Promo Code "YOUTUBE" though exact situations are challenging to replicate sometimes we can find similar production from historical markers today we are looking at five players who could recreate 2023 success stories and fantasy but before we dig in head over to 4for4.com and use promo code YouTube to get yourself 25% off any subscription This Year's Tank Dell planinc onto Tennessee then Atlanta Woodside thr this year's tank Dell is Germaine Burton coming off of 2023 draft boards as the wide receiver 73 tank Dell was an afterthought as a rookie with an unknown role in the offense he could take a couple of weeks to get going but he would eventually grow into the deep threat of a powerful offense finishing the season with the 14.4 average depth of Target the eigh highest Mark out of 70 receivers who ear at least 60 targets while he managed three or fewer catches in four of 10 games his boom weeks were incredible particularly after the team's week seven buy from weeks 8 to 12 he averaged 17.3 half PPR points per game the sixth High Mark in fantasy over that span moving on to 2024 we have another rookie option who looks to be an explosive option on a great offense but he does have Jamar Chase and T Higgins standing his way of a huge Target share well it doesn't look like he will be logging consistent snaps and therefore consistent fantasy points through the the early portions of the Season he could provide Spike weeks when it matters most during your playoffs the explosiveness in big play ability could slowly sleep its way into the Bengals game plan particularly if T Higgins plays similarly to his 2023 levels Higgins is a phenomenal boundary receiver who has become the Deep ball threat on this offense but he still leaves a lot of meat on the bone including his 1.66 yards per route run which ranked 42nd out of 96 qualifying wide receivers and 34.8% contested catch rate which ranked 6 nth out of 96 qualifying wide receivers during the preseason Burton lined up almost exclusively out wide running 40 of his 42 routes from the outside he would catch eight of his nine targets for 157 yards and two touchdowns most of these big gains did come against backup secondary pieces but it was good enough to see his usage Focus so much on his downfield ability Burton could become an unheralded fantasy piece who pays off in bunches just as tank Dell did as a This Year's Sam LaPorta rookie the Las Vegas Raiders select Brock Bowers tight end Georgia best hands of any pass catcher in the entire draft he's a receiving entity who can block grank Travis Kelce that's the type of player that Brock Bowers is this year's Sam leaport is Brock Bowers B on rookie Titans used to be a Fool's Aaron but lorta and his classmates flip that on its head with the Detroit line become only the second tight end to Dethrone Travis Kelce as the overall tight end one since the 2016 season will rookie do that again in 2024 it seems highly unlikely but can we get a great value on what might be a consistent top 10 option that's less of a gamble there may be no more exciting bet to make in fantasy football this season than a late season breakout of Brock Bowers no one would argue that he's in a particularly good offensive environment but it's hard to believe the Raiders spent the 13th overall selection on Bowers with Michael Mayer already on the team for no good reason the quarterbacks in Las Vegas don't Inspire confidence but Bowers athletic and Egypt profile sure do over his 3 years at Georgia the tight end averaged 5.6 targets 64 receiving yards and 65 touchdowns per game numbers that are unheard of over an entire college career at this position this enabled him to win the macki award in each of his final two seasons a fact that is not only unheard of it had never happened before there are almost assuredly going to be growing pains in year one inside this offense but his upside and late season schedule make him a fantastic Target in the ninth round the Raiders want to be a run heavy offense but they also are projected to win 6 and a half games this year so we'll see if they're once align with their needs Bowers could end up with well over 100 targets as this team's number two receiving option just like Sam lorta last season Nick This Year's C.J. Stroud throws touchdown touchdown grab for Denver I I tell you if you're a Denver fan you're going to be really happy with that drive in your quarterback this year's CJ strad is Bo Nicks it's hard to call anyone CJ Stroud after his incredible rookie season but finding an option who can far out kick his presumed fantasy value leaves us with B Knicks stra was coming off of draft boards as the QB 24 last summer far lower than the likes of Caleb Williams or Jaden Daniels this summer Daniels has the type of rushing upside we're looking for while the Bears offense figures to be leaps and ballots better than the broos this season but keeping mind most thought that the Texan could be struggling with stoud as a rookie and they had the seventh most passing yards in the league not saying the Broncos will have the seventh best passing attack of the 2024 season but there could be more meat on the bone here than we're giving ni credit for there's also a little more upside with the quarterback's rushing chops than typically gets mentioned through three seasons in Auburn Nick's had 21 rushing touchdowns before adding 20 more over his last two seasons with Oregon is the Broncos receiving room anywhere near what the Texans is we assume not but I don't recall anyone calling Nico Collins and tank Dell must drafts at this time last year either during his final season with the Ducks Nick averaged 2.44 seconds per drop back the fourth fastest in the entire FBS Shawn Payton has a storied history with a decisive quarterback I'm willing to keep Nicks on my streaming radar and Casey gels with the offense faster than we're giving him credit This Year's Kyren Williams for out in motion hand it to Miller right off the gut and he's in touchdown New Orleans this year's Kiren Williams is kendre Miller this is going to be a hard sell but stick with me here kendre Miller is currently sitting on the IR with a hamstring injury which will force him to miss the first four games of the 2024 season in response fantasy drafters have deemed him completely undraftable in nearly every format this was despite many of us believing that he would have a decent workload as he head into his sophomore season as recently as the middle of July he was going in the 13th round of drafts and was often going earlier in Underdog baseball drafts this was of course before his coach railed against him for not being able to get on the field and thus in able to practice throughout most of the preseason with this trip to the IR the coaching staff is buying him some more time to get up to speed so he can hit the field running by the time week five rolls around so where are the comparables to Kiren Williams it's easy to forget at this same time last year Williams was lumped in with backup options like Ronnie rivers and Zack Evans resulting in him going completely undrafted in almost every format with Cam Acres the presumed starter a was being drafted in the fifth round by the end of draft season and reward those managers with 29 yards on 22 carries in week one his final game as a Los Angeles Ram while no one is expecting Alvin Kamar to be unceremoniously shipped out of New Orleans this season it's not as if he is offering the Saints the type of explosiveness he once did last year Kamar ranked 52nd out of 63 qualifying backs with his 2.51 yards created after contact as well as 52 with it 13.7% break break away run rate it was his third straight season with a breakaway run rate below 15% in the back field that doesn't have many options to spell Kamar this season kendre Miller could be the guy who takes over an outsize role despite sitting on Waiver Wires right now here's Howard This Year's Trey McBride stepping up in the pocket now flush to the right back of the end zone caught for a touchdown Ben C the fullback this year's Trey McBride is Ben cinate the rookie tied in was dra drafted in the third round to the Washington commanders a team that is currently projected to score the 26th most points in the NFL this season and if those two red flags weren't quite enough for you the team also went out grabbed veteran Zack Ur to handle a lot of the pass catching duties while cic gets up to speed sounds a lot like how the Arizona Cardinals were handling Trey McBride last season while sitting behind s McBride accounted for only nine targets through the first five games of 2023 well the second half explosion had a ton to do with s going down in week seven we were all coming around to the fact that he should probably be earning more playing time regardless despite that early season L of production he finished the season as fantasy's tight in 10 with his 8.3 half PPR points per game hitting north of 15 fantasy points on four occasions after his teammate went down now we're not projecting SS to get injured this season but he will turn 34 years old in November and is returning from that aforementioned quad injury there's also the fact that McBride was Opera inside of a team that only scored the 24th most points in the the league but also had a lack of options in terms of receiving depth that is very similar to what the commanders are looking at after they traded away to H doson as duly acquired Noah Brown seems to be the best bet to be the team's wide receiver too there's always the chance that Ben C takes far more agback and fullback snaps then we will be comfortable with but he's also going completely undrafted at this point just like McBride who was the tight end 32 in drafts last summer keep the third round rookie in mind when looking for possible upside out of the position later in the year and now we get to this year's puka nkua a breakout wide receiver coming from nowhere as a League winner off the waiver wire so this year's puka nakua is no one
