he originally broke in with the Cubs had a second s recently and Stevenson gets hit in the head and looks right back at Nate Pearson Here Comes David Bell out of the Red's Dugout and Stevenson who is as kind and forgiving a human as I know is incredibly upset and understandably so cuz he got hit in the head right in the wake of a home run and Stevenson remember has had concussion problems in his major league career it's part of why he changed the mask that he uses when he's catching Here Comes athletic trainer Tomas ver to check on the Red's primary back stop and the umpires are huddled up this is game one of a series and he's been ejected Pearson's been tossed from the game and now Council emerges from the cup dug out he's removed the ball cap now he's jogging out trying to help his catcher Miguel Amaya who's immersed in it with home PL man DJ Raburn and now Council goes nose to [Applause] nose he's been upset about the strike zone all night as have many of the Cubs who have been rather [Applause] animated and I can't see how Council leaves this field and stays in the game now Pearson in his Cubs debut they just traded for him from Toronto ejected [Applause] Stevenson rubbing at his Temple and Council becoming even more animated I I I just how is he going to walk away from this and what does this mean in terms of ripples in the series yeah first and foremost you hope for the the health and safety of Stevenson and he's been tossed and he knew that was coming yeah [Applause] [Applause] [Music] now Stevenson now chatting with Danby Swanson who just tapped him on the back and words came from the cup catcher Miguel Amaya Stevenson seemed to acknowledge Him with a raised hand I mean right after a home run yeah exactly intentional or not first of all hitting any guys anybody up in the head and that's got to be the thought and regardless if it's intentional or not it [Music] happened just looks like Tyler's okay and that's the most important [Music] thing so Ryan flarity the Cubs bench coach they'll need a new arm we'll go to break you can see that red spot on the head of Tyler Stevenson
