hey Larry Bernie had a uh very quick turnover from yesterday's emotional us Championship to of course today's Third Place game but as you can imagine the boys of Bernie handle it like pros a roller coaster of a 15h hour stretch and forever from this moment now and on this year's Bernie Allstar Squad will be remembered as the first to touch soil here at the Little League World Series go Bernie let's go Texas let's go Texas Bernie was the team to beat in the United States bracket of the Little League World Series Bernie frustrated teams early in the tournament outscoring their opposition 18 to3 through their first three games not even the best little Leaguers in the country could crack the code against the boys of Bernie I felt really good and I felt like we got maybe we got a really good chance to come out here and win this it just felt really good the US title game turned out to be the game of the tournament a dramatic back and forth battle between Texas and Florida although nothing could have prepared Bernie for what transpired in the fifth inning as the boys would suffer a heartbreaking loss who could have predicted that type of game to happen three pitchers in one inning but you know they fought all the way um and still almost I mean we're right there in it to to try to make it happen that last inning first team out of our area to ever do this and just having as much fun as possible and to make it this far it's amazing Bernie leaves Williams for the fourth best Little League team in the world having gained many new supporters along the way at the hotel he was like looking up everything then he saw like 5,000 people I'm like what how are you this famous it is shocking it's overwhelming um definitely I think we're always here at the ball field we're not not really watching the TV coverage so I'm kind of hearing you know that his name's mentioned on TV but we're not really seeing it so it doesn't necessarily feel real but yeah it's it's been overwhelming wow yeah when I talked to Bernie's manager Justin new he said this attention will definitely have an impact on recruiting for the future and from what we all saw Julian hurse will be highly sought after he is no longer a hidden gen within the Bernie program
