it's great to be over at the start of the Floyd parade March the first ever March that we had in Jerry it was in 2010 when I was lucky enough to be mayor of the city we've been marching ever since and of course the route is the route that in 1968 the 5th of October the civil rights movement tried to finish but was interrupted uh by the police the rec who were trying to close down a spirit of protest against an old corrupt regime this is a March of protest it's a March 4 rights it's a March that we continue uh to to march on until all the rights and people in our community are fully and properly respected and restored
