Dallas Cowboys Trade Rumors On JuJu Smith-Schuster, Cooper Rush, Markquese Bell & Trey Lance

[Music] got more trade rumors ideas theories out there on Maris Bell Cooper Rush SLR Lance and also ju guu Smith Schuster of the Patriots I've realized the past we've always asked will the Cowboys make a trade so today your opinion do you want the Cowboys to make a trade within reason y for yes n for no in the comments section our fremes over at Bleacher Report uh they listed one player on each NFL team that a team should consider trading and their selection was Maris Bell citing ah is he a linebacker is he a safety who knows here's what Bleacher Report wrote there may not be a clear path to significant playing time for Bell with the Cowboys but there are several NFL teams that could have a use for Bell versatility as a hybrid player including former Cowboys defensive coiner Dan Quinn who is now the head coach for the commanders so first off I hate this idea I don't want to trade away Maris Bell because why am I trading away good cheap quality young starters or at least starting caliber players I was very impressed by what Maris spell did last season in a kind of forced into it linebacker role I thought he outplayed Deone Clark especially as a coverage player but even at times in run support now I think there were games in which the Cowboys overall lack of size and physicality did play against them uh you know the Bills game the ners game early on to an extent the Dolphins game the Packers game in the in the second half or they just couldn't hold up against the Run despite even doing you know loaded box stuff it it was bad I would anticipate Mars Bell moving back to safety and that's fine I like this safety room I've got Malik cooker I've got Donovan Wilson I've got Wan Thomas who I also like also be I think a core team for you this year maybe Israel Mamu and then Maris Bell hell I might be crazy I might play Maris Bell over some of the other guys maybe Donovan Wilson Lee cooker at safety I want to utilized all three of those guys I've seen Mike Zimmer utilize even jron K in Minnesota as a third safety so I I can find playing time for Bell who's as about as cheap as it comes on contract scales for this year you're paying him nothing he does not cost you anything more than the vet minimum and he's young he's cheap I don't see any benefit trading him away unless I'm rebuilding which this team continues to say that they're not rebuilding so pick one to bench MB for Maris Bell only play two safeties right MB for Maris Bell DW for Donovan Wilson MH for Malik cooker still want to use all three but who who's who's the third guy Pin comment on today's show you know know the deal ad's going to come on YouTube ignore it head down there and go vote instead I'm sure this is not the last time someone will suggest well what about trading away the loser of the backup quarterback job I I get that uh Sports Illustrated says SL Aon Sports kind of the same these days explored the idea of Cooper rush or Trey Lance getting traded by the Dallas Cowboys with whoever wins that qb2 job the pitch being like off Lance plays great in the preseason and you can trade rush or flip Lance for an asset whatever and there are monetary savings to at least mention here as that quarterback battle gets underway rush for now is the two but it's all about the preseason for Lance it's pretty important there the trade savings you save $2.25 million if you trade Cooper rush and is also your cut savings by the way same number there Trey Lance is 5.31 I believe that roster bonus has not been paid out at this time uh you it is fully guaranteed though so it's you save zero dolls if you cut him that's why he's not going to get cut that doesn't make Financial sense you might as well keep him on your roster uh unless he's just so so bad at a nightmare which I don't think is going to happen so if you only choose to keep one of these guys who is it CR for Cooper Rush TL for Trey Lance sound off in that comment section Lance has more upset I think we all know that there's still in theory the the guy that was worthy of the third round pick the the freak athlete with the strong arm who did showcase some mental processing stuff but has been unable to stay on the field for not just college but NFL and even some limited High School reps due to a variety of of injuries his senior year or junior year getting cancelled at North Dakota it just kind of orak say kind of just weird year it was a weird path for Lance who needs reps to why the pre-season matters so much now fan side cooked up this trade idea Cowboys get a fifth and a seventh the Dolphins get a fourth rounder which okay you're not that far off with what Dallas gave up it is less than a it's less than what you gave up but you're recouping assets here but the the the argument has always been well if Lance plays well in the preseason you can flip him or flip him and I would actually argue to an extent regardless of how Trey Lance plays in the pre-season I think either result might end up hurting the trade chances if Tre Lance is terrible who's trading for him no one if Trey Lance plays really well and looks awesome well does Dallas want to trade him or do they want to keep him as the backup maybe then they think there's even more value there or Beyond a backup and if he's okay are you going to get good value back or no so like I don't he gets mentioned in every trade rumor article out there I don't know it's actually all that likely you see the exact same thing I'm sure with other people as for Cooper Rush look he has been a good bus driver he has done his job and has at times helped up the Cowboys pretty significantly however Cooper Rush has been available remember when Cooper Rush played for the Giants I you guys remember that dude it was it was Garrett hardly counts Cooper Rush was a free agent several years ago or I guess two offseasons ago he had no real interest he was going to visit the Bengals and the Raiders maybe to be a backup as flight got cancelled decided not to go and signed pretty cheap all it was no NFL team has ever showed much interest in Cooper Rush as more than average-ish backup that's fine guy's got value he can help he can help you suane you know go 500 against okay opponents not going to beat the Eagles for you that's okay I don't think I's going to trade a real asset for him if a team wants to give me a pick and trade my guy great I can do that you know what else I can also do I can cut Cooper Rush he's a vested veteran he can be my number three quarterback on the practice squad not a bad idea and we'll have more Cowboys videos for you here all off seon long hit that sub button if you haven't already youtube.com/ Cowboys TV now BL report also suggested the Patriots trade Juju puster to the Cowboys now if you watched our own trade targets video here on the Cowboys report I did mention gu guu and there is some elements that make some sense here what's stupid though is the trade idea a third round pick going to New England that's I think pretty comfortably going to be a top 90 pick for Juju Smith Schuster this is so dumb if you hate this trade idea I want you to spam L because it's an L trade idea for the Cowboys in the comment section I have I have zero desire to do that trade zero I I I I I don't want to make that happen I think it's a terrible idea so if you agree spam L for me in the comments section I it's a garbage tier trade idea this I I've seen a lot of trade ideas come across the wire over the years this one's near the bottom it's bad did we watch Juju Smith Schuster last year he was doooo he was he averaged 29 cats for 200 and I look I I I will be the first to say that Patriots passing offense was a nightmare it was bad but there's three years in a row of him getting under nine yards per catch that's not actually good it's not impactful he was good with KC it might have been Mahomes thing every other year he's good so you can look there's arguments he'll be better with Dallas that's fine I'm not giving up a third round pick for a guy that had 260 yards last year coming off injury by the way and paying him $8 million why would I do that why how does that make sense that that's ridiculous amounts of money for 260 yards Michael Gallop was better than Juju last year Jaylen Tolbert was better than ju guu last year maybe the quarterback play impacts that sure come on that really made it through the editing process yes a third round pick for JuJu's Fair please your report hire better Writers come on a bench receiver because the pitch was well ju guu might not play in New England so I'm going to take a bench receiver and give you a third what in the Muhammad suu trade value are we doing out here that's so much more than the Cowboys got for Amari Cooper F right off L's in the chat terrible trade idea from Bleacher Report [Music]
