THE FIRE BURNED MORE THAN 23,000 ACRES CLOSE TO 24,000 AT THIS POINT ONLY 5% CONTAINED CAL FIRE SAYS THERE'S AT LEAST 1700 FIREFIGHTERS ACTIVELY WORKING THE FIRE AND MORE FROM THE STATE ARE ON THEIR WAY THE FIRE HAS FORCED THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE TO EVACUATE LIKE THOSE LIVING IN THE MOUNTAIN COMMUNITIES, 36,000 STRUCTURES ARE THREATENED. GOVERNOR GAVIN NEWSOM HAS DECLARED A STATE OF EMERGENCY AND THE NATIONAL GUARD IS COMING HERE LATER TODAY WITHIN THE NEXT HOUR OR SO TO HELP WITH SECURITY FOR THE EVACUATION ORDERS WE'VE BEEN TALKING TO A LOT OF RESIDENTS. MANY ARE VERY EMOTIONAL AS ARE PACKING UP LEAVING THEIR HOME NOT SURE WHAT THE CONDITIONS WILL BE LIKE IF OR WHEN THEY RETURN HOME SO MANY ARE FOLLOWING THE ORDERS WHILE OTHERS ARE WAITING IT OUT.
