Moving vlog | Story time | life so far in the UK | part 1

hey Lo um this is uh a moving is it moving out Vlog I don't even know what I'll tag this video because I was supposed to drop a video this week but sincerely speaking this girl has not been having it it has been a lot of stress looking for house not knowing where to go to and by tomorrow I'm out of this apartment or next tomorrow and up to this moment sincerely speaking I don't even I don't have it all figured out but I'm trusting God cuz I know that he always comes through so you're going to work with me for a while I just want to put the house together it's not like together I want to start pking some things the ones I can pack just few things while um the main parking will be tomorrow but today I just want to pack basic things you for example I want to start with the kitchen to bring out some things down from the cabinet see where I can put them just at least if I'm able to get done with some things in the kitchen it will really help helping not so that by tomorrow it will be closed cuz I have to wash tomorrow um separate the things I'll be taking to my girlfriend's house cuz one of my friend actually she okayed it for me to come and stay with her which is which is lovely yeah the same person that accommodated me when I came to Manchester is the same person yeah so I want I will separate the things I take to her house and then pack the other stuff that is remaining she'll also be keeping my Stu on too the girl is homeless yeah it's good not bad so guys walk with me today I hope you I hope you enjoyed so guys you're working with me so this is what this place I'll just bring down some of the things see where I can fix them do the the dishes the house is pretty small sincerely speaking it's pretty small but I don't know I enjoyed living here sincerely speaking I won't even lie it was so fun living in this house it was pretty fun this house came with its own blessings it you know there are moments of Tears as well in this house and to say that how I got this house it came it came without stress you get yeah it came without stress I hope you're seeing me I don't know just hope you're seeing me I want to first of all do the dishes yeah I want to first of all do the dishes when I'm done with the dishes I will now get to the to this place so everything is finished everything everything I don't want to be carrying some things around and the fact that I'm not moving directly into my house made it that I have to like finish some of this things like I have to get rid of them so that it will not spill or when I when I pack them it will not spill or when I put them in my friend's place yeah I don't know but sh I just felt like I needed three I just felt like I needed to get rid of them and get ready for get ready for a new phase so I was telling you a story of how this house came about I didn't stress about this house house I didn't really stress about the house which is a miracle cuz when I came in October I needed a place and my friend offered me a place to stay yeah and um from there I went I was okay how I got this place when I was coming from London to Manchester someone posted it on the school gr I saw it but the price guys the price was much and coming from Nigeria and what I've heard if you come across my other video where I talked about joining telegram groups so I've heard a lot about housing and all that so me I was like well we cannot pay more than 650 per month for rent if I'm able to get 500 so that we can save and finish up tution and another but it didn't work for me that way it didn't work so when I saw the house the house was almost 100 I just was like no this is way way too much I looked at the picture oh it was giving my I like okay yeah so I love the house I it's so cute and it has a g you know it has a concer place where I don't need to really be around to get to to get to receive my delivery or my packages you could just put it in the in the Box room and when I come the security when the security guy comes I'll just go there with my ID and get my Stu so it was price it was just giving a good vibe you know but the price so I didn't even bother discussing it you know with my partner I didn't bother telling him about it I just said well let us move so in the same group I saw another house that place what's the name of that place is it Le or I can't really remember but I saw some other houses and I wrote to them that I want to come and view the place um the other one was 550 for the rent then when the bill comes you play the bill which was pretty okay for me the other one was 450 but it's a very tiny space and I sent a message to the guy the other one was 750 and yeah the other one was 750 I also send a message if I can come but that one be the views views if I can come check out the and guess what guess what I just came to Manchester I don't even know my way around I'm just seeing different post code and this one o l l e this one so my let sh be sending the messages so when I was going to to view the one for the one the one of 7 one of my friend told me do you know where this place is I said I don't know he said this place is a big foul said this place is a bit foul I said e but I feel like the house is not bad and the price they giv the house for also not bad I think I want to so so he also to take me when we are done I think lectur or something offered to take me like I I fix an appointment with the that would come only for me to say oh let me just send this house thing that I saw to my husband so I sent it to him he looked at like I like it this is nice and it's close to your school which is also very important and did you reach out to them I said no I didn't reach out that I think that by now the house must have gone because you know it's close to school just that the price is a bit high but I told him that by now the house must let us that he said no that I should sendage I said this house is expensive I don't want us to end up going into also reaching for them and all I was okay but um I'll be in school tomorrow since it's close to school I just walk down and see the place they said okay they said okay so I wck the place and guys when I just immedately I came to the apartment building I fell in love I was like y I found my house I have found my house I'm not joking you those come on I will not lie it left me for a second I just was like guys I found place I'm not even joking I'm not even joking I Lov the place the he has a gym like fine God don't give me so and I went there spoke with the lady she said oh she not explain the situation it's a situation house so they are the ones with the contract they were leaving to somewhere else and they didn't have someone to the contract because here you sign that contract you don't sign if you default it you'll be paying I think £750 if you default it and why do you want to thr away that kind of money so the best thing to do is to just get someone else that can take over the contract if the person doesn't mind so the person pays you you pay the landlord however I don't know was a situation house so we agreed and I was like okay she said um that the deposit is so so so so so and so that whoever pays the deposit they just keep the house for the person and they moving out in two weeks I was like okay I just went outside I spoke to my husband I said see bab are you still interested what do you think he said yeah that it's not bad I told him okay if we can pay the if we can pay the okay no I called him on a video call I called him on the video call so I don't mean if we can pay the deposit these people would definitely these people will definitely keep this space for us and they moving in two weeks time is it too much can we wait he said yes that we can walk around it I told him okay so we I went downstairs after talking with him like it's okay so I called the lady and said okay I'm coming back I want to come and pay you the the deposit so that we know that this one is over we start waiting for the two weeks that you guys will stay so that we move in and another spec for the houses it came fished you know so I we didn't start thinking of buying mat we didn't start thinking of buying anything it has a microwave you know so just like okay this is a good a very good start despite that it's price but it's a very good start if both of us are working even as a parttime worker we can actually meet up the and it not be like um it not be like we we are spending so much and when you with someone that like good way you like good sometimes of you just be like she not money how much is money yeah that's how we took the place so I went outside made a few call paid them the PID them the the deposit and left the place I just moved around looked at the gym I just said this place is my place and that day that I view this the house someone else was coming to view it too someone was coming to view the house so they just came looked around I think the lady told me that oh that she doesn't want us to be she doesn't want me to be around when the other people are coming to you know those kind of so for privacy I said okay that's cool that I left and those PS came so I think that was before I I came back cuz I went back to scho I came back and paid her the deposit and afterwards I think she stopped asking to come and because it's just like you're paying a holding fee a holding fee gives you the holding Fe gives you the house like you can hold the house and people stop viewing it but the other bad thing is that if you end up not taking the house I think they say 50% something something will be taken from the deposit and they will now give you back the remaining one so if you pay 400 for deposit I think I don't know how they do the calculation but they will take some part of the money from you and then you will now do this thing and they not give you back the remaining one so that is it I'm grateful to God we got the place so I'm grateful to go got the place and and weid so there's something I want to do now you see this thing I bought it from Nigeria see don't know if you can see it dried with I leave and guess what I've not really used it there there there some things you shouldn't even bring to UK when you're coming because they they like vegetable this V now they have the wrong one the one that's the one that is in the sck you know how they plug it from the road they have it here so if you feel like this one is your problem don't and buy this DED one because it doesn't even give the flavor it doesn't even give it's like nothing you get it's not like UK is in a desert they ship all those UK is not far from Nigeria far from Africa so they ship all those things here from Ghana from Nigeria from Cameron they bring all these things here I bought this I spent almost how much I can't remember but this was not a good buy it could have been a good bu if none of these things are here well imagine living in Manchester they have plenty African stor lot of Africans here okay this one is okazi I also brought it from Nigeria why did I bring it I've not used it the time I used it we just came that was not figured out African store and some of this I was even when we use it so if you want to buy these things please see this see see what I've just used from it see I buy three I'm going to throw it in this is not a good B so I'm going to do away with this I'm not taking it to my new house when the house comes it's not a good buy don't even bother doing it I think there's even okazi here they sent
