against a good squad man you know the LA Rams BR Matt Stafford that was some question that Matt Stafford was even gone practice but obviously you're glad that he did right because iron sharp is IR you want to go against the I don't even know who they they backup is you know what I'm saying like we don't we don't want the backup right right right we going against the man and we want the ones you want the ones man we got them we got you know him cup PUK and AA you know they out there doing their thing man and uh we'll talk about we'll talk about how you know how defense fared against them and we'll get to our offense man um you wanna you want to start with our offense bro because I know let's start with that okay okay look at you just not letting me set it up not let me bro I was trying to I was trying to like play with the like play with a little bit now you just like just want to always just want to ram it in there all right that's what we doing uh that's how we do it that's how bro the the main takeaway at least for me I don't know if people around you know other people Texans people are talking about this man but the old line concerns me allar um you know we've been giv a lot of flack here to oh DP Damen Pierce he may catch the most Flack of any channel here um but maybe maybe there was something to all the defense that he's been getting by demo and other folks bro man o line just just don't look good they don't they're not jelling right now bro like they still penetrating the Back Field still getting to like no matter who it is Joe mixon's able to make a little bit of magic happen but bro even their claim to fame which is protecting the quarterback they weren't doing well you know got to CJ a couple times right yeah man it's not a good look it's not a good look especially when you know we clearly see so so now that makes you wonder right I mean you and I have been pretty critical about about DP here the last couple of weeks but what that makes you wonder is is with Mixon obviously being a great running back what is he going to be able to do H how much are we going to handicap how much is he going to be handicapped and how effective is he going to be behind this offensive line now yeah you know DP is obviously struggling right I mean he's struggling mightily struggling and a couple of these other guys have been able to you know flash in the pan kind of thing and show show some show some spark there but you know the one that we hadn't seen much I mean you asked me yesterday what are the one of the things that you're you're looking forward to and I was is is is seeing Mixon out there getting a proper workout right and and get some proper reps which he did against another team right because only time that we've seen him is in training camp against you know our Squad you against our guys we haven't seen him in the preseason games against you know the Steelers against the Giants blah blah blah you know so um yeah man it it's it's a little bit of a concern it's a little bit of a concern man you know and of course people are going to say oh man it's it's preseason it's training camp they'll get it together but Omar dude historically we it seems like every year we're talking about oh man if the old line was just better you know if we just could protect a little bit better if the old line could you know open up some holes our Run game would be better and we've talked about it so many times right we need a dude you you're not gonna win a championship without a without a good rank without a solid offensive line no yeah without without them without them doing their entire job right the entirety of the job of the offensive line uh which which we're clearly seeing that I mean we've clearly seen over the last couple of weeks that they're struggling in the in the in the rushing side of things right opening up the lanes and making sure that our running backs have some space to to gain some yards I don't think that I think what what shocks me the most is how you know how they were able to let these Defenders get into the back field and get close to CJ I think they you know think they gave up a sack or two you know dur can't be penetrated right you know no one likes being penetrated you know especially me and then te shouldn't like being penetrated but they're allowing so much penetration um it's not it's it's it's yeah it's concerning man but not to be all negative because it definitely was not all negative like I say that was just the most concerning thing but right unrealistically if we want to be unrealistic right now we could just throw the ball every damn time which for sure you don't want to do right and that's like I say that's unrealistic you're not gonna do that you gotta be able to run the ball but dude the guy that is in the back field that is supposed to be our primary Runner and is gonna be our primary Runner he's a stud when it comes to catching the ball bro and uh he he does his thing man he can run between the tackles he he I mean he can do do it all he is a Bell cow back bro he's an every down back he's he's he's the guy as advertised man and he put it on full display today um man caught some um caught some nice passes from CJ one in particular I was just an absolute dime yeah over the shoulder like over the back yeah man I mean just baby in the Cradle you know what I mean it was on in full stride just beautiful made made the catch two feet in and just ah it was I mean just beautiful what you want to see I mean but and once again to your point right like that's the kind of catches you you you expect from Diggs from Collins from tank that's a running back out there yeah he's has advertised man you know we we seen him do it in ciny you know we know he's capable I mean that's that's one of the things that uh is is an attribute of his man and it's it's great it's gonna be needed you know if he can't run if they can't give him the ball and he just run between the he had a nice cut on one that just got like three yards or so you know it's it's the same thing was better than his average right yeah that's what I'm saying he's be he's beating his average man what a he's averaging a yard a carry over the last two games you know he's averaging a yard to carry if you got three hey that's you know we're talking about 200% increase that's great that's so sad but then third and fourth quarter um reps so there could be something to that as well maybe that coupled with the fact excuse me the fact that you know offensive line is struggling somewhat right um I don't know there there's just all kinds of things man one of the things we like to do is overreact oh absolutely and listen absolutely listen you you don't like DP anyway just because he's got the hair thing and that you know you got there's there's you know you're mad at their brother for that and so there's you know there's kinds of stuff but fact of the matter is and he Hur tank Dale and then he rolled over on tank D look all that all of that's fine and dandy those are all variables right they're all variables however what you cannot dispute is the fact that my man is averaging one yard per carry yeah that's what you cannot dispute with the opportunities that he's been given against you know I don't know man you know I'm not of the belief that the talent drop is is that much you know so I get it it he's running against different you know different team you know the the team two like whatever sure um I don't I don't feel like the talent and then it just don't pass the it test man you know he's running into the into the of the cam acres is like I'm not gonna do that and it's more productive for him it's just you know though you you kind of you kind of you kind of messed me yesterday and the past episode as a matter of fact that really brought it home for me and made me realize that this is not as big a deal as it needs to be and that's the fact that last year's rb2 behind Mixon only got 40 carries the entire season so at the end of the day we're really making uh what they call a a mound out of a mole hill right absolutely AB it's it's almost it's almost irrelevant right yeah it doesn't matter however Dar is still my guy and I'd love to see him on this squad I'd rather see D than um than than DP dar's gonna make Squad D I think D is solidified man I think so too man talk about all the time yeah he he could do a special teams thing and he's looking great you know as a as a runner more so this year as well man so uh shout out to DAR man uh British Brooks one interesting thing about him man is they have been lining him up at fullback you know so Andrew Beck's been dealing with uh an injury and we talked about it I think you know for a little bit saying that it's a possibility that man they could want to run more fullback sets to to try to help out the Run game you know what I'm saying it's kind of an old school thing you know running with running with fullback but um you know British Brooks has looked has looked good in his opportunity at at running back you know so that may be an to make the teaming in that roster spot at fullback as opposed to you know trying to take one of the RB spots you know which typically they they're only gonna keep four you know they G They're Gonna Keep four running backs and you know fullback and maybe I mean it's it's so convoluted bro because it's like okay if you if you don't keep a fullback at all then that's another spot possibly for another receiver for Receiver right you know let's talk about the receivers man um our guys our Holy Trinity the the Holy Trinity uh bro they they they were on full display um you know Stefan Diggs man the Holy Trinity dig is on Full display today man um you
