Intro nous speaking of KLA Harris not uh even paying lip service to making any changes much less making the changes here she is telling Dana Bash what she would do about Israel President Biden has tried Kamala DOUBLES DOWN on support for Israel unsuccessfully uh to end the war between Israel and Hamas in Gaza okay first of all as if he's tried uh and also anyone saying Israel and Hamas is a joke the idea that this is Israel targeting an organization a terrorist organization as they would call it which is if you want to do that fine but make sure you say a much larger terrorist government is trying to uh Target they're not we know this this is a war on on the people Palestine anyway he been doing it for months and months along with you would you do anything differently for example would you withhold some Us weapons shipments to Israel that's what a lot of people on the Progressive left want you to do let me be very clear I am unequivocal and and unwavering in my commitment Israel's defense and its ability to defend itself and that's not going to change but let's take a step back October 7 1,200 people were massacred many young people who were simply attending a music festival women were horribly raped raped as I said then I say today Israel had a right has a right to defend itself we would and how it does so matters far too many innocent Palestinians have been killed and we have got to get a deal done we we were in Doha we have to get a deal done this war must end and we must get a deal that is about getting the h hostes out I've met with the families of the American hostages let's get the hostages out let's get the ceasefire done but no change in policy in terms of arms and and so forth no I we have to get a deal done D Dana we have to get a deal done when you look at the significance of this to the families to the people who are living in that region um it a deal is not only the right thing to do to end this war but will unlock so much of what must happen next I remain committed since I've been on October 8th to what we must do to work toward a two-state solution where Israel is secure and in equal measure the pal Palestinians have security and self-determination and and dignity the two-state solution that Israel has said is not going to happen like explicitly we've known it wasn't going to happen but they've explicitly said that yeah so there's KLA Harris not even feeling pressure to pretend to have any difference with Joe Biden listen I mean I was in Dearborn uh about a month ago speaking with folks that's when B little bit after Biden dropped out um I got news for you they're not voting for her I can't speak for all arab-americans but I talked to a lot of people and uh one woman said it best uh your sympathy doesn't stop the bombs um and I also think that I tell my Following Kamala's donors audience and I I think we should just be honest people could call call it anti-semitic if they want I happen to be Jewish so I am I'm feel very very easy saying this follow the donors uh you know Biden's top donors and now Harris's top donors Jeffrey kenberg is like the co-chair of this campaign his net worth is just under a billion dollars Ardent Zionist uh not only is he donating heavily to Harris he is raising tens of millions if not more from other rich people Heim Saban worth $3 billion uh I think he's the top donor to the Democrats if if I'm not mistaken dating back to Bill Clinton Hillary he's given Pelosi all of them congress senate uh many years ago I think it was 2018 uh when the LA the last time Israel was uh bombing Gaza not to this degree uh a couple Democratic senators kind of said something tepid uh uh you know Pro Palestinian and he came down on them they just happened to be taking his money and they quickly reversed uh the five minute pause that Biden did when he was still running I'm going to pause weapons uh Heim Saban uh again net worth3 billion dollar um sent a nasty letter to Biden's top AIDS and Biden quickly reversed that this is whose funding Harris's campaign uh there's a lot of other and it's not just Jewish donors there's a lot of donors that are not Jewish that are just zionists and very ardently pro-israel but there's also a lot of top donors that are very very wealthy I mean look when Sheldon Adon was alive Republicans went to kiss his ring first the casino the rich casino Guy The New York Times had a story uh two weeks ago that his wife now uh is gonna GNA put in a hundred million dollar and by the way that's why Trump moved the embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem because Sheldon Adon when he was alive gave Trump $30 million so bottom line I mean the media The money always comes first can you know cheer on her crocodile tears are a little better than Biden's but she's not going to do anything because the money comes first they believe they need to out raise uh Trump I believe that's kind of Fool's Gold Hillary Clinton in 2016 outs spent Trump two to one uh it it's not the money is not and once the good vibes from the convention dissipate which I believe they already are it's not just Arab Americans I mean we've seen from the protest a whole young a whole younger generation I would say age 18 to 35 before October 7th they were already uh softening on Biden fleeing because of inflation because of the student debt climate what's your response to that counterargument the donor class would abandon her and APAC would would eviscerate her well first off you're not The response to AIPAC and the donor class's influence on the dems running for president of the United States you're running for president of Six States because the Electoral College makes it just about six states and even if APAC just goes Bonkers on her uh I do believe through uh if she changed her policy you could have I wouldn't say like a Bernie type small dollar engine but her small dollar could really significantly move up uh including progressives who maybe don't like her on other things but you know support her for a little moral courage um I don't really think APAC could make the difference in two months uh the donors might turn on her but are they going to start running ads for Trump I don't know about that but I will say the economy and inflation is still the number one issue so even if she turned uh on policy in a good way that we would like and your audience would like uh I don't think Israel in those Israel Gaza in those swing States for most voters I'm talking Independence uh the The elusive swing voters I don't think their vote is going to change based on whether she is uh calling for an arms embargo or not I think it's really the young voters not just young voters there's older people that care about this too but young voters Arab Americans I see there's more to gain for her because I don't see APAC money like you know swinging all the Independence against her I see if there's a really really really bad economic event this month or October that could but on Israel Gaza I I think that's the top issue for younger people Arab Americans not not independent voters
