Intro [Music] hey what's going on guys it is August young here docsports.com back with another free pick video today however we are going to be covering four selection for Friday August 30th we're going to cover all the football games the main games anyway uh so definitely a video worth watching here and we're going to Dive Right In look at the first game TCU @ Stanford that I want to cover TCU at Stanford now let's start with TCU we do like this team at quarterback they they have experiened there with Josh Hoover but I'm really unsure about them as a whole especially on the offensive end now defensively they also have some holes as well when it comes to Stanford this is a team that should be better than last year decent enough a quarterback and have a solid returning core with the offensive line the thing for me here is laying more than a touchdown it just it's a bit of a stretch in fact home dogs in this spot in week one are almost 61% against the spread in week one that means $100 better would have made over $3,000 simply following that Trend Sharps already have taken positions here they popped Stanford at plus 10 earlier in the week but I still like them for a free pick here at plus n so that is going to be the free pick on that game Temple @ Oklahoma now let's get to Temple and uh Oklahoma temple at Oklahoma now this Temple team no secret they should get obliterated this season by the majority of teams they just don't have anything at quarterback they have a complete overhaul with some key positions and they also rank as one of the worst rushing teams in the nation last season I don't expect that to change look at oklah they're going to be able to get anything they want here especially with the passing game they'll open up all on the ground the main question is of course can they cover the spread which is minus 42 it's a huge number it's an enormous number for a team that I still think does have a few issues on the offensive line and they will be breaking in a new quarterback but this is still an elite level team stacked full of talent I would lean with Oklahoma here as I definitely don't want anything to do with temple the main concern of course is laying 42 and if you look back they're covering only 47% rate anything laying more than 42 since 2010 although that has improved to 52% since 2020 uh that's still not enough though to cover The Vig of course it's a tough spot not something I'm super interested in getting involved in but the free pick of the lean will at least be the Sooners here atus 42 let's dive into Western Michigan at Western Michigan @ Wisconsin Wisconsin both teams likely improved this season I think Western Michigan will be the leader in the Mac once conference play starts it's going to be tough sledding against this Wisconsin team that are pretty much better than them everywhere defensively they're one of the best teams at producing three and outs they also limit explosive Rush yardage better than anyone they they likely take care of this one with relative ease but I do think the numbers a little high 24 free pick on this one we're going to take the Broncos plus 24 Florida Atlantic @ Michigan State uh Florida Atlantic at Michigan State will be the last one here and we're looking at fa they have some pieces this season but came off worse due to the transfer portal where they lost a decent amount of depth that is a concern for them the good news here is while we expect them to struggle defensively especially in the passing game we are not high at all on Michigan State offensively I don't see anywhere they can Excel I don't see how they're going to create offensive explosive plays they're fairly thin on the defensive side of the ball as well and laying almost two touchdowns it's a step too far for me we saw this number get up to 14 multiple times at some sharp books was immediately B down uh that not holding 14 is key it's a key distinction which does so solid solid resistance from sharp betters uh that's in line with how I feel about this game 14 is a solid buy still happy to take a small bite and give out a free pick here on Florida Atlantic at plus 13 so that is the free video for you today guys I hope you make some money with these I hope we cash some tickets and as always head on over to docsports.com for all of my premium selections I have a s unit going tomorrow Saturday in the big game between Clemson and Georgia and also remember link down below click that link for a free $60 account no obligation if you're not already a customer of Doc Sports you'll be able to use that fre $60 for any premium picks thank you guys again for watching this video comment your thoughts down below this is August young doc Sports
