40 degrees. It felt like a fall football Saturday out there today. So in honor of Mother Nature, it only feels right that we hit the gridiron spring games happening all across Michigan. So let's begin at the home of the Broncos Western Michigan starting quarterback Hayden Wolf. He was out and in a boot today. So it was the backup show in the zoo and it was three gold at half time. But then the action picks up the Brown team gets into the end zone here. A the salam punches it in that makes it 7 to 3 for the Brown team but the gold team quickly answers early in rolling JD Davis, it's Brandon w up the middle he's in for an 18 yard score, make it 9 to 7 gold. The Gold Bronco then add to it. Davis find bugs Mortimer in the back of the end zone. The four yard pitch and catch makes it 23 to 7 but the Brown team gets some brownie points in the final seconds of the salam makes a man miss scurries off for six. The gold team takes it 23 to 14 to cap off in eventful spring, the great thing as a coach with spring games, uh, you know, the Broncos are gonna win. So, uh, there are a lot of things that keep me up at night. Uh, but, uh, the, the winner of this game, uh, did not keep me up last night, but, uh, really proud of the work that our guys have put in. Um, you know, I thought it was an excellent spring. I think we are definitely ahead of last year when we were in the spring. Uh, even with a new scheme on both sides of the ball. And I think that, uh, you know, the sky's the limit for us this year. The Broncos open up the year on the road against Wisconsin before playing Ohio State the next week and that is a brutal start to the season. Now we move.
