The heat hits record levels. Today we hit the fourth highest temperature in city history. Weather chief Bill Taylor is here to explain, Bill. Incredibly. He's 108 on the thermometer at 320 this afternoon. So back in 1986 we hit 108 it was the all time record high until the year 2000 Labor Day. We hit 109. Then the next day we hit 111 that was September 5th in the year 2000. So today we hit 108. That's why it's the fourth time we've been this hot in city history. Well, recorded history. Let's take a look at live numbers right now. Still very, very hot lackland 107, Stinson 107106. Now at San Antonio International as well as Randolph, look at New Braunfels 108 Pleasanton. Still at that number as well. Put a few more counties on this map and out West Del Rio is still cooking at 110 Pier, Sal and Cotulla are there as well. So keep in mind that an excessive heat warning continues in through nine pm tonight. And then it all takes over with the heat advisory for tomorrow. Please remember project cool. Where you drop off a brand new box fan at any San Antonio fire station. Let's help keep San Antonio Zone cool this summer.
