As we see those temperatures starting to heat up a little bit later. Once that sun comes up, we'll have plenty of that 101 to 102. Heading over to Fort Worth today along with Denton and those temperatures a little bit hotter out west, but it might not be the heat so much. But that humidity, let's factor that in it is gonna be muggy and this heat index is certainly gonna be a factor today. 111, maybe 112, Fort Worth over to Dallas today 109 heading out to Greenville. So, yes, we are talking about some seriously hot temperatures out there as we get into this afternoon and that feels like temperature pushing up over 110. Now, there's a slight chance, a very slight chance for a little rogue isolated shower or thunderstorm later today, maybe in our southeastern counties as we get into the early afternoon and then maybe one or two dotting portions of North Texas later this afternoon, but coverage only about 10%. So, don't get excited about that. I think this gets repeated again for tomorrow, maybe in our southeastern counties, but otherwise we're gonna keep it mainly dry over the next few days. Now, maybe you're trying to escape the heat heading down to Austin San Antonio. Still going to be hot in those areas. Upper nineties to around 193 over toward Houston. We'll start to see a few, uh, she sea, sea breeze of showers and storms over the next few days. And that will help us maybe as we get into next week. So we'll be talking more about that. But look at that heat, Abilene, San Angelo 106. You can see the excessive heat and the heat advisory all the way down toward Austin as we go through the day today. So here's that weekend forecast here in North Texas again, tomorrow, about a 10% chance for some isolated thunderstorms are still gonna be up around 100 those upper nineties as we get into Sunday with those south winds a little bit lighter at around 5 to 10. Now, in that extended forecast taking us on into next week, we'll keep those temperatures in the upper nineties through the middle of the week. Low end rain chances, we'll bump those rain changes up just a little bit as we head into the holiday weekend, heading toward Labor Day and folks, temperatures do begin to come down as well. So right now, only about a 20% chance for some showers and storms. Hopefully, we can increase that a little bit and those temperatures coming down into the mid nineties as we head toward Labor Day.
