what are the expectations around Dylan Gabriel his first year in Eugene because listen he's he's there for a good time not a long time right like there there is one Mission ahead of him I believe in 2024 and for this team and not to be over dramatic here but I think it's national title or nothing for Dylan Gabriel in the ducks in 2024 you're saying JD Dan landing's third year Dylan Gabriel's first year at Oregon you just said it yourself like it's is it really national title or bust we'll talk about it right now but make sure you're subscribed right here to the on three YouTube channel baby it is week one of the college football season get fired up man we want y'all a part of this we had a lot of y'all Oregon fans join the party recently by being subscribed if you have not yet been subscribed would love to have y'all here all right love to have y'all here so going back to what I was saying a second ago is it really national title or bust better way to phrase that why I believe it's national title or bust if you're an Oregon fan is because you have everything that is required to get it done like the same reason why your parents or your grandmother whoever was hard on you in high school because you got a B cuz they knew you're capable of getting an a it's like Oregon man if they finish top three in the Big 10 yeah it's good it's a new year and the new conference like all that but you're capable of more what you're capable of on this roster I think determines your expectations if we're just going to be honest here so you've got the roster to make a real run at this thing and I think you have a quarterback that gives you the confidence you can make run at this thing because if you didn't have a quarterback at Oregon if you didn't have a Dylan Gabriel if you're playing someone that was unproven you still feel good about the roster you say yeah maybe this is one of those years where we can make a you know a good impression in the Big 10 but you're not thinking about the national title like you're thinking about it with Dylan Gabriel because you think you know what you have at quarterback all right Dan Lanning I think across the rest of this roster he's built it to make a run in 2024 like there's no weaknesses whether it be on the line of scrimmage whether it be on the defense whether it be the skill players to where you should feel like you're going to be outmatched in any football game Big 10 SEC Big 12 or otherwise you have everything you need and so for Dylan Gabriel what it's going to require for him to allow this team to achieve the success they want to achieve it's going to be um mostly upstairs for him because physically there is nothing within this offense whether him running the football whether him throwing the football they're going to ask him to do that he can't do nothing nothing that he is going to be required to do physically that he's not able to do or hasn't done before specifically for him it's going to be can you make the right decision and can you might make the right decision quickly like there's a reason that Oregon had one of the lowest sack rates in the country last year as an offense because B Nicks when he caught that football from the shotgun snap knew where he was going with it he was getting it out quick fast in a hurry to his Playmakers to go be special in space they have a lot of Playmakers to be special in space again in 2024 if Dylan Gabriel is able to be all the way synced up and be able to elevate this football team that's going to be the difference now notice what I just said elevating the football team elevating his team overall because for Oregon to win the Big 10 which is obviously a goal and to ultimately what I believe should be the ultimate goal to win the national championship and I think it is the ultimate goal in Eugene there's probably going to be 10 to 11 games where Oregon's just Superior like they suit up they don't give the football away multiple times and they're going to be in good shape they don't shoot themselves in the foot they're in good shape those other one to two games though the game against Ohio State and the game against Michigan you Circle right now where the roster Talent is going to be fairly comparable Ohio State You could argue has as good a roster as anyone else in college football so in those games what will it come down to if it's a stalemate on the line of scrimmage it's a stalemate on the perimeter or it's it's somehow a a you know pretty uh manageable Talent Gap overall there's not a there's not a whole lot to talk about there goes to the quarterbacks and so you pick Oregon over Ohio State in that game or you win that game if you're Oregan because of Dylan Gabriel and him being able to do more for you in the big moments than a will Howard and that's not me making a prediction right now or speaking down on will Howard I'm just saying that's what it would require if you want to ultimately achieve where you want to go same thing can be said for the college football playoff the quarterback has to be the differentiating factor in those spots and I believe he will be so I'm excited for this man Dylan Gabriel is's a big reason why he's at organ he's inviting the pressure he's inviting everything that comes with being the guy at Oregon he understands the roster he walked into he understands the head coach and his aspirations like it is he is very much so aware of what's expected and I don't know they would say it out loud but I do believe that it is national title or bust for our friends out there in Eugene and no pressure no diamonds and spoiler alert there is a lot of Di on those national title rings so we'll see what happens organ fans again make sure you're subscribe right here
