Welcome back to our recap of the Democratic National Convention in Chicago, Illinois.
This evening, we have presented speeches from Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro, two
former first ladies, two former US Presidents, Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg,
and the Democratic Vice President nominee and current Minnesota Governor, Tim Walz.
Of particular interest and concern in this year's electoral process is that the blueprint for what
a GOP administration would look like has already been unveiled in the form of Project 2025. Despite
Donald Trump s disavowal of Project 2025, his own manifesto, Agenda 47 is in many ways a carbon
copy of the work from the Heritage Foundation. While Kenan Thompson s lighthearted approach
to Project 2025 may seem out-of-step for the seriousness of the document, he is concerned
about what the impact of such plans could be, if enacted. First, we'll give a listen to
his remarks about the conservative manifesto, and then the hour we have all awaited,
the acceptance speech from Kamala Harris, the Democratic Party s nominee for
President of the United States.
