Cowboys Make First Cut As They Trim Roster Down To 53 Players

the Cowboys have made their first roster cut Calvin Watkins of the Dallas Morning News reporting Tyron Billy Johnson the wide receiver is being released by the organization look this is not a huge surprise for the Cowboys mvon Johnson he impressed in the training camp portion not so much in the preseason Ryan floi looked better he was a draft pick the Cowboys weren't going to carry seven might not carry six wide receivers given his status as a career journeyman veteran wide receiver I'd be surprised if anyone claimed him off of waivers or picked him up so if he wants to if Dallas wants to I think he'll be back on the practice squad this upcoming season
