Cost of response following Chatt State incident

all righty thank you Dallas well yesterday chattanoga State experienced a 3 and a half hour lockdown and investigators are still trying to determine just what happened after a person called and started making demands students and faculty were sent alerts to stay indoors and lock their rooms a police responded quickly and in larg numbers clearing the campus to ensure nobody was hurt the caller had claimed to have hostages and was demanding money well Grayson Gordon has more from law enforcement on that response We are continuing to learn more about the incident that shut down chat State's campus there was a magnitude of law enforcement that responded to the scene 10 agencies in total responded to Chattanooga State Community College including local state and National agencies Hamilton County EMS responded for anyone needing medical attention two people were treated for anxiety and one officer for heat related illness chanoa fire department responded to aess reports of a gas League which was cleared it is a um a wonderful thing to hear that we have an excellent response um from all of our responding agencies work together as a team to make sure that everybody continues to have a a safe environment local sky 3 video showed the widespread response Nancy Patterson with Chatanooga State Community College says there was an estimated almost 2,000 students in faculty on campus when the incident happened Chattanooga police are heading up the investigation and any updates will come from them reporting in Chattanooga Grayson Gordon Local 3 news
