205 yes I'm talking about the River City I'm talking about Sunset and of course I'm talking about Oldtown this was a highly requested feature and guess what whenever they drop it we going to be in there because there are some added benefits to you actually playing in these courts as well now I'm not sure if this is the perfect way to reintroduce them but it is a very interesting way so we going to go to the Courtside report this includes the sun drenching Sunset Beach Park the industrial River City the urban settings of the old town I ain't going to lie old Tong he was hella glitchy back in those days from time go old Tong was lag Central and of course the upgraded Oldtown my park on the aircraft carrier that the affiliation won by winning the my Park Championship back in 2K15 I hated that because I was always Riven they said these are all getting remastered down to the last detail while incorporating New Gen Tech and lighting they look absolutely breathtaking we can't wait for our community to experience these all over again or for the first time it's been over 10 years and the whole generation hasn't had a chance to yet we'll be unveiling a new remaster during each of the first four season the events will feature buy 2 XP and double rip for the entire duration now this is one of the main reasons I'm going to be at these Parks now the problem is how often we going to be getting games is it take too long I'm not going to waste my time because that what comes with people people waiting on the G next but hopefully it's popping over there but let's continue on we didn't want this to be all about sweating for prizes on leaderboards this is all about having a tremendous time and revisiting these beloved my parks with your friends the first event coming at the end of long overdue h on front with I like just the way how it looks overall anti up we've been had that anti up since when man like come on this is beyond so finally we got a new look to anti up and wreck different seasons but that's nether here no there we're going to talk about that at a different time now next thing we have that's very huge is this my call change right they you can now actually adjust the sliders now we're going to go to the court side report and my court is back this apartment and basketball court combo at the center of the city is your private Hub to practice and experiment on the court and also a central location for NBA 2K 25 basketball Focus my career this is the best place to Horn your skills and learn game mechanics between your adventurers in the city you can work on your shooting and dribbling in a freestyle environment on your own or with the ball machine or invite friends and marro teammates to join you for various games like 1 V1 3v3 horse and more similar to how it was before they say in addition and this is where things get really interesting and makes this my court better than all the rest right here in addition my court now have new difficulty settings so that you can practice within the same sliders of your favorite game modes to F tune your game before you are ready to compete so this means if you play pram it does have pram sliders if you play wreck it have wreck sliders if you play Park have Park sliders if you play proven grounds it have sliders for that as well so I ain't going to from y this songs like a huge W for me personally let me know your thoughts on that not only they brought back my C which they should have never taken out the game but now they brought it back with now you could adjust the sliders accordingly I love that I love that that's a huge W for me right there now the next thing is the revamp rep system now we notice that there is a top 10 but it's a little bit different this time around so we going to go to the Courtside report real quick we enjoyed watching the community's dedications and rep grinding in the past year along with the intense competition that came with it so in NBA 2k2 the yearlong rep system is divided into four categories each with five tiers rookie one to rookie five starter one to Star five veteran one to five and Legend one to five at each day you'll unlock rewards such as the new cap Breakers with 15 total B available to earn as you advance through the rep TI these can not only increase your attribute ratings beyond the max potential cap but also contribute towards meeting the attribute requirements need to unlock new animations Badges and takeovers and can even unlock special archetype names for your my player once you reach Legend one you become legible for a spot on the top 10 leaderboard top 10 status and the reward that come with it are updated daily but the journey doesn't end there there are additional rewards to be earned from Legend 2 to 5 for the truly devoted a special reward awaits the first 100 players to reach Legend 4 on each platform of course they talking about PlayStation 5 Xbox series X and S and PC remember PC got nextg as well but it's not crossplatform but it's still got next gen let me break it down for y what they trying to see they really brought back the rep system how it was supposed to be in the first place also adding a leaderboard to celebrate the top 10 people instead of doing what they did last year last year all they did was make room for 10 people to really hit that Legend status and have that Legend rewards not this year now they have pretty much like the old system that Legend one to level five and they going to be getting Legend rewards the further you get up that Legend here the better rewards you have have but it won't necessarily be that you're not a legend I like that now when you hit legend in the past you still have that flashy Legend icon hopefully they give you something like that to kind of celebrate you as a legend we wait and see but I would prefer this system to what they had last year so it's not the same top 10 system they had last year at all and for me that's a huge W how they revamp the new rep system let me know what y'all think and my final takeaway is proven ground man this might be the most played game mode in the game for a few things number one it's matchmaking number two you getting more rep than you won't get under and on damn near any other game mode especially Park so this mode might kill park across the board outside of the classic parks that they bring back with double rep but let's go to the cor report there are five proven ground tiers bronze silver gold platinum and Diamond play well and move up but play poorly and you may drop a te here the amount of progress you make is based on your level of play and the strength of your opponents and matchmaking improving ground prioritize pitting you against other players who are in a similar tier and team structure as you to ensure more balanc and competitive games your tier is unique per game type per season but your best rank across all seasons in each of the four game types is safe once you reach silver your chair will be displayed on your my player gamer plate continue playing well to activate increased rep multipliers MVC win bonuses at Gold platinum and Diamond tier for that game type now that's specific game type now remember it's 1 V one 2v2 3v3 and 5v5 those are different game types within Proving Ground the leader boards that update daily track the top ranked players per game type and if you are in the top 100 of any proven ground game mode your rank will also be shown off on your gamer play the top five ultimate competitors who hold top rank status will receive double rep in that game type and a top rank logo that displays their rank so long as they are in the top five along with a special animation Banner in NBA 2k2 there are prizes for the top five finishers in each game type and each season this year now this is going to be really interesting to see how this plays out because you know how cheaters are cheatah going to find a way right we know how it is so we going to have to see it now the next thing they did in improving grounds they remove the ability to shoot with a shot meter now I believe the reason why they did that of course is to combat cheaters and zeners because you know zeners basically ruin stage if you go to Stage you're going to see people that meting just going crazy if they stream but most people you cannot necessarily see them meter hopefully they remove that with 2K 25 but that's nether here nor there but I really believe this might be the goto game mode for NBA 2K 25 y'all trust me so that's
