actress Molina Alves is speaking out over cheating accusations with Joey Lawrence days after news broke that the actor and his estranged wife Samantha cope have separated after two years of marriage with court documents reviewed by E news accusing Joey of cheating with his co-star Molina the actress now takes to social media to shut down the rumors saying in a statement on Instagram it is with a deep sadness and heavy heart that I must address the recent allegations about the relationship between myself and Joey Lawrence which have unfortunately become a public matter first and foremost I want to clarify that there was no sexual relationship between Joey and myself while we were onet filming soton for Christmas our relationship was a meaningful friendship that developed naturally due to the many similarities in our personal situations in the court documents obtained by E newss an attorney from Alina's ex-husband Edward Ryder alleged Ed in divorce papers filed in New Jersey last month that Joey and Molina quote committed adultery in California as well as quote various other times and places the actress goes on to note in her statement that she and her ex-husband quote have been estranged since January of 2023 and we have been living in separate rooms since that time furthermore I feel compelled to share that my estranged husband has presented situations that necessitated me me to obtain a temporary restraining order this was a difficult and deeply personal decision made solely to protect myself in a time of vulnerability as for Joey his estranged wife Samantha filed to end their 2-year marriage citing quote reconcilable differences as the reason for the split according to court documents she listed the date of Separation as June 7th and asked for each of their rights to spouse's support be terminated in addition Samantha is seeking full physical custody and shared legal custody of their daughter Dylan whom the couple welcomed back in January of 20123 E news has reached out to Lawrence cope and Alva's rep for comment but hasn't yet heard back writer's attorney had no comment when reached out about the allegations [Music]
