first of all you have to know you guys we have never seen it that was quite an emotional premiere for the cast of The Last show girl Thursday night at the Toronto Film Festival after the screening but before they came on stage for the Q&A Jam Le Curtis gave Pam Anderson her review of her performance call yeah most of the reviews are saying that Pamela is a revelation in this playing a veteran Las Vegas dancer reeling from the news that her career has hit its expiration date well I think I've been getting ready my whole life for this role pretty much at the same point and you know I was also just ready to do something I really the this when I read the script it's the first time I ever read a good script first of all I've never had a script given to me that was coherent um so I was like I'm the only one who can do this I've never felt that strongly about something so and you were so great to want me in the role so after that I thought you know what I have nothing to lose I'm just going to do it just be it to see it last night for the first time was really emotional too and doing it was emotional yeah the next day on Friday Pamela was able to start to process the rapturous reception that shot from the crowd in variety's Lounge I watched the movie I felt like it was a dream you know I doing the movie it felt like a dream and now it just it also feels very surreal like I'm going to wake up and this isn't really happening and then I'll be really pissed if you're dreaming that means I'm dreaming and that means I'm doing this in my sleep and that is a whole other level of multitasking now Pamela is self-deprecating about the praise she is receiving oh well you know having nothing to live up to is kind of a good position to be in you can surprise anybody even with a full sentence you're genius while it's not a reflection of I you yeah Pamela's filmography is not the most impressive uh she show is three credits C her cameo in the 2017 Baywatch reboot movie that didn't do very well I underestimated myself too and I think that I You' got to believe in yourself for others to believe in you and it's great to hear that Pamela is not going to just sit back and let people praise her for the next 6 months over this performance now it's here we go time like I'm really inspired to work and I feel like it's just beginning that's a great attitude to have at 57 and yes so there's no trailer for this movie there's just a couple Stills um but I mean yeah it sounds like she's great in this the reviews aren't a stellar for the film itself so I don't think this is going to turn into a major award season Contender but I mean if Pamela can get you know in that award season realm in some capacity it's going to be very cool to see but are you excited to see the last show girl join me and congratulating these folks on an amazing thank you
