Countdown more RB goodness Dwayne we have a couple running backs where again if you are in those zero RB streets and you need a spot starter to start the year we got two pretty good ones in current Browns rb1 Jerome Ford and Panthers rb1 chuba hubard Ford looking good because we have Nick chub still on the pup list with that knee injury and a bit of a surprise Deontay Foreman was released leaving Pierre strong Jr as the pretty much only other running back we overly care about in Cleveland and then for trba hubber obviously Jonathan Brooks also on the pup list him and CH are going to miss at least the first four weeks of this season so thoughts on Ford versus hubard and where both of them are going to basically be ranking you know for you during the month of September number one I think this team probably adds another running back I mean because you put you know we know Nick CH missing the beginning of the Season yeah Cleveland sorry we know Nick chub's missing the beginning of the season um you you can't just go into the year uh with two guys they're probably going to want to have three um active on game days um so I'm thinking they're going to still add someone we'll see who it is is it going to be you know one of the other backups that got cut yesterday I mean obviously that's what they have to pick from but it could be like a pery situation having said all that I did move Jerome Ford into the same tier with chuba hubard as of yesterday I preferred chuba hubard very easily over Jerome Ford um just because we know once Nick chub's back Ian they're GNA give him the ball now they might still let Jerome Ford have some of the carries I think they will um but Nick chub's earned that like Nick chub has been such a good player like you know the the Browns like he's been loyal to them like he's taking contract Cuts like he's going to get the ball when he's back we don't know for sure as much as we love Jonathan Brooks and and we do and we're saying we want to be drafting Jonathan Brooks he doesn't have that he's not proven like that like so there would be a chance that chuba hubber could really just continue to force more of a time share and there's also a chance that chuba hubber is just playing well enough that you know Jonathan brookler are like we're just gonna kind of ease you in um so I I just feel like with Nick chub there's more likelihood like that you know they're just going to be like okay once he's back we really have to change Jerome Ford's role the other thing is I do like the browns offensive line uh we know the Carolina Panthers also upgraded theirs you had Damen Lewis you had Robert hunt over from the Miami Dolphins so they spent up to go you know beef up their interior of their offensive line uh Canalis has already been on the record saying hey I can't wait to show you guys how stubborn I am at running the football so we know it's going to be a big part of what they do as well but I do give the slight lean to forward I think bigger picture here though Ian is what you mentioned to start if you somehow start with a zero running back build or a hero running back build and you keep sitting there in the dead zone you're like I don't like these running backs and you keep piling on receivers you get an elite tight end you get a really good quarterback and now you get to you know round eight or nine and you start adding just upside guys maybe you Intro add in round eight you add Jonathan Brooks and in round nine you add jayen Wright and you know they may not sniff the field in week one but if they ever do they could win your league well now you're like what am I doing in week one this is your tier you just come grab one of these guys you come get chuba hubard you come get Ford so these are guys that you build your strategy around if you're going to need early season production because you wanted to take swings on upside at your running back two spot before you wanted to take these players so I I it's it's man it's really nice to have that kind of thing in your back pocket if you're playing in baseball I don't love them that much for down the stretch because I think there's a really good chance the other two players Nick chub as well as Jonathan Brooks are getting all the carries that you were really wishing you had to try to help you win the big prizes and hey Ford was helpful last year I mean had the rb5 finish in week 17 against the Jets he actually had four top 10 finishes on the season but I am with you Dwayne because right now it literally is just Ford and strong on the you know final roster for the Browns and very rare to see NFL teams only suit up two running backs on game day so maybe it could be yet another late you know August you know reunion with Juan Kareem hunt LED them with 11 carries inside the 5 yard last year Ford only had four such goal line carries Pierre strong Jr had two so with strong double digit touches in just one game last year six or fewer and all but three not expecting much Standalone value there again keep an eye out on the Browns the Chargers the Cowboys a couple of these back fields because it certainly doesn't seem like you know the overall running back Market is done figuring itself out but I know that's one of our conversation topics for tomorrow Dwayne going through again some of the biggest Battleground back fields to get to so make sure you guys tune back in for that one uh final notes on atuba look he was good last year again he actually had a 0. one9 rushing yards overexp expected per carry that was good for the 22 highest Mark right there at Devin single ter you know Gus Edwards Zack sharan a sort of backs but you know we do need this Panthers offense to take a bit of a leap forward this was the sixth worst offensive line in terms of rushing yards before contact per carry but luckily Dwayne we're not just saying oh you know Canalis is going to fix it they did throw $153 million in free agency out a pair of guards and dolphins Right Guard Robert hunt and Sear's left guard Damen Lewis so with chuba are we 28 or better in eight straight weeks to end the season did you see enough though joint in the preseason utilization with the starters to fully believe chuba is going to be featured because it is a new coaching staff and you know we do have my sanders there still who was also someone that people thought could be out of the picture well Canales he rode Rashad white who wasn't very efficient so I I feel like there's really a good chance that tube is going to be a 65% snap guy right of the game in week one now to your point it is a new coaching staff and last year the coaching staff soured on Miles Sanders despite the fact that they gave him a bunch of money well this this coaching staff is not attached to you know that News decision so they they could play Miles Sanders theoretically more than what we're anticipating I will say I think Sanders also becomes a late round pick if you were in a 20 round draft like 12 Team league he becomes another one of those names like what we just talked about a second ago that you could you know take and I honestly I'd probably take him over uh Emanuel Wilson like I would probably take miles Sanders over him uh you know tomato tomato maybe maybe I'm just Clinging On to like a few good highlights that we've seen in Miles Sanders career at this point but yeah I I do think that chuba is going to be in a really good spot coming out of week one
