got that interception they they start getting confidence and the one thing I noticed about Arkansas we can't make adjustments to win the game we can make adjustments to lose the game but we can't make yards that we've ever had and that jaquin and Jackson was going to have three touchdowns under 50 yards I I wouldn't have asked for anything any different I mean why why would you bench the quarterback there for for Malachi Singleton like you're blaming the quarterback for what the problems are we need to bench special teams except for the punter the punter did good every other bit of the Special Teams whether it was field goal kicking whether it was kickoffs into the you know going out of bounds uh satania for the ones that he did feel didn't do anything with them it's not like he had any good Returns on there the Special Teams just looked terrible you know they they just didn't look good you know uh I mean look a loss is a loss there's still a number in the L column no matter what but there just this gut it's just something that feels different about how you lose the game like we did today like if we had started off way behind on the road early and then mounted this huge comeback just to fall short there at the end in overtime then people would be talking about it differently in that case like oh you know they they they came back in the second half and they you know and they they they showed all this gumption and everything but that loss would just feel different than the way that we dominate did Oklahoma State on the road today and then just couldn't make a field goal or or dropping a punt or kicking it out of bounds you know pulling a Reggie fish like that to to completely destroy the game they had not scored a single offensive touchdown before we mucked that punt that was a Difference Maker that pick six that meant almost nothing because we scored a touchdown right after that we answered that so that didn't really change much of the momentum it was what was happening the second half that was changing the momentum on it and and to me I I think Malachi Singleton is awesome I think he's great I am really looking forward to his career as a razor back but benching TN green to put him in is like when people when people would say to put Malik Hornsby in instead of you know instead of KJ I I mean it's it's like you're just wanting to see something different in that case is what you're wanting to do you're just wanting to see if something different happens but that doesn't necessarily mean that it's the right call now I mean don't get me wrong Malachi is is is better than he's better than Malik horns people what I'm saying is that when people were talking about that they were talking about wanting to see something different because KJ was [ __ ] was messing up trying to dive into the end zone against Texas A&M from the five yard line and pulling stuff like that like God put anybody else in that's not going to make those dumb decisions I don't think that that uh I I think T green really made bad decisions he might have had a couple of off throws and stuff but I don't think he was necessarily making bad decisions we were just screwing up and like not making you know not not helping them out not making the most of what we could whenever you know whenever we had these opportunities we stop them and then we muff a punt right we we drive down the field and then we miss a we miss a field goal and then they lose confidence in our kicker because our special teams is looking terrible that's just my take I I think that bench and Taylor green is like that's hey Jeff I'm explain I'm going explain something to you I'm I'm going to be quick that type of thinking is what got us to full full wins last year why you going to switch why you going to switch we lost to three points to Bama seven points to O Miss three points to LSU and four points to Mississippi State that's the reason we want to switch because we don't
