[Music] hey what's up guys welcome back to another video I'm here to give my Dodge Grand Prix race quick review SL observation and without any further Ado let's get right to my first observation well Ferrari after having a crappy show in the qualifying session finally came alive in the race today with like finishing P3 and signs in P5 they genuinely wear quick and that is a positive sign that Ferrari can take away from this weekend lle was able to comfortably hold off piastri in the final 10 to take the final place on the podium while Carlos SS also finished the race P5 by making all the positions on track so the positive sign is that the SF 24 still has a solid race bace with the team heading to its home Grand Prix next finishing on the podium is a positive sign and if I'm not wrong Ferrari is also bringing their upgrade package with which they expect to fix the bouncing issue with the sf24 and if they do actually end up cracking that issue and resolving it we should be able to see Ferrari with the SF 24 back fighting for race wins and Podium positions on a more regular basis McLaren once again did something very similar to what they've been doing for most of the season in terms of race execution though the team picked up a commanding race win over the home hero Max was stpp in with Lon Norris it was still not without mistakes first with the most absurd radio message by asking Lon Norris on who he's battling when it was clearly for the race win and then nerfing off pastri by letting him stay out longer on the first tent ideally it was a McLaren one to finish WR all over the race but it was McLaren's strategy to let the asri stay out longer on the first tent that really compromised on the team's result but instead they let him stay out a little too long to a point where he had to use all the rubber advantage that he had over the field to close back up to the top three that once he reached there he had nothing to fight with this year strategy and race execution has been the biggest Hercules heal of the team and Oscar pastri has been the driver who has seen the wrath of it so yes it's another hit and miss weekend for McLaren meres pretty much did something that is so uncharacteristic of them it still surprises me that they decided to pick Russell for the soft tires I mean seeing that drivers on the hard compound were able to push the tires to the end it makes me question why the team did what they did with Russell I mean I get why they pitted Hamilton because it was essentially a free pit stop and there was literally nothing to lose but by pitting Russell they essentially gave up a free position to peris which otherwise could have been Russell's considering how difficult it was to overtake around this track unless you have a genuine Pace advantage over the competition I think Russell could have defended the position to finish finish P6 it was also a bit of a shocking surprise to see how much Mercedes was struggling around this track after seeing them super competitive just a around ago I don't know how many of you saw this on the live feed because the commentators of both the sky feed and the f1tv seemed to have missed it but what Kevin Magnuson did at the final turn leading up to the pit straight was super dangerous I mean it literally could have caused a massive crash similar to the kind of Crash that we had at the safety car restart at muo in 2020 with the amount of car behind him I guess what Kevin Magnuson was doing is to slow down the pack behind to give niiko hulkenberg ahead a better chance at scoring points but both him and the team needs to stop doing this and I really hope that FIA does something about it rather than just sitting in the side waiting for something horrible to happen before taking an action usually drivers tend to exaggerate things to get the other driver penalized but in this case I am on albon side and what Kevin Magnuson did was totally [Music] dangerous Red Bull arguably played a damage limitation stint at the Dutch Grand Prix seeing Max withen dominating a race by 20 to 30 seconds ahead of rest of the field to now him being the one 20 seconds behind the race leader was difficult to process Perez on the other side of the garage has delivered a more cleaner stronger and a consistent weekend after a very long time if not for the slow pit stop I feel like Perez would have had the Liberty to bring in the tire nicely rather than having to push on it straight away to make up for the time lost in the pit stop P6 is still a bit away from where I think that Red Bull should have finished but at the end of the day I feel like this was much more of a Fierce and a more competitive performance from Paris that we've not seen from him in a very long time so that's a good sign and I really hope he builds on this to have a much more stronger weekend in the coming races McLaren were rapid and Lon Noti setting the fastest lap on the last lap on those worn hard tires was a testament to how quick they really were in the race setting the fastest lap on the last lap also signals a change in Lando Norris's mentality during the mid-season break I'm sure that he would have reviewed and reflected on everything that had happened in the first half of the 2024 season to deliver a better and a stronger performance in the second half and that changing mentality is very much visible when you listen to his radio message with his race engineer and with him taking the fastest lap on the last lap which clearly shows that he doesn't want to leave anything and want to maximize on everything in each race weekend to put ultimate pressure on Max for Sten in the dver championship and that is a promising change and I really hope he carries forward this mentality and
