FSU QB Brock Glenn Interview Spring Practice Day Two | FSU Football | Warchant TV #FSU

how are the first two days going so far uh good good I think the intensity has been really well um we're focusing on communication uh especially learning the new the new headsets and stuff like that the the headsets in our ears so just communication and and filling out some new areas like the Huddle and stuff that we haven't done previously um so it's I think it's been great we've seen a lot of guys show out and show up and it's been awesome we're excited excited what has what has what has the headset kind of done so far what adjustments have you had to make to it the head said uh it was super weird at first it's hard to hear to uh coaching Tom especially when he's yelling you it's really muffled so you can't really hear but uh no it's it's been it's been very beneficial to to all of us in the room um the Huddle adds a new element to the game and it gives us a tactical advantage and uh it's been great during practice as well cuz um coach can give us tips and and thoughts and reminders pre and post Snap um well not during the play but after the after the plays over instead of running all the way over to him he can he can just tell us hey Brock uh do this that that aesome all this and and uh we can communicate that way so it's helped us tremendously I'm sure uh The Playbook and knowledge of that isn't a big area where where else a year ago when you got here to now have you kind of seen the most growth um I think just being more comfortable with within the whole offense um I'm just I'm out here able to play freely now and uh I I know I feel like I know this playb extremely well um it's it's it's been it's been a it's been a fun spring so far and I'm excited for the future but I mean yeah I I think just my knowledge of the The Playbook and kind of the returning guys and that that chemistry that we have and just building it with the new guys that we have here getting to know them personally and as a player on the field you mentioned the new guys can you talk about that receiving room and who you've kind of developed the best chemistry with so far yeah the receiving room is awesome this year it's awesome and even from last year it was good we had a great receiving room um and hakee we came in together and we had a great we had a great connection and I think we still have a good connection and then we got new guys like Malik and and he's he's done all in the spring and uh he's super he's super fun to throw to all the guys are super fun to throw to and uh they they've really impressed me and and every the whole quarterback room as whole for sure how much has uh dju kind of taken you under his wing and helped you out yeah yeah we're we're helping each other I mean uh he he's got a lot of experience so he can help me in that area and then I I have a year under my belt in this Playbook so I can help him in there so we we're kind of helping each other and I think it's awesome for us and uh we're just trying to We're just trying to get to know each other the best that we can and it's been awesome what were you able to take away from the two starts last season even between them you seemed like you grew a lot from one start to the other so what was that process like and what did you learn from it absolutely the main thing I took away from it was just the game speed it's a lot different than practice and going into the game I kind of thought it would be a little bit like practice I mean obviously you know it's going to be higher intensity but when I got in the game it was it was it was a different level so uh just taking that that game rep intensity into practice helped me to Ry from game one to game two and even this spring that's I'm trying to implement it just have a great intensity content what I do um and try to try to keep it to game level It ultimately help you those those experiences sir did they ultimately help you uh yes sir absolutely absolutely yes sir it helped tremendously what have you seen from Luke so far in his first two practices and how have you helped him out cuz you were in the same shoes last year absolutely yeah Jordan was a great uh resource for me last year and he he kind of took me under his wing especially with the Playbook mentally and I'm trying to do the same thing for for Luke cuz I mean I know how how it can be coming in as a freshman early enrolling um so I kind of want to do the same thing what Jordan did for me to the best of my ability um and just he's he's a great guy off the field we cut up a little bit and uh he fits in this per uh quarterback room perfectly what's it like seeing Jordan back out here out of out of the boot again and I know he he talked I think he called you kind of his little brother we talked to him earlier today go you're relationship you're able to build even though you're only together for a year yeah it's awesome it's awesome seeing him out here and uh he he got here the other day and the first day he was here we hung out and uh we hung out last night and probably going to hang out again tonight but uh that's my guy I love him and uh he's a great dude great dude you received a lot of Praise from the coaching staff for your winter workouts can you just talk about Tour of Duty and what you're trying to do physically yeah Tour of Duty is awesome it's a it's a challenge M mentally and physically um I think a big thing for me just going into it was mentally straining myself and and growing my my mental toughness and mental strength and I think I did that uh it's it's obviously going to be hard but just having resilience and keep going knowing that they can't kill you that you're just going to be tired keep going so I TR to work on that and I think I did think I did pretty good at yeah
