"Ulrika Jonsson Breaks Silence on Sven's Death"

Ulrika Jonsson has spoken out on social media in  the wake of Sven-Goran Eriksson's death on Monday. The 76-year-old former England manager lost his  fight with pancreatic cancer on Monday morning. When word leaked about Ulrika's scandalous  romance with fellow Swede Sven, who was then   dating Nany Dell'Olio for a long period,  the story made headlines back in 2002. Ulrika seems to have overlooked the  football manager's passing and instead   posted a message on Instagram  commemorating National Dog Day,   despite Nancy and a number of  celebrities paying their respects to him. The celebrity, who frequently uploads  pictures of her cherished four-legged pals,   posted a close-up of what looked to  be her dog's backside on social media   and wrote that 'every day' was National Dog Day. Ulrika made her statement months after  she called Sven "not a decent person"   after he disclosed that he had a terminal illness. In January, the TV host shared  a short message on Instagram   following the former England manager's  revelation of the heartbreaking news. She said she didn't "have anything to say  about Sven" and called him "not a decent   person" in the text that accompanied the old  photo of her that she posted to her Stories. The post said, "Look at me being all  young and all that," but it has already   been removed. Okay. PSA. Regarding Sven, I have  nothing to say. #nada. Not a good individual. When they relocated to England  for Sven's team manager position,   he had been dating 63-year-old  Italian lawyer Nancy for three years. But he had started an affair with  Ulrika at the beginning of 2002. 'I carried on my hunt for love, halting short  for a fumble between the sheets with a nearly   60-year-old, Sven-Göran Eriksson,' she  wrote later about their brief affair. Do you recall the former manager  of the England football team? "Yeah, but I'm also trying to forget it because,  let's face it, sex was about as exciting as   putting together an IKEA bookcase. That's why  my case for a younger man is so compelling." Sven's girlfriend remained faithful to  him throughout the affair with Ulrika,   but in 2004 he had another affair with Faria Alam,  the Football Association secretary at the time. Given that Faria had previously  had an affair with Mark Palios,   the former CEO of the FA, the  second affair story made headlines. Sven was not married and didn't  hurt anyone when he talked openly   about his affairs in an Amazon Prime  documentary on his life. Despite this,   he maintained that "sex is one of the  good things in life for all of us." As a memory of their brief relationship,   the television presenter and model has  preserved the Coutts check, remarking   that "it might have been nice to fill it out at  some point for all the hassle he brought me." Speaking on August 16, following the release  of a brand-new documentary about his life,   Ulrika described their 16-week romance as "no  great passionate affair." There was no passion   in it. Despite his wealth and influence, he  was the weakest man I had ever encountered. "I don't think he had a romantic  bone in his body," she said,   disclosing that their main conversation topic  when they weren't having sex was football. They had first met in 2002 at a party hosted by  spin doctor Alastair Campbell for Tony Blair,   when the 34-year-old former weather  girl approached him and asked for an   autograph. The 54-year-old Sven responded  in Swedish and requested her phone number. Then, while on vacation with Nancy,  he inundated Ulrika with phone calls   complimenting her on how "beautiful" she was.  They got together and had sex when he got home. After that, they took a covert trip to  Sven's house in Portugal to spend time   together "giggling all the way" when  they were between England matches. They went back home after spending the night  together in the opulent estate west of Lisbon. When I wasn't looking, he slipped a blank Coutts   check into my pocket as we drove to the  airport the next morning. She stated,   "He gave me a blank check that he slipped  into my pocket while I wasn't looking." Ulrika says that Sven left her "high and dry," but   their four-month affair came to an  end when it leaked to the public. Ulrika stated, "She should be grateful for  me raising her profile," in reference to   Nancy. After it made news, Nancy gained  instant notoriety. And she made good use   of that. Without me, she would not  have been on Strictly Come Dancing. "He claims he was terrified to part from  her." Never in my life have I fought for   a man. Although Nancy was clutching to Sven,  it's not like she should have been concerned. "I never asked him to leave her, so  he never promised to," the woman said. It happened when Nancy quickly changed her  poignant message honoring her former after   inadvertently referring to him as her "husband." Nancy referred to the 63-year-old lawyer  as her husband in her poignant message,   despite the fact that they were believed to have  never married during their ten-year relationship. Nancy posted numerous never-before-seen pictures  of the two of them on Instagram. In the caption,   she referred to Sven as her "ex-husband," thought  back on the highs and lows of their relationship,   and emphasized that "love never truly fades." She later modified the post to refer to   Sven as her "ex-partner" after  retracting her earlier remarks.
