yo what's happening my people so it's your boy chance J AKA smooth back with another video so today I had to watch this film man I seen yesterday on social media everybody in their mama was talking about the Deliverance they posting the picture and stuff Lee Daniel's new movie this is so good wow wow then people just telling me I want your opinion on it and stuff I'm like let me check this out man so I made a point to check this out today just finished watching it so this is the Deliverance Lee Daniels new film the first thing that popped into my head I'm like the budget had to be pretty good because the cast they got Andrew day Glen Close Caleb mofin from stranger things Mo'Nique uh Demi Singleton from King Richard and uh Godfather Harlem she been a lot of things uh Omar eps on Jan Ellis Taylor from Lovecraft country and uh recently she just did other The Supremes uh Tasha Smith is in here it says Octavia Spencer but I I didn't see in here I must have turn my head or something she must have did a quick Cameo if she wasn't here but I don't think she was but anyways so this right here it is a horror film and the first half of it you don't see too much Supernatural type things it's this F family this family they move in this house and like child services and stuff they be coming in like you got to do better with these kids and look where they living and stuff the house was nice it was a big ass house so I'm like the house wasn't terrible but the mother she drunk a lot her her mother lived in the house with him that's Glen Close so Glen Close played she played her role good as hell man like to say she got all these Oscar nominations and won all these Awards and to see her in a Lee Daniels film and she has a black family like all her family and she loves black men and she gets dogged up like she got the the single single white mother with black kids hair cut on here and stuff where it's wegs on this film but uh it she played this role like she she up there sitting down and she she putting her putting the sew in in her daughter's hair and stuff like she is in the hood experience like I thought that was dope like just the role she played in here but Andre day is is a alcoholic on this film man uh her kids they have a hard time adjusting to their new crib and things start to take a turn as soon as they kind of move in man like they having a lot of trouble in school like you see the kids have a lot of bruises and things and you like she must be a real bad parent she must be tearing their ass up and stuff but then as you watch it like you see the the kids start doing things on their own like just sleepwalking at night doing crazy things banging their heads and stuff so the Mother wasn't the greatest mother in the world but the kids were doing a lot of things it turns out to be very demonic and stuff there was a woman Anan Ellis Taylor her character from from Lovecraft country and stuff like she's watching the family and later on we see what her role is but it ends up being like one of those uh Exorcist type films like Conjuring type one of those so it is very much in that vein or like uh them season one was it them or was it was it us I forgot the name cuz they had them season so it must have been them season one but anyways it was very much in that vein of film like the the family lose their minds and it's like is the family crazy or is something provoking them is there a demonic entity or something so it is very triggering this film right here man I thought it was it was put together good man like it doesn't look cheap at all that the cast is spectacular the I I'm not a big horror movie buff they all seem the same to me but like just the quality of the film I would say is is good man and you do get invested and like as far as like scariness to it like if you like a real harder person and you want to jump or something it doesn't have any of that like it wasn't any any moments where I'm like oh man I got to watch a cartoon after this so I won't have a nightmare or it's it's nothing like in that vein like a like C the original Candy Man or something like I won't watch that [ __ ] today like it might not even be scary now but the time I watched it that [ __ ] was scary I ain't watching that [ __ ] no more or the first Conjuring I watched that in the movies oh I jumped in the movies hey that [ __ ] was hey they Ain had none of that in here but it was it was good though they they did the damn thing like the people they took their job serious seriously they committed to their roles and they executed I'm not going to say like the writing was the best in the world and all that but the actors they knocked it out the par but overall man I would give this film like I'll give it like a seven out of 10 I would definitely tell you to watch it man if you into this or if you leite Daniels film it's nice to see Lee Daniels and Mo'Nique get back together and Mo'Nique she she still got it she she has a little funny parts on here even though it's a serious film but man it it's worth watching but like the the online and stuff like wow it wasn't wow but it was cool so man if y'all take my my uh opinion
