one of the great games is the Ravens playing on the road against the world champion Kansas City Chiefs this will be the only game where you have two coaches Super Bowl winning champions John Harbaugh of the Ravens Andy Reid of the Chiefs that means a lot as an ex coach you know these Super Bowl winning coach they're walking out there in Pre pregame warmup both teams will be ready to go I spent a five or six days with the Chiefs in training camp and I got to spend a little bit of time with coach haror and Todd monin of the Ravens these guys are legit man so the coaching part of this is going to be fun to watch but starting with the Baltimore Ravens they lost to the Chiefs last year in the playoffs their season eliminated crushing defeat at home think about that you get the whole off seon to get your freaking mind right to avenge that defeat and you get to do it in the opening game so this there's a lot of emotions going on here I will say this Lamar Jackson exciting dazzling we all know that I want you to keep an eye on this he's going to do more at the line of scrimmage this year than he's ever done before they're going to let him I think have free reign to change some plays use a little recognition communication they're going to let him play that game a little bit as well so I think Lamar is going to continue to get better and better because of Todd Mon and the offensive coordinator they're working together now and their second year so keep an eye on that the other thing is they got Derek freaking Henry good luck tackling this guy I used to look at our safeties Derrik Henry let's say you're an unblocked safety and you're in the hole and you got nobody blocking you you just got to tackle Derrick Henry you want that job you ain't gonna sign up for that Derk Henry in this Zone read let's just say you're the defensive in and a tackle blocks down and Lamar Jackson sticks the ball in Derrik Henry's chest are if you chase Derk Henry Lamar keeps it if he keeps it who the hell stops Henry so that combination of Derk Henry going one way and Lamar Jackson going the other way good God I wouldn't want to be a part of that new defensive coordinator in Baltimore or o RR McDonald the former DC now is a head coach of the Seahawks be interesting to see how he handles Andy Reid and Pat Mahomes in his first ever game calling defenses that'll be exciting to watch but I love the Ravens defense over the years the history under Harbaugh magnificent and roquan Smith if you can just take one or two plays and watch nothing but roquan Smith you'll be glad you did this guy's a hell of a player and if it comes right down to it the Ravens have a kicker he's like an assassin I mean all he needs is one bullet he'll put you away Tucker can end games with his foot you know that now with the Kansas City Chiefs there's a reason why you're the defending world champions in this modern era of football it all starts with Andy Reid and Pat Mahomes this combination is almost impossible to deal with very creative mind and the Playbook I thought I had a thick Playbook Andy Read's Playbook wouldn't fit in the ffca I'd have to get a freaking wheelbarrow to get the thing in here and they can call any Play From Any formation at any time like that that's what makes them very unique I do love the general manager of the Chiefs because he somehow some way has helped keep this group together I know they lost Sneed a very good corner to the Titans but all the coaches came back Spagnola Andy Heck the o line coach Dave Tob the special teams coach they're all back and the whole team is back they got Chris Jones resigned they've got a lot of good returning players and it really starts at the top with Reed and V now Pat Mahomes say whatever you want he can do it all I saw him on the practice field and then he did it in the preseason he competed completed a pass behind his back now I wanted to go out and punch him for doing that that's just not fair I mean he completes him left-handed behind his back under his legs the guy has a dazzling magician playing quarterback to see him and Lamar Jackson I wish they played a double header if I was the commissioner of the league I would say they're playing back-to-back double headers because I want to see these two guys go after each other twice the Chiefs have added speed and I call it juice Maris Brown comes over from Arizona he did have a thousand yard season by the way he can smoke it man but they got a guy named worthy out of Texas that can run 421 fastest time in the history of Indianapolis and trust me number 15 can't wait to launch it so we better make sure we stay back on defense Chris Jones arguably the number one force rushing the passer and he'll have some guys to go after the problem with Jones I think in this game is can you really cut it Loose against Lamar Jackson because if you rush past them you're never going to see Lamar again so they're going to have to use a little bit different rushing style to make sure they contain Lamar Jackson the biggest concern with the Chiefs is do they have enough depth at corner they lost Sneed I love McDuffy and I say I love guys a lot and I mean it I love Trent McDuffy love them as a nickel as an outside corner but do they have enough to hold up against flowers Andrews Nelson agalar and the weapons that the Ravens have this is going to be one hell of a knockdown fight and the Ravens have Tucker the Chiefs have Harrison bucker that guy made five field goals against Miami and it was colder than a witch's ass and he made them all this is a tough one but I only need 4.21 seconds the time worthy ran that 40 at at the combine to figure this out I'm going with the Chiefs at home it's going to be a tight game but Reed buter Mahomes hard to beat you know those Chief fans too they're going to start tailgating tomorrow night that's what you do to get yourself ready drive me crazy I mean it's so freaking loud in that place
