Michigan Wolverines 2024 football schedule preview

hey guys this Mark with on the mark Sports thanks for tuning in recently I uh published a a video where I previewed the 2024 Michigan football season and mentioned how uh that schedule being so tough as it is uh this year I see Michigan dropping three to four games wanted to go back pull up the schedule and kind of go game by game and give you an idea of what I was talking about and way I feel that way season starts August 31st at home against no State as a matter of fact Michigan starts the season with five straight home games uh not uncommon for the ma and blue to pay people to come into the big house um but it starts August 31st with Fresno State Michigan should be maybe a little rusty uh may not impressed that uh that much in week one um but at the end of the day you got to think they uh they get the victory week two is when they put on their big boy pants and um play a tough team from Austin Texas comes into Michigan Stadium September 7th and to be honest with you I think this is loss number one for the 2024 Michigan Wolverines I think the Longhorns go in and um handle the Wolverines enough and come out with a narrow Victory Michigan will be one and one going into week three where they host Arkansas State you know again another team that could step up and surprise the Wolverines give them a battle but you got to think at the end of the day Michigan will prevail week three and improve to two and one week four USC comes to town this will be a great matchup reminds me of a lot of old uh Rose bowls from the past growing up Trojans and Wolverines um but this time playing in the big house uh USC without Caleb Williams um uh they're uh somewhat uh expecting a down year um the game being in Michigan gotta think that somehow the aming blue will find a way to pull out a a victory ought to be a good game though week five the battle for the little brown jug Minnesota at Michigan um again you got to think the Wolverines will prevail don't know what to expect of the Gophers this year um but you got to think Michigan will win to improve to what four- one week five week five another tough game obviously Wolverine's got to go out west it's a rematch for the national championship with Washington minus Michael pennick uh tough environment Michigan never really does play very well out west uh on the west coast and this might be a game that uh the the huskys uh exact a little revenge and beat Michigan um for loss number two on the Wolverines uh 2024 schedule Michigan returns home for a by week and then on the 19th of October they travel again on the road to Illinois champagne to take on the fighting Aline Illinois could be Scrappy could be tough but you got to think at the end of the day Michigan has the talent to get the job done and get a victory Michigan comes home the following week October 26th it's the big uh Interstate rivalry with Sparty Michigan state in the big house Sparty Michigan State not as um good as they have been in the past um so you got to think Michigan will handle things and um beat their uh little brother again following week though it gets tough again real quick Oregon the ducks come to town in Ann Arbor on November 2nd uh really think um this could be loss number three for Michigan the Ducks a lot of talent people expecting a lot of things from Oregon this year even though the game's in Michigan I can see Oregon escaping Michigan Stadium with a with a victory following week November 9th Michigan's at Indiana Again Indiana another school that's Scrappy they um give Michigan fits they've given Ohio State fits over the years um this could be a close game could be an upset um but uh you got to think that um at the end of the day Michigan with the talent uh will prevail uh down in Bloomington November 23rd uh Northwestern the Wildcats come to Ann Arbor um got to think Michigan pulls that out as long as they're not looking ahead to the following week which is the game uh our trial Ohio State this year down in the Horseshoe in Columbus Ohio State should be loaded this year they should be mad uh having lost to Michigan last three years um and honestly I think Ohio State um can knock off Michigan this year especially at home um and losing to the bucke eyes would probably knock Michigan out of the uh playoff tournament talk that is what four losses or so uh just going to be uh really tough this year for Michigan um but we shall see I may be wrong I may be right but either way I'll sleep tonight this is Mark with on the mark Sports thanks for watching here's hoping all your plays and decisions today are on the mark
