I was certainly aware of the membranes when the membranes were were a thing and and then of course you know tracking you a bit here and there over the last 20 years has been really fascinating to see what I admire about you is that you have never in a sense sold out but you've made yourself available to the masses and you've brought the ethos from the past and you've married it squarely with your life experience and where you are today maybe you're just not capable do stuff Bally not capable of selling out I mean even with this book it's the same thing you know so it was going to be on Omnibus who were quite a big Publishers in the UK of music books to me it starts with the fall of Rome and you have to have the gothic cathedrals in Germany you have to have the the Romantic writers and other Gothic painters and all that you have to have all that in to set the scene but they didn't want any of that in they just wanted the band so I just paid the advance back and put out himself
