on guys it's Houston Sports Talk Back another the video to day and today the Cleveland Guardians have traded for pitcher Alex Cobb starting pitcher Alex Cobb who is a one-time Allstar and he is 36 years old and pretty much at the end of his career but still a really good starting pitcher for his age he has a Seven and Seven record this year pitching in 28 games of 28 starts with a 3 3.87 er uh he has pitched 151 Innings and in those 51 Innings he's given up 163 hits 69 runs 65 earned runs 19 home runs 37 walks with 131 strikeouts um he is a rental but still a good addition for the Cleveland Guardians they have improved their starting pitching with adding in Alex Cobb they've brought in a good bat like laye Thomas who will be an outfielder for them so I like the two additions they've made at the trade deadline the two main ones what are they giving up to get Alex Cobb they are giving up starting pitcher Prospect Jacob brahan uh who was a draft pick in the 2020 mo23 MLB draft in the 13th round and this year he has played in single a and rookie ball with a one and three record with a 2.70 era 12 games 12 starts 50 Innings pitch giving up 36 hits 20 runs 15 earned runs three home runs 18 walks 66 strikeouts let me know your thoughts on the trade for the Guardians in the comment section I I do like this trade for the Guardians I like the moves they've made at the trade deadline for a team that is who has one of the best records in the American League or maybe the best record in the American League still um they have made some good Edition so that I like um but let me know your thoughts in the comment section if you like what you see push the Subscribe button that's the video hope you guys enjoyed and peace out
