how fun was the opening dance scene were y'all one take wonders with that or how long did that take it was it's so good you're laughing I loved it he knew every single step worked so hard he was so prepared anything feels it must Beal must be do you still know the step which I would never have predicted I was disappointed was anymore you thought I should have been in it more I thought we should have been in it more right you know I felt like cuz I I had it down you know we wouldn't be in it more so meanwhile he's like I want the camera on my Sol you don't remember any of those now she does this very kind of graceful like half like marking you know uh uh like come on Nicole Let It Go and then the arms go up G I'm very G you're channeling your G and then the arm been like of course you were [Music] character I don't think I ever fully learned it I have this weird thing where I actually just cannot retain choreography it's like same it's like a my Everest so I was actually really nervous about it I love you for that because if you say 5 six S8 I'm still on I have no idea left right no idea okay so you and I are in the back of the line dancing totally but also Nicole did a little bit of that like sorry to blow up her she did like a little like we got our arms those aren't the moves a little bit what's going above the head too or no I swear I saw Nicole doing above Greer yeah let loose a little she just brought her own flare her own sort of spice to it we've all been under a considerable amount of [Music] stress because of the accident [Music] it's such a shock and we're all very upset any comment on the body that was found on your prop your wife a suspect I have three words to start this off oh my gosh good was that your reaction too going through the script we were like let's let's go play what I it was certainly my reaction when I saw the finished product okay yeah yeah I was so impressed with how it came together it was so good and you two my goodness the dynamic to I know well you you two go back years so when you find out you are each other's Mr and M what was your first reaction because I imagine it would be nice to have that short hand in that no I had to beg him to marry me I heard a story that you asked Naomi first if it was okay of course isn't that isn't that amazing that's so sweet yeah that's how close they are yeah we've known each other for years and I've wanted to do to have a couple of ideas about things over the years that I really wanted to do with Nicole so the minute she called and said do you want to do this I was like well yeah no you weren't okay you're I was I was nervous about the part I was nervous about the part I was nervous about the piece I loved the scripts I loved how after the end of every script you were dying to see the next one or dying to know what happened why were you nervous though cuz he's always nervous am I allowed to answer for you yeah you can answer for me this is this is the Mr Mrs on screen coming she thinks I'm nurotic no I she think something wrong you just you you needed to be chased I needed to know that what we were doing was what we were doing yeah and after talking to Nicole and Susanna doesn't he have the best voice just keep talking personality getting a sense of this thing this thing about American aristocracy and how Darkly comic it was going to be which was really important to me uh and once we started to talk about ways of getting inside that and and things that we could do to access some of the more delightful and perverse aspects of this community than I was sold tag is a whole mood that's what I keep saying he's just he's like this tag we're obsessed with tag yes we are and Greer too is just this fascinating character who I imagine you could relate to in a sense too with she's this well well well well let me back up there just having that life in the public eye and having eyes on you at all times was that something when you originally saw you're like oh I get it I get it I think I liked the idea of it being funny and I liked being the mother of these three boys and they were all really interesting characters and in the hands of Susanna baia that was where and I kept saying to Lea who hadn't worked with Susanna I said you're going to love her cuz she cuz she gets it she's Danish but she gets the the tone which is what did you call it perverse and like like black comedy like but like real like you know just an inch away from satire so wild and out there but still in the notch of credibility right and you guys pulled it off so well of course this series the book is so beloved by fans was there one thing that you knew going into this you really wanted to nail well Ellen had given us C blunch she was like listen here's the book you go make the show so that I want to watch the show that was her that was basically her directive she said I don't know how to make TV so I'm going to go I know how to write a novel and now I'm going to say you take that go make it delicious and make it that so that I want to see it right I think the page turning aspect the page Turner aspect of it the the thing that keeps you hooked the thing you can't let go for this format you know six episodes to leave every episode leave them starving for more and I think that's in the book you feel it a little bit I watched all six in one sitting really you don't want to stop so you know what happen I do know what happens which we will not spoil anything Susanna encouraged improvisation which I think was a really great it was certainly fun for us yes be in that situation where you're sort of making room for each other and you're pivoting off of each other and it's one of those things where you where character develops as you go like it it gets bigger and better as you go and that was a that was a lot of fun this of course is a murder mystery it is set in a Beachside Town it is giving big little lies if something weever to give big little eyes can this tie us over until we get season three of big little eyeses I hope so okay okay are we working on it we are we are yay okay so there yes we are absolutely it is emotion so there's a script this gives us a little taste it ties us over until then you big big little ice fan absolutely
