all right well Tyler congratulations on your album strong your world tour tour strong appreciate it so what's tour life like now you know it's been an awesome summer we played a lot of fairs and festivals and uh I was on tour with Kane in the spring so that was a good time as well but we're about to kick off officially the fall tour the strong tour like you mentioned and uh it's going to be an awesome fall we're going to Australia we going to uh all over the states as well so busy fall but excited the guys we just been working up this new show and uh yeah excited to hit the road hey to stay yeah the family comes occasionally I think they're probably coming to like half the weekends or so so it's fun the kids love it um it's nice to have everybody out and it just kind of brings a cool energy to the tour what's touring like now compared to the early days are you going to bad rate off you know it's uh it's not quite as crazy as it used to be for sure but uh it feels like I'm on a path to being able to do it for a little while a little while longer than maybe the old ways but uh yeah we try to we still have a good time out here for sure but we uh I get my rest especially if the kids aren't out here but if the kids are out here we're rocking like you know getting up early and doing uh the family thing for they no they're not here this weekend so I've been resting most of day ex are they going to come with you to Australia no they're not going to make that long yeah that is a real long haul what's on your bucket list now as a solo artist oo good question you know uh I don't really I don't know I guess just continue to grow and and uh connect with the fans I'm sort of in like a interesting space where I'm just really grateful to even be where I'm at so I'm trying to just enjoy the moment and not look too far ahead or have too many too many uh goals to check I've been pretty fortunate to check a lot of those boxes off in my previous uh career if you will so it's been uh I'm in a cool space I'm really enjoying it and getting to uh kind of relive The Glory Days and and really kind of live in gratitude along the way well the Glory Days have been going on for a while for you we've been following you since day one so what's your best memory when you look back of the FGL days oo man that's a good question I don't know probably this is this sounds crazy but probably the hardest time we ever had was on the country third down tour when we were first getting started we were the barbecue band and we were in a van and all those and all we were kind of really roughing it to be honest and I think uh those are some of the best memories the hardest memories for sure but some of the best memories so uh so yeah I try to encourage people that are coming up in Vans and roughing it like we did it's uh enjoy the moment enjoy the moment yeah what advice would you go back and give your former self that's probably what I would say don't wish it all the way too quick you know I mean it was rough for sure but uh some of the best memories were made during that time you know love that well we were chatting with your buddy TR last weekend you got a lot of friends in the country music world so we got to ask who would you call at 2 a.m. who's always going to answer your call your of your famous friends oh man that's funny you know who almost always answers or at least responds very quickly is Keith Urban AZ he's in Australia exactly yeah he's wi aw but no he's always a a quick responder and you know a good buddy so I feel like I could holler him who would you not let babysit your kids oh god um I'm gonna go with Morgan Wallace yeah other people have I mean everybody said that come who would you most trust with your kids uh I feel like Russell Dickerson he'd be he'd be pretty fun I'd leave my kids with Russell Dickerson familyes hang out they probably have a blast yeah we're all we're all friends yeah who would I might have left my kids as before it's happened uh who would you call to be your opening act oo right now probably called Nate Smith yeah he's coming com we love Nate all the time Nate he's a good time and who would you love to open for oh good question uh uh I think it'd be fun to open for Hardy oh yeah yeah it' be fine we saw your cover of the weekend song oh yeah blinding lights I'd open for the weekend yes that would be Co okay and finally who makes the best cocktails who makes the best cocktails of all your famous friends is it you no it's not me no your wife I'm pretty I'm pretty lazy with it not my wife um Thomas Rett makes a pretty good cocktail he has tequila yes promis at the bottom yes yeah he does a pretty good job he better bring us a bottle well what's coming up for you this year we got the album we got the tour anything else that's about it you know I'm rocking through like the end of November every weekend so we're just out on the road playing shows and doing what we love and I'm going to I'm continuing to write I'm probably going to start recording some more music here pretty soon so uh well we can't wait for apprciate it thanks so much
