what is going on guys this is sports back here with another video but before I get started I just want to talk to you guys a little bit about my YouTube channel if you guys are new so I do my videos on the New England Patriots the LA Rams the LA Kings the LA Dodgers and the Boston Red Sox so if you guys like like any of those teams you guys might want to consider subscribing but without further Ado let's dive in so in this video we are going to be talking about the Red Sox and how they just signed journeyman Rich Hill uh to really uh boost their pitching depth and to add more pieces in order to make a playoff push push for the 2024 MLB playoffs um so let's get to Know Rich for the teams he played on so Rich Hill has been around the league for tons of years he started off in Chicago uh then went to Baltimore the Red Sox the Indians uh followed by the LA Angels the Yankees the Red Sox again the Athletics the D Rogers the twins the Rays the Mets the Red Sox the Pirates the Padres and the Red Sox again so uh you know he's he's uh he's been around the league a ton and he started out at Michigan as you can see there and um yeah I think honestly my thoughts on this move was I think this is good pitching depth um they they are going to assign him to uh the minor leagues and he's going to start off there and hopefully he could work his way up to the major leagues and um and really uh help out the team uh during the playoffs and stuff I mean right now the Red Sox are in third place behind the Yankees and Orioles um so goes the or followed by the Yankees uh then the Red Sox and then and uh and then the two other teams which are the Rays and and then there's another team but um yeah uh I think I like you know I mean this guy has traveled so you know hopefully he can give some insight on some opponents like the Yankees and stuff uh for uh what they plan to do in the playoffs but um yeah I think this is a good trade I I will give this a solid B plus because they really added depth more pitching depth for like the the playoffs in order to make like a playoff push and hopefully to make a run for uh for uh the World Series so all in all thank you guys for watching this video and uh I will see you guys later thank you guys so much for watching this video If you guys enjoyed this video make sure you drop a like and consider subscribing and we will see you guys in the next video [Music]
