missed it with their leader for the day max P he tries to bridge across and indeed does get across just as the door is closing in the Pelon Van's panicking with tahar they know it's now or never to make it across to this Breakaway but they strong rers in there fro we saw how strong he was as well as Casto for AA K farmer already a stage winner it gets blocked up in the Pelon all looks good for UA Vine can take K points without anyone contesting the Sprints with him and may he can win the stage cuz really there's not that many pure climbers in the break except Mark Solair reopens proceedings pure climbers like Mike Woods who happens to be on his wheel the winner uh the other day from the Breakaway when he destroyed everybody Solair starts chasing the Breakaway despite his teammate being in there and then it all kicks off with Adam ja look at his upper body look how still that is this is the best climb in the world you're looking at right now and he gets onto the wheel of Solair jates and Boran happy RIT is following COV to cathon don't know what to do and okon is having a close moves himself armorel he gets there to settle things down they catch up to the Solair group and then Solair attacks again with COV and Asen Court Vine is only 20 seconds ahead he takes the first category one but now that breakway is fighting for its life on The Descent it's splitting up yagira and pool and Vine try to get something going and then it's caught in the valley so it had formed it had taken 2 minutes and it had lost everything again and now we just had 50ks of fighting we've got now a valley before another couple of high climbs with riders like enrik M wondering who where are my teammates who's jumping ahead it turns out that UAE played paddle COV and Vine back into the breakway like Conor doesn't have many teammates to play with although VPP went with COV as well as cous like what's cous going to do he either jumps in himself he's not going to close anything down he's got no teammates and so COV Who start of the day 13th on GC gets across the Breakaway with Mar and jayvine Bora put two in but the two they have Martinez and vlasov they're nowhere in GC so it doesn't really don't really help them much to be honest in terms of from a GC perspective cuz Vine doesn't care how many people are here he's just going to pay all out with COV and his wheel the UAE car decides it's an opportune moment to give a bid on Midway through the intermediate Sprint and they received I think marado a fine for that and Kung was not best pleased other car drama rogl stops before the final climb gets a new bike because he wants the one by setup with the bigger gearing but then shelters behind the car to return now sometimes the commissaires turn a blind eye to this because the guys had a mechanical but this was a plan change you see how small his front chain ring is compared to Adria and Martinez and maybe rogl needed the car to come back because he would have been spinning out because he doesn't have as many gears for the high speed he's making sure he's optimized for the steep ramps at the finish and I think it did help having that wider gear ratio at the Finish but Vine's gone KNX is pulling with ler behind all out for uh T-Rex Quick Step so OK Conor and de C don't really have to do anything it's being managed the COV Problem by Lander or is Lander cooking something else what are you thinking mik Lander tell me he's thinking that he's going to attack soon because he gets katano to absolutely shred it he takes 40 seconds out of COV quick smart and the Steep K on the main highway is where decides to attack before we're on quri CAU skilo by surprise he's gapped and he finishes really well on the final clim skos is gapped on the Lander acceleration now Connor follows lipitz is there but none of these guys apart from RIT have any teammates so there's no second leaders there's another flat kilometer they all just say well that was an an extra burst I didn't want to do in R tells lipitz to get on the front and keep setting a pace while COV is ahead with vlasov in the wheel so vov and Casto they'v been sitting on COV all day but when Casto attacks at the base of the steep climb I must admit when I watched it live I thought that is not the brightest thing to do an all out 20 second effort now maybe he made it look harder than he did with his bobbing style but maybe he's just that strong with COV chasing him having pulled all day not able to come back to him quickly lipitz launches it and Aon is the only man that tries to follow once again which proves to be a mistake the others like cous M carapaz they don't try to follow just let RIT and liit right off and it looks like the Welter would have been over it also looked like the stage was a done deal with COV and vlasov not visible until vlasov returns from the fog the well-rated climber we thinking oh he's just going to dance past Casto now until Casto attacks him again maybe vlasov overextended to close the gap maybe the gearing wasn't good enough for him when you compare to RIT and Casto wins his second stage of the week what an improbable Victory beating COV and last on such a hard finish so hard that maybe rogl overextended M returning to him with quite a I think two k to go and actually putting it in to RIT it looked a bit like haanas okona held on well not far behind cous and Landa Mass dropped RIT but RIT able to return right at the last second not losing any time and Schmo are actually finishing really strong in third okon though keeps the red Jersey castria winning the stage 12 seconds ahead of Lov then COV on 31 Maron R only 5 Seconds Ahad of schel Moser and not far ahead of caras cous ler and goodu so smaller gaps than on anares and in terms of GC okona keeps the red jersey but more than the time Gap that's shown here he's got over a minute Gap cuz RIT was docked 20 seconds for Sheltering behind the vehicle as I said M caraz Landa liit Guru Rodriguez schel Mo they're all in there for the podium as well on GC especially with a hard TT in many hard stages to come so the Welter still alpl for going to the second rest day and I'll see you on
