until 2017 Boise's Jewish Community got together every year to celebrate Deli days but after a 7-year absence the community is finally getting back together to celebrate the first annual Idaho Jewish Festival I'm your neighborhood reporter Alexander huddleson and I spoke with several who attended the fun festivities on Sunday this is a way to kind of give back to the community and then share what we're all about hundreds gathered at ahavath Beth Israel in Boise where the synagogue hosted the first annual Idaho Jewish Festival the main reason is the Outreach of the community and let the community know who we are and what we stand for and and and it show that we're a warm and welcoming uh Community folks were entertained by several music performances as well as a local Israeli dance group and we're here to share that Joy with the community the community should know that they have a small but very joyful group of Jews and Israeli folk dancers in the community attendees also got to enjoy authentic food it had a really big reputation big shoes to fill and everyone was like oh my God a bagel shot with Jewish roots like maybe maybe they'll do Deli days many were just excited to be able to enjoy the festival's long-awaited return I'm just thrilled to be here the weather is decent the smoke is tolerable um it's a good crowd a lot of people everybody seems to be in enjoying themselves and I'm very very impressed from the festival the support of the community is terrific integral part of our community globally and in Idaho and they're doing an amazing job it's really nice to be able to like see everybody to come like together for people to talk if you want to know more about any other events planned by the synagogue you can click the link in this story on Idaho new 6.com I'm your neighborhood reporter Alexander HUD Idaho new 6
