Bubba Wallace Qual Lap well babba Wallace gave us a lot of excitement in the opening phase of qualifying where he tagged the wall a couple of times but kept his foot in it and drove his way to the best time for group a let's see what he can do here when it counts in this race for pole it'll be hard to bring the same level of a commitment that he had on that first lap he did everything but wreck the race car you I just think once you've made the top 10 is it worth it exactly I don't want that much commitment just get the best lap our car has in it we you've proven your commitment to me as he runs the top of three and four at Trend green it's coming back he's got time back Bubba Wallace could be on the provisional pole and he is how about that1 awesome performance in the US Air Force Toyota Wallace sits on the provisional pole well done Bubba Wallace Bubba Wallace Pole Interview and 2311 racing he did not mince his words dve Daytona where he said it's unex acceptable to be in the position we are in I shoulder that responsibility and here he's done something about it not only shouldering the responsibility using that shoulder for some big high fives congratulating host ofar as well you were very committed today the wall told the story there how did you do it that's told post that's um sorry that's part of the paint Scheme so especially when you come here um just uh can't say enough about this team it's uh hell of an effort it's been uh up and down year but we've been we've been really hot in the last I don't know a couple months or so and just been executing F all cylinders that's what it takes so um I wanted it to to be a great weekend and and uh you got to start on Saturdays and we did that so I wasn't happy with practice I to be honest with you I was pretty pissed about being sixth or seventh wherever we were so I had a little Redemption to do um but I just can't say enough about everybody at back at air speed part of this 2311 group 23 car appreciate it air for being on the car uh so many good things with them so just a lot of good things pointing our way but God it's the southern 500 so we got to work our asses off tomorrow um enjoy right now I got to go race Legend car tonight so that'll humble me real quick racing against keelin but uh all in all it's it's good to have fun and bring fast cars and can't thank everybody enough as an athlete what's it like to put it on your shoulders after last week and then deliver uh I strive for it you know I uh I'm a very emotional Guy and um I wear it on my sleeve and I'll let you know when it's not a good day or when it's a good day and today's a damn good day so I live for it it's on his sleevely good day
