big talent and then it goes and trickles down to everybody else LSU has the talent on their football team Brian Kelly is at the helmet um no offense to other teams in the state but you would think that Brian Kelly should be the guy um when you talk about coaches especially college coaches in this state so with that saying is for them to be only up giving up what what 21 points 21 points to nichels like are you serious like I I I don't I know they G you know people that's a fan of nickels I'm sorry if I'm disrespecting you but this is LSU this is the 18th ranked team in the country this is not a a a a you know we're not looking at somebody that's not in the top 25 we're looking at somebody that is in the top 25 who we think will be in the college playoff but we think could win the SEC West and you're telling me you gave up 21 points to Nicholls to Nichols not impressed not impressed yeah uh Colin gugenheim has made a name for himself over there at Nichols the young man thus far in the game like I said the game is still two minutes left in the contest there that two-minute timeout at this point LSU has the ball in there driving that man has 25 carries for 145 yards and two touchdowns let me tell you something I'm G put a ISO up on myself on this one hold on me how I can switch this whatever right now LSU they need to be worried they need to be extremely worried um it's not the time to hit the panic button but the sense of urgency definitely needs to kick in it needs to uh go up for sure uh I I don't know what the issue might be you hire a new defensive coordinator to try to solve your problems and uh it it it's still there you you can't stop the run all that much you uh you're trying to figure out things on offense you're kind of sputtering here and there I mean at one point in the game if I'm not mistaken it was 23 to 21 at one point in the game uh well I got Daryl going crazy down the CH you El should have got that kid yeah yeah I mean uh like th this is this is like Elijah just said this is this is kind of unacceptable like I know Brian Kelly is not going to be pleased with his team's performance now obviously you have some some high points in there Garett nzm goes 27 of 37 302 yards and six touchdowns you're supposed to do that though you know like like that's a great stat line to Rattle off but you're supposed to do that you're supposed to be in that position you're supposed to be handling business in doing that you know you have guys that uh have big nights receiving Kyon Lacy a former ragent Cajun five catches 65 yards and three touchdowns xaven Thomas five catches 50 yards and a touchdown Jawan Johnson like Elijah said getting his first Collegiate touchdown I to be honest I'm excited to see what his career turns out to be because we know what the type of offensive Juggernaut he you know he was in high school but now you get here on the big stage you're playing big boy football you're playing in the SEC and it's a lot different now um I'm interested to see how things will turn out for him um but defensively you uh you let Nicholls March up and down the field on you and it wasn't a good showing uh as the the time is ticking down right now it's about 40 seconds left in the contest Brian Kelly scratching the top of his head I think he's gonna call a time out um here so it's about 30 seconds left this game is essentially over uh so I'll go ahead and put the banner up saying that LSU escapes with a win they're going to escape this one Ricky Collins in right now at QB um LSU is going to escape with a win over Nicholls 40421 and again that score looks like they blew him out but sometimes you can't just look at the box score you gotta watch these games and when I tell you that looking at this game it was some moments where I was like Nichols might fol around and do the thing they might pull off the upset it was a few times I was feeling that way I was like I don't know it might happen uh you know it's good for them to have came out and got the victory that they were supposed to get uh but yeah they've got some they got some cleaning up to do um because next up for them is a South Carolina team that if I'm not mistaken they beat the braks off of Kentucky they beat the breaks off of Kentucky so you can't come in there half stepping and it's an 11 a kick so you going you you got the brunch game you got the the shrimp and grits game you got the Mimosa game where you gotta wake up and get things going you gotta you gotta get off to a fast start you got to get off the field on third down you got to figure it out man because right now against Nicholls you did not look good if that was any team in the SEC and you put that type of showing out there you probably lose that game oh too and no probably you lose that game and you ow and two and now you looking like Florida State sitting outside of the top 25 without question without without a shadow of a doubt you're outside of the top 25 no doubt about it this is just nasty and and you know what Brian Kelly you should bang your hand on the table again I I don't care I don't care this win is not impressive if I don't care what is the stats say I don't care what the scores say I don't care if you calling on Baton Rouge tonight this win is not impressive it's not impressive like LSU you look look Fitz said don't press the panic button I'm pressing the big red button this is ridiculous this is ridiculous there no way you talked about we we always talk about how talented this squad can be you know this is post Malik and post Jaden era you know but at the end of the day you know you guys reload every year and it's like you you you really cutting it this close with Nicholls that's just showing you how much you may be in trouble when you get into SEC play you really may be in trouble when you get the SEC now it's nothing get you know Alabama struggling against South Florida but that's South Florida you know what I'm saying that's not Alabama A&M that is that's South Florida at the end of the day bro look Brian Kelly you gotta figure out you got to figure out who's trying to go out there and play and not who's trying to look like they're out there to look good in dress rehearsal because they got a tiger helmet and a LSU across their chest you got to find out who's trying to play that's that's what it's gonna come down to with it Brian you got to find out who is your players who's out there trying to play and not just out there just trying to look good because again you had most of you have some roster experience coming back but it doesn't show it doesn't show and look here I I didn't even we didn't even get into this at all now now the game is final we can look at the he's waving his players saying y'all get on off the field cuz I know he going to go in that locker room and he going to be throwing t chairs uh and all sorts of stuff off the side of the wall um yeah that's crazy gear NM is getting interviewed so I'm gonna listen and kind of feed things into y'all right now gar starts off by giving glory to God as he always does think we did a great job as tonight he said they did a great job as an offense finishing off Drive which they did we'll look at the play byplay in just a second o line kept him ight he throws for six touchdowns and he says that the reason he was able to do it is because he has so many Playmakers around him he gave those guys chances to make plays and they absolutely did that in the play they were supposed to were supposed to get that done and next week they're on the road against South Carolina they get their first win gotta roll in the SEC play they gotta clean things up and play smarter play Tighter and tighten up tighten up they definitely do uh I don't even think them boys gonna sing uh singma mother I don't I don't even think them boys G sing you know normally they be they be rocking back and forth I don't even think they doing that Brian killer said get in that locker room cuse y'all GNA get chewed out cause we in trouble this is this is not good nasty this is very nasty nasty um nasty this is a situation uh for them where they've got to look into the mirror and truly figure out how they want this season to go and finish for themselves they've got to figure out how do we want to be defined in this year if we wanna you know go out like the way Colorado is right now against Nebraska Colorado is currently down 28 to 28- 10 excuse me they're in the fourth quarter uh Nebraska has the football so they're probably going to lose that game and go one and one on the season they should be 0 and2 because North Dakota State um only only lost only lost to him by five uh but yeah yeah BK did look mad Daryl um this team uh coming in had expectations has aspirations like we say all the time LS has those expectations and they believe that they are supposed to be in the national championship conversation they believe that they're supposed to be in the college football playoff picture and quite frankly with the amount of talent that they can Garner with the amount of resources that they have they should but sometimes that stuff don't work out and that's why you play the game that's why you lace up them cleat that's why you Buckle that chin strap that's why you hit that football field because that's where the game is really played it's not on paper I'm G tell you this they lucky I'm not a part of NCAA committee you think you 18 this week you 25 next week got the play you didn't have to lose to go down you're going down next week this this is not it LSU this is not it like you know like teams like okay like you just said Colorado they getting smoked by Nebraska I get it you know teams like Michigan they lost to Texas today that's Texas those are two teams that's in top against Nicholls man like it's not even it's not even close UL had a better impressive an impressive Victory more impressive Victory with their last two weeks than what LSU has shown I I really really feel like that I really do yeah man um it's uh it's interesting we're talk more about it on the podcast uh tomorrow uh so former LSU Tiger uh posting on her social media platforms that she is out for the season she will not complete her rookie uh season after she has a season ending injury uh she did not disclose uh what it is at all uh but Elijah uh what are your thoughts on the um potential Rookie of the Year you know there's conversations and I know people F to start going crazy saying Caitlyn Angel and all this stuff like that but you never want to see anybody get hurt uh what are your thoughts on this injury happening um I just think that angel ree I think Angel ree is that's it's sad for her right now honestly um but you know I do like what she posted basically like her last field goal was a three-point made and that's what she wants to she want to continue to work on her game as she as she you know try to progress to come back for the follow for The Following season but you know um you can't it upss you because at the end of the day she was competing out there to be one of those guys one of those ladies uh to potentially win the Rookie of the Year and um you know take that home with her because you know a lot of people did have a lot of doubts of her and how her game would translate going into the professional world and she proved some people wrong because of how she played and how she uh you know fit in well with the team with Chicago so now um you know you just got to wish her well wishes and just hope that you know she come back bigger and stronger next year and possibly help Chicago go further than they ever been for sure man uh angre ree will close out her rookie season uh 13.6 points per game 13.1 rebounds per game uh she had the most I believe it was double doubles in a total season by a WNBA player um getting that done um regardless of how you feel about the girl uh regardless of what you think about her game what you think about you know what she does on social media how she talks and how she carries herself you never want to see a player uh go down with an injury you never want to see anybody uh you know not being able to complete or compete at the highest level of what they do because that's ultimately why we sit and talk about these things that's why we pay tickets to go and watch games that's why we buy jerseys that's why we do what we do in all in the name of sports and in the Love of the Game um so it's never a good thing when we see a player especially if her caliber go down um but in terms of on the court this I mean it's a clear path now for Caitlyn Clark uh to get Rookie of the Year in those regards um so we're praying for a speedy recovery for Angel and whatever that in may be and I'm sure she's going to disclose it U if she feels like it but even if she doesn't I'm sure because of uh the way people talk and the way that we are in the social media era it will come out in some capacity and uh we'll be finding out what that injury may be for her um so I think that is that is pretty much it for us tonight ladies and gentlemen
