was a lot um there's a wacky definitely a wacky weekend here football this was like totally due for like the nickelodeon game just wackiness like that's what it was literally pretty much was pretty right let's uh we're gonna start out with the nfl playoffs if you were living under a rock the past i don't know saturday from about 4 30 to sunday at about 10 01 eastern standard time you probably missed out on maybe the craziest weekend of nfl playoff football in recent memory could you agree on that colton yeah it was definitely a great weekend it was like one that i'm very glad my team wasn't a part because i would have you know had a it's probably a heart attack watching the nonsense going on but i got a little breaking news right now uh the ravens are targeting michigan defense coordinator mike mcdonald as their next defensive coordinator and expect the deal will be done by friday that is correct i saw that uh earlier today on twitter the twitterverse giving me that information see jesus i gotta get to twitter speaking of the devil if people drop in on the stream so i can read it golly um there's golly free but yeah coming back from michigan having a really good season went from baltimore to michigan now dc spot is open and gonna slide right in it looks like because he did a heck of a job at michigan first time they got to the college football playoff you know it's it was a really good season for them and mcdonald was a huge part of it because her defense was a huge standard and again he also had a lot of toys to play with on the defense so it might be the good time to get the heck out of town and go back to baltimore while you have the chance and to go back in the playoffs every every game came down to the last play and it's the first time that's ever happened i believe and any any given sake any given time right now even the craziness of the kansas city chiefs and the buffalo bills game which came down to the last play gabriel davis playoff legend was born four touchdowns 201 yards for him historic game not even jerry rice larry fitzgerald playoff maniacs ever reach defeat like that but a lot of people are a little upset that um josh allen did not get the chance to hold the football kind of go through and give himself a chance to get the football so this kind of goes into the thing here should the nfl go into changing the overtime rules we saw it happen the 2012 playoffs where you know each team had a right to possess the ball if a field goal was kicked ultimately your steelers were a part of it and it was the one and done tim tebow to dt god bless his soul 11 second overtime that was the end of it and now we're here um the chiefs did propose to uh change the role because mahomes didn't get a chance to hold it which led tom brady and the patriots to go to their sixth winning winning their sex super bowl and there is that bills it came up that the bills denied that claim they denied the world change denied all that stuff and now we're here and kind of karma hitch in the face so you're asking the wrong guy because this game shouldn't have even went to overtime if buffalo had like a brain cell um [Music] you know should they change it me personally no because if you most likely get to stop but again i saw the record um in baltimore sorry ryan your ravens were the only one to actually lose winning the toss um you know yeah going back to mcdonald yeah i do think you could be a good fit there for the ravens again knows the organization that's where he was but staying on you know the whole overtime rule yeah i guess you can make the case because the team that always gets the toss wins they they do um one team that didn't was this it was the ravens it was the ravens i saw it was eleven one uh the nfc title game where you know that atrocious uh call on god i don't even know who it was uh chauncey the gardener johnson no the past interference call uh nicole roby-coleman that's the last time that happened that wasn't chauncey gardner johnson see you know these saints these saints and their cornerbacks always just confuse me out here are you sure it wasn't chauncey gardner johnson no no no because that's when the rams like the rams guy absolutely threw the scenes receiver out of the club i'm drawing a blank of who the saints guy was and i just watched it too and then breezed through a uh interception because he got like literally face destroyed we can't we can't say the actual other part of that so you know um totally got me uh right get out of here listen ryan knows his stuff he knows what's going on no no no no no i'm talking about his other nonsense he's got here with him oh yeah tommy lee lewis that's who it was see yeah the first team to lose tebow to dt tebow's most accurate pass of all time next to uh him hitting the ground the entire time hey yo yes tommy lee lewis was the guy that absolutely got destroyed by mikhail roby-coleman and that was the end of it but now should they change it ah god the only way you're gonna change is if you go to college rules honestly um which i guess you could say is the best overtime but oh my goodness see like i'm just exactly talking about play-off games and like you know it kind of messes up like how college is not college the nfl would be like played kind of you'll look at all these stats and like oh my god look at this he threw like 14 touchdowns in a game and like all that stuff yeah well then as soon as you go to overtime you cut the you cut the stats you know like there's no running clock cut the stats yeah it just it goes out colleges it's just overtime and you know you get what 25 yard line the score you get and if you're the nfl you want to push it back to the 35-yard line go for it you know kind of i don't know about the 50 for me for me the fact that this is even brought up like people are all salty about the overtime rule night because the game is that good and i get it you want to see buffalo get the ball because you're going to expect the games to go 80 000 points because that's what it was looking like and over time defenses were gas it was just up and down up and down up and down i mean jesus and the chiefs were really missing uh tyrone matthew i don't see i don't think he would have made much of a difference i don't think he's as he's kind of like the glue for that second yeah he really solidifies it all and what's happening they've been getting burnt toast all they've been getting burnt all season so for me it's not really that much of a difference because look what jamar chase and them did a few weeks back so they blew him up and matthew was in the secondary so um i i don't think that really had anything to do with it i know people can't see people ah i would have been that close if matthew played now he's still like one of the more overrated safeties in the game in my opinion um he's very good but i still think he's one of the most overrated like he's very good but their defense still blows and they're getting absolutely wood up every weekend and you're gonna see it again this weekend so jamar chase and boro should put on a show going to mr hackett appreciate you hack always uh dropping comments you were always on twitter you finally said let me get my comments up go to youtube and you get it on here um there is one thing like you know people are like nothing josh allen could have done he could have called heads on the coin toss no see he could have see no i don't care i don't care no see now you're gonna make me go off from buffalo we're gonna the nfl should change the overtime role i think it's just playoffs just change over playoffs okay like you have the nhl that has their nhl threes for five minutes and then they go into the shootout and all that stuff you have you know overtime playoff losses all like overtime losses all that kind of garbage and stuff like that i think you change it for the postseason postseason is perfect to change it for you get everything you kind of want from everyone you want to see everyone have fun essentially everyone made the whole deal that you know we didn't see mahomes in the afc title game which i quote the jc jackson game because it felt like jc jackson was getting called every single play on that defense now you shift it to this you want to see josh allen change it for the playoffs give it you know i say from the 50 because you know nfl teams are you know it's a much faster game than i think colleges i mean and nfl kickers too and nfl kickers are so they're so accurate too you you know it's just like a guarantee from 50 unless you know matt gay he somehow missed it from 47 he was short yeah that's all that's a whole different discussion on that that was right that was like by the way that was the other day good next they're like they're like like what and then they and then like the little like nbc bar in the top left short because they always say he could have made it from six to one from sure i'm like what he missed and he made the pro bowl that was crazy but you know change it for change the playoff overtime rules go from the 50. each team has a chance match the score beat the score whatever you want to do don't go to college where it's like here we can only do two point conversions no that's stupid okay i want to see texas a m and lsu go for like you know 77 to 72 some ridiculous score like that i want to see some like bloodbath going on i want to see these scores run up to like a hundred percent so you so you want rams chiefs all over again where it's held down twice the thing is how do you lose the game with 13 seconds left dude i'd be more pissed if i'm a buffalo fan not because of the overtime rule because my defense pointed like they were winning by a touchdown they were winning by a field goal you would allow kansas city 40 yards of space what are you doing see if this was the stairs i'd be out of work for the next like two days i told you this i told you he called me he called me monday at 10 a.m and he's like going on this like ran i i was i was loving every single second of it it's just why are we doing this nonsense with 13 seconds and giving them 40 yards of cushion to get down the field to kick a field goal so buffalo deserves to lose so this don't even run to overtime first of all kick the ball and make him return it squid it if they bring it to the 35 so what it's burning 44 seconds at least just play come on man like simple just think about that absolute nonsense buff will deserved to lose even though i was rooting hard for them to win because i love josh allen if you've listened to our show go down on the bills not scotland's colton second team he said if he the steelers never existed he'd be a buffalo goal for harrison bucker wit you know drive it into overtime and then progress into you know ultimately winning the game at the end colton sent me the thing with uh what travis kelsey and all them uh yeah fitzpatrick and tannehill game winning drives under 20 seconds to go uh back to back weeks crazy stuff oh good times i missed 2020 that that was that was the i love all these comments so drop it i love the cops then we want to you know if you want to you know make us mad then drop a comment that makes matt out i don't know yeah where the hell is that person that kept pissing me off oh little that's nonsense by buffalo playing that off it's just i don't know man this is a bad look um there's just so much that's like been going down it looks like dylan's agreeing looks like dylan's agreeing what you said changing the format for the playoffs just the playoffs just playing not just the playoffs why just the playoffs because here listen pies in the nfl so well there's no time in the playoffs there's no ties in the playoff anyway but no that's not my point you're saying well there's no ties in the playoff okay we saw joe flacco go in the double overtime and uh what denver they hold jacobi forward catch there there's been double double overtime stuff like it's not like we can't go see this stuff that's not my point though if you're gonna switch it why'd you switch it for the playoffs keep it the whole way that's like saying it's like saying the nhl is like oh hey for the nhl you know instead of doing nhl threes for a five minute overtime period see if you know if you could score before you know go into a shootout go back to 20-minute overtime regulation like that's kind of dumb listen make it more entertaining okay i'm i'm not a fan of the 10-minute overtime but you know it is what it is i like 15-minute overtimes so why don't you just convert back 15-minute overtimes because there's nothing wrong with that i feel like the entire i feel like you know whoever gets the ball first in overtime is just draining the clock so you have zero time to do anything last example you know go back to week 17 every match we're going to talk about later on the rams and the 49ers you know the 49ers drain that entire clock out just to kick a field goal which you know put stafford and company in a very tight situation just i think playoffs absolutely perfect go in for there make it make it in absolute wild okay so you know also for overtime in nfl regular season went unlimited players see that see that's hard you can't you can't what are you saying like having like not a certain number of players on the field either it's like 53 or whatever for game day are you saying like having whatever like 60 yeah you can't do that nfl no for this proclaim like nfl sevens okay just have seven players on there have it like how the yard is on madden even though madden's absolutely atrocious i hate it that's why i've been playing older ones but have it like the yard go just go crazy with it you know have seven on sevens you know just stuff like that say joe you're a funny guy yeah jets automatically bowl see listen listen we've seen crazier see so like oh my gosh steelers got him the steelers got him because of the tie are you not thankful for that yeah again it has its good things the good side of a tie and a bad side of a tie it's like the nfl shouldn't have ties though it's kind of like weird that the nfl has ties like there's no ties in hockey there's no ties in basketball there's only ties and there's no ties in baseball there's only ties in football the only sport with the tie see the other football has drawls in it but when they're meaningful games the the tie is gone that's why you're a fan of everton the bum just a bum organization yeah you screw it the game's over now they can just kick a field goal and win it no unless it's a pick six in college um but if you get a pick in college over time it's not taken to the house you can get to stop yourself and and go to another round of overtime so it's i wouldn't say that at all i think it's it makes it more interesting and i think that's kind of the way you have to go i'll make a j i legends right there let's go into the other big news here tom brady and aaron rodgers both losing the same weekend everyone thought was a surefire that on paper should have been brady vs rogers nfc title game when it goes to the super bowl second year in a row aaron rodgers i worked with a packers fan on saturday and he said that that opening drive for the packers was probably the best opening drive that they've ever had it was so methodical e balanced running and passing shout out to dustin but and then ultimately no points were scored there for the rest of the game uh aaron rodgers was quietly held out shut out if you want to look at it like that and aaron rodgers walks into a dark uh green bay tunnel and that might have been the end of it for green bay tom brady on the other hand 24 point comeback everyone thought oh my god brady's gonna do this and then todd bowles calls the infamous cover zero cooper cup over antoine winfield junior's hands and matt gay walks off the game-winning field goal is this the end of what we're seeing with uh mr brady and mr uh as i'm trying to find this stuff right now is this the end for brady and rogers potentially uh brady i can actually see it being the end um he it made it sound like he was uh going it's very weird because a guy like him you know seeing ben get to send off you know as ben deserves in pittsburgh that's what was so weird about you know brady going tampa dude i can only imagine what that would have been like a send-off for brady in new england like it just a guy that's good and like dude he's the best pains me to see you know nfl without brady because i'm always used to him just smacking the jets and then the jets just get that one win out of nowhere and everyone's like up we're going to the super bowl going to the super bowl we're paraded we're parading just oh no oh my god there's there's david there's david with the nonsense i'm shocked there it is took you long enough dave to say a meme none of that's happening he's going to pittsburgh denver those are the only teams i can see happening miami is another interesting one but like you know you see how much the gm loves to us so that's annoys me though when i hear stuff with the broncos and it's not even like i'm being a homer with the steelers why would br why would roger sign up to go play against mahomes herbert and derek carr in his division why would he sign up for that i think i think derek carr leaves not and denver's not even as talented as pittsburgh stop with the receiver stop it jerry judy's good i haven't seen anything absolutely insane but jerry jude it's like ha same time he hasn't played with any top tier quarterback i'll give him that but like stop it dante dropson's played with freaking ben at the on the decline of his career stop it chase claypool is not used correctly in pittsburgh you bringing a guy rogers is going to get it to him in multiple ways and then just throwing 30 yard bombs to him stop it steerers definitely head and shoulders above the broncos with teams in their division and with their weapons offensively you got a young tight end and pat farmer who took the lead by storm of like own the ravens when omar has been there even wendell moore won his mvp steward's defense shut him out like the steers defense was like made for lamar for some reason i'm not worried about cleveland i said it in our afc north pre show in the start of the season that cleveland had expectations he had to do where cleveland finished uh okay yeah okay that's what i thought every time yes lombardi all the way back up in minnesota he brought it home and hey we hope nothing but the best for him moving forward great career to mr brandon brooks the game will miss you always like what do you know did he blow out his achilles to start the season what happened that he did he had a lower body injury i'm gonna go hockey here because i don't remember it i think he he's had injuries to every single part of his body i feel like and it's just been all over the place with him they built that one and won a super bowl off of it so you know that's that's what no nick foles won the super bowl i hate you nick foles won the super bowl okay let's review the wacky crazy i did say the show is going to be wacky dude i i i'm already like gassed out i'm already like tired of just yelling at selling off on them they're all done yeah you bring back derrick henry you bring back your force your first play throw an interception that kind of capped off the whole situation for the titans but nine sacks later there's a chance there's a chance tannehill throws another costly interception off of uh westbrook's hands and jamar chase catches the ball and kick fearson the quote of the century kick fearsome okay number one selling jersey for cincinnati sold out everywhere you cannot find them and there they go the bengals go to the first conference title game all the way back since they went last one to the super bowl against the niners so there's a lot of potential for some rematches going into uh super bowl sunday as you know ravens beat the titans last three times in nashville in the playoffs unfortunately there nelson aguilera won the super bowl yes yes it wasn't on nick foles it was a mr nelson aguilar 1960 was the final here any thoughts of you know yeah talk for the head of tana hill tannehill's bad like that's the problem when you don't have a top-tier quarterback in the nfl just what happens like i was getting to some arguments with people oh tanner's good enough no no he's not you get derek henry back in the first play you try thinking everyone and throwing a pass and you have thought yourself and you screwed yourself so hats off to their defense were playing better than expected their defense has always been good like this whole season they were very good the titans but like seriously when you think about number one seeds i was hoping to brighten the titans lost i was like oh god please lose please lose so we can go to uh kansas city what candidacy to get the one seed and you know what if we beat the titans we go to kansas city and lose wonderful you know like ben you know it is what it is stop it they like wow what are the titans going to draft can he pick it like the problem is there's not enough this isn't a deep quarterback draft so they're just going to waste a first round pick on a quarterback i don't know what tennis these problems are they're screwed though like now they are screwed with tana hill good luck tennessee this is what you get 40 and the real problem in the nfl is coming and is that number four seed and is the cincinnati bengals this was supposed to be a rebuild season for the bengals everyone wrote them off we did yeah we wrote them off we'll admit it with around the four one two you can listen to their great podcast on spotify or wherever you want hockey sports football baseball doesn't even matter anything in pittsburgh you can listen to them and we all wrote them off we said zach taylor's going to get canned after the year that's just kind of how it's going to be they're going to figure out their next guy and now zach taylor is a game away from the dance the big dance election it's it's an interesting team it's just they they have their rookie kicker who's have fun everyone once you find a kicker you're like good and like now they have one for the next like he's tied uh the bengals franchise wrecker for 50-plus yard field goals he's a rookie great like he's a rookie and this team is like fourth most in capped next season like good luck everyone you know sadly i'm a superfan so i get to deal with these clowns you know but uh yeah yeah the bangles are legit so good luck everyone 49ers packers uh green bay drives down the field methodically scores in the first drive and ultimately rashawn gary channels his interclay matthews was a used for a headline uh during the week and it looked like the packers were winning it and then a block kick comes at the end of the first half kind of feels like a shifting has changed uh no receivers were wanted to catch for uh the 49ers for the first uh what 21 minutes of the football game felt like 25 yeah no one wanted to catch for the 49ers not even george kettle george kettle comes out makes a great one-handed catch before uh half well six minutes 20 seconds left but who really cares about that second half whole different story one of the best postseason kickers robbie gould mr perfect good as gould and there it goes blocked pun special teams in the packers were the weakness it wasn't rogers falling it wasn't the defense falling it was the special teams of the 40 of the green bay packers collapsing willis uh gets the block for them five minutes left to go and that was the end of it snowy lambo that's how they won it roger said if they came up the lambo they're gonna have a very tough time and couldn't stop them 49ers win 13-10 a very low scoring game and maybe it was the last dance as was uh projected going into the season yeah um i wasn't impressed with green bay's offense you know a big shout out to the 49ers defense and they kept them in that game uh like both defenses played well too i just don't love the secondary for the 49ers so i was expecting that that's why that's why that's why the front seven's so good and it also hurt too that back to yari wasn't playing for the packers but he didn't play he only played one game this year and he didn't play because of a discomfort in his knee so he's still kind of like working it back so he's gonna be back next year fully healthy depending on who's who he's blocking for week one i mean that's gonna be the question for green bay but uh it's that what's that called this one you call it the front seven i i i've been calling it i said the 49ers if they're in the postseason they're a scary team and you're gonna have to watch out for them and they are a very scary team well i knew they were a scary team i just didn't expect them to beat green bay to be honest with you i didn't jimmy g's never played in anything under 40. mind you this was like negative temperatures with the windshield yeah it was like um 14 at kickoff wind chill at kickoff was a goose egg and it got colder and the snow started falling i didn't think it was gonna snow but there we were watching a snow-covered green bay and that's how it ended just like your franchise your franchise from 1992 so when farf came in 1992 1991 i don't even know when he when he got traded out of uh atlanta you go in from there you draft rogers in 2005 you have rogers all the way till then you have 30 years of successful quarterbacks you have two super bowls to show from it two of the most successful quarterbacks in all sports this is this is my point wow you have two super bowls to show yeah but this is my point going back to day one of the season before any of the talking heads started saying rogers to pittsburgh rogers or whatever so it's kind of been rumored around because the way he handled the offseason last year they pissed him off drafting jordan love where they could have used that on another receiver i don't know what that draft class was i forget why you drafted was that that draft class i think was there oh my god it was iu glovissa michael pittman and then who are the top guys in that draft they were like judy was that no was that cd lamb in those guys was that that draft no i think wasn't that draft was it no i think cd lam yeah cd lam was definitely 20 20. but so it might have been um uh what's his name you just said oh god i just already forgot so anyway this is this is why what's his name wanted out of town this is why rogers is pissed that's why i talked called before the talking heads there it's yeah yes that was the t hagan's draft yes so they could have had i mean another legit receiver there was five receivers they could have gotten right there there was another receiver that could have paired up with what's his name with uh devante adams and they chose to take jordan love and then they chose to take a.j dylan agent doane's very good but they already have aaron jones like it's not like jones misses time jones doesn't miss time he's wow this year ironically yeah he missed two games this year but yeah this is why he wants out green bay is very weird and again they're smart because they draft ahead on like pittsburgh here looking for a quarterback green bay does think ahead and try to get ahead of the game they did it with rogers and favre clearly um but yeah i just i don't like the way green bay handled the rogers situation not getting another weapon and this is what happens and again ryan's adding on the guy's pump full of information yeah make sure you check out his show along with the rest at u stadium but yeah it's just green bay's boston that's what they get you know this is why they made the deal with the devil with rogers in the offseason here where it's like all right well we'll do what you want we'll trade you where you want to go if that's what you want to do and we'll see what happens with him and what the compensation green bay gets back but good luck you got jordan love when you had a guy that's gonna probably win back-to-back mvps and you could just retire after i mean who knows that i think remotely might be the case for him you know he might end up retiring but just you blew an opportunity you didn't go out and draft like trade for any receivers i mean brandon cooks was available this season gonna go out and get him um will forward last year i know he ended up getting his pd situation and that didn't help that anyway but there was just a bunch of stuff and the green bay packers have not done anything they just sat on their hands and all right man you know what you got buddy so you know yeah you're bringing rental cobb like i don't know man green bay gets what they deserve and this is what they get first uh first round exit for them so good job blowing the one seed and i said it going into the puffs i mean we both did we both called the upset first round for the san don't know what happened the the first half second half completely different story it looked like it was all for done for brady everyone's like up there's comeback coming i i don't know about you but i felt the comeback was coming i'm like brady's coming back he's not going now he's coming back he's coming back i'm like there's no way he's going and then you know they score they're scoring and the mac game misses a a chip shot at 47 yards short and mike evans down the field playoff lenny comes in stampeding his way into the end zone we gotta tie a ball game most come most points scored will come back since you know the atlanta falcons super bowl blowing right there and then cover zero with antoine winfield cannot cover cooper cup uh one on one ultimately cooper cub goes down matt gay gets uh chip shot field goal makes this one and now the rams got out by the skin of their teeth going into another nfc title game uh what what second one in three years you might be right yeah second one and nah has it been three years damn okay well three years it is three four years something like that ryan will probably give us uh yeah quote there but and now this could have been tom brady's last game as a buccaneer potentially as a nfl quarterback who knows what's gonna happen with them if he's gonna be drinking more avocado tequila who knows what's gonna be happening but this was a game and i thought no one could top this game honestly i'm like wow this game really had it all i don't think it could be topped really couldn't yeah me and my buddies were talking about it when we were watching it and it was like they were like oh this game is kind of good i'm like no it wasn't this game is awful and then all of a sudden it turned down the switch i'm like all right now it's a good game and now we got what we wanted and brady came back and uh gosh the weakness of the bucks was the secondary and yeah they left them out to dry he hung them out to dry and they got what they deserved in the end bad play calling that's what you get you hang your secondary at the drive with the best receiver in football this season and he made you pay you know and hats off to odell dell's made a huge impact for the rams ultimately you know his contract fell apart in uh the whole bitcoin collapse but he's been playing really good ever since he's like learned the playbook ever since that game in green bay he's really he's really came coming though his own he's been playing some of his best football six touchdowns in what seven games some ridiculous like that and he had like six touchdowns in like 30-something games started in cleveland oh belle obel oh well let's go into this game right now the buffalo bills the kansas city chiefs i said no one could top this game and offense was this entire game defensive win championships no this was an offensive bloodbath going into this game exchanging blows exchanging scores leads who you name it the bill this is the best game i saw the bills use their running backs is that crazy to say i felt like they knew how to use their running backs for some uh somewhat of a game well it was it started off using singletary really well and then all of a sudden turned into yeah josh allen's really good with his legs we're going to use him and i'm going to let him just make sure you sling it all over all over the place absolutely
