2023 ACC Kickoff: Virginia Tech WR Ali Jennings (7-26-23)

[Applause] all that success [Music] [Applause] and I definitely want to give my flowers to Highland Springs Coach Jay everybody knows Miss Coach Johnson he's a great guy he's a Virginia Tech alumni so that was another thing that was like okay like if coach Jay believes in it then it's something I can definitely trust him so it was just about how we practice we practice hard every day it was never a dull moment in practice we were always going good on good you were always competing at a high level and transitioning to college that helped prepare me for when when I started practicing as a college student and a college athlete it was like okay like now I know like how things work more than some guys who weren't in those type of systems and I would say that Highland Springs definitely puts out a lot of great College athletes of basketball football things like that and just the Richmond area in general there's a lot of guys out there who just need opportunity and just so happened I was one of those guys who got their opportunity and I'm thankful for it and hopefully I'm starting a legacy for for those guys because it's some good guys coming up and I can't wait to see them play either one yeah right foreign he is like a grenade he is he's explosive you when you watch him play and you guys can get to see much of him in the spring game but when you watch him play in practice he can do he can do it all he can run around you can run through you make you miss he can do it all and I think the one two game off of him and Malachi are going to be it's going to be it's gonna be hard to stop and then another guy that doesn't get a lot of media doing is strong he is I feel like he's one of the best corners I've played against uh just even practicing against him during um spring he's very technical and then he has his speed to make up for if he makes a mistake with his technique or anything and he he's a he's a good ball player and I'm excited to see him this season
