I actually feel like it's funnier because it's such a specific sense of humor that there's so many jokes and things like that that I feel like people might not understand in the movie but if you understand Tim's sense of humor it's the it's exactly who he is as an individual just kind of you know I just wanted to do the movie justice but do my character Justice and and be her this many years later that's pretty insane I mean cuz you don't think that Beetle Juice is going to come back uh I didn't assume that I was going to work with Tim another job or you know um especially not a film and not one like this up on the day and you still I don't think it ever really hit it never really hit and then I did this I mean I like I felt like I was watching you guys you know could to see these characters come back to life and you know Michael jumped right back into it Winona did as well suddenly she had the bangs you had the water down in the afterlife room cuz it's the the work the prosthetic work the puppetry I mean there were people under the couch working bodies from underneath and it was just wild every detail just you just want the camera to just linger slowly on all of them yeah it's definitely a world that inspires so many different artists I feel like all those details that people will never see it it was the incredible teams that we had working on things thinking like oh what would be funny what would be funny you know down to stamps you know like people had weird interesting stamps or half by her own shoe you know like things like that there was a guy in a speedo who drowned and had a table of ice around him with a thin ice thin ice or thin ice uh arrive on day one do you have advice do you have warnings for Jenna what did she need to know we took her side didn't we we did we no I think it was that said I met Jenna I think it was it like the week Wednesday came out and I was I like just suddenly was like come here to me I I felt very very um protective then so sudden your life completely changes cuz you're in their home so they think you belong to them I want to tell them how much I love and I when is it okay but no especially first days no first days you're there to yeah you're yeah you're working so no one can ask you when you walk off literally all actors is the most embarrassing thing ever when you're shooting a scene and you walk off camera but you can't be in the ey line or distract everyone you walk off and then go well that's the thing going into this one you you kind of know what you're in for peee I like you Dy like that's aay that's a great pay what do you do the the Beetlejuice impression on set or when Michael's not around yeah I was I don't know maybe it might be menopause but also I just was like really emotionally cine oh my God how do I get into the club what what how do I become amuse figure out a creative way to be dad I that didn't sound as I meant to if you could die creatively yes strange clown uh balloon party swallowing accident whatever you said was a we we was please start again oh my God I believe that really wasn't worth going back to it was not worth going back to it's too late my ilk perhaps I would never I would never I would never I was so glad to be working with him on Wednesday I actually heard about Beetle Juice because you know who leaked it the writers of this script leaked it a little bit before and I was so excited for them and so happy for them in the last like two weeks of shooting Wednesday they resonates with both of you in different ways it resonates with me definitely just because I I think the life path that I chose for myself was very um unexpected and kind of had no 7-year-old brain going oh man maybe this would be you know so it's kind of like a weird situation that I've seen for you no but truly to work with like someone talking about her no that's not what I meant but like he class to hear from these folks that have been doing it in the best way possible of course it is of course it is and also with something like this you know you guys not only had you worked with Tim multiple times before you're obviously they're all so experienced and so uh acclaimed in their their field and their careers really fresh and new you know way of thinking and while this film is still very original in a sense it was nice to know that okay well some people here know what they're doing and or never going take care their I just got to observe as much as I possibly could and then go okay so where can I huge liar you're good actor yeah I'm just practicing my craft but everyone on the everyone on the set is scared we're actors yeah to do a good job well you know you just you have this one chance and this one take really each take was a huge opportunity in and yeah but but for me especially I just never thought that something like this would have happened and also I think it's good you should be scared yeah you should be sced you should be scared yeah that's great when NOA was just saying like she connected with you because she's a big fil nerd as you guys know and like your reference points are like on point oh no way do you do you take that responsibility um to be the music film expert on a sets I don't know how it happened but I think it's just I don't know if it's because I assume that the people that I'm working with because they're all they we all work in Creative field so was were you all in when you heard we're going to do something different but we are going to be getting on our feet and doing something I think I just read it and went oh yeah what do you even do and that last time it was so thrown together and so unexpected I didn't even know what I was doing on set it was so embarrassing the first time it's a really it's a really embarrassing job but when you're committed it's actually not because then it's like and it's playful yeah it's it's silly this whole good hands you know Tim's going to make you look good in the edit it's going to be all good yeah uh of course yeah and um I was actually in Brooklyn this last Halloween and I was walking around and I saw this girl who's a part of like a field trip and there was a couple of Wednesdays but I caught one of them a little blonde girl who's like six she was at the end of the line and I looked at her with a coffee in my hand and I just came out at a cafe I was like oh I like your costume and she let's do it took a photo with these two girls and they were like yeah it's such an incredible genor takea costume and then they went away that you have on no oh that's great the best genor take costume I've ever seen great thank you I was like oh so bad about stranger things because obviously it all came out and it was huge deal it still is a huge deal and I I have so much respect I love sci-fi I love it when it could be done well extensively and it's really really um we are sharing and comforting especially because when we were shooting Beetlejuice it was it hadn't even been a year since Wednesday came out so everything was still fresh and new and um it's scary it's like a terrifying feeling and I don't say that to complain or to say oh you know said you know what eth Scissor Hands is calling to me what would you say no you know what I would say about that specifically as well I love that there's a lot more female leads nowadays I think that's so special but we should have our own I I don't like it when it's like a spin-off like I don't want to see like J you know like I want to see just like another bad ass so yeah something like that definitely definitely leave it and also the beauty of something like Edward is the mystery I think it's very sensitive you see Beetle was very yeah something there's no it's real I think you got to what sorry I missed that what sorry yeah definitely sus it out sus it out not putting that on her yeah no it most it most most definitely did I'm so lucky to have been able to not only work with people that I just respected so much but then also like I care about you so much I care about Winona so much a great relationship with Justin you know like it's just been so nice
