it's actually my first Jamie Johnson concert oh yeah I'm so excited what do you like about Jamie um what is there not to like about Jamie Johnson the beard I just want to stroke his beard into Oblivion he's a country boy he's a Storyteller and he's true to himself I like his old school attitude he's he brings the between the Jones and brings that old school country I grew up on M me I you know what my grandparents listen to but it ain't like the new stuff right he reminds me a little bit of a young Charlie Daniels tell me about your grandparents uh they just some people I strive to try to be like I always fall short but I always keep working grandma grandpa we went fishing a lot y love that like takeing my boys fishing brings back those memories church that was a big thing with my grandparents yeah what kind of family values did your grandparents or parents teach you togetherness you know you've got each other's back through through whatever whatever you're struggling with whatever you're dealing with you're always there for each other oh my dad is my hero like he has he has been a single father and he raised me you know that one song in color so always spoke to myself so he's he's awesome when you hear the song In Color what goes through your mind uh just thinking about our vets family that connection my dad's World War I service landed D-Day plus one got injured uh with shrap is back they were they were all tough World War II they were they were a different generation I have a husband that died and I miss so many things about him his laugh oh my God his laugh and my mother Oh my Jesus she was so precious we were best friends she's awesome but I know where she's at and I'll see her one day my dad was Vietnam veteran he served his time went over and did what he needed to do and come back and makes me a proud daughter to be a vet daughter that song brings back a lot of those memories yes cuz a lot of his stuff wasn't black and white he was did a lot of Photography while he was there that's actually my favorite song by him that's the first song I ever listened to so it actually makes me think of when I was riding in the truck with my dad for the first time listening to it with him everyone can find a verse that means something to you and put it in your perspective when you guys hear the song In Color what does it make you think of makes me think of my grandfather actually who served in World War II uh you know he told me a lot of stories he served in the Philippines and uh in Japan and what was really cool is I found out later in life after he passed away that he would tell me stories that he never told my dad or any of his brothers or anything so they went through a lot the greatest Generation greatest generation
