the self-proclaimed super mayor is also apparently a Super Fan she flew in nationally known R&B singer Kiki Wyatt to headline the taste of Thornton Township last month there were other performers plus daytime events for kids but given the fury over Tiffany henyard spending we were curious what the event cost WGN investigates obtained the bills through open records laws they show Kiki Wyatt was paid $30,000 for a 30-minute performance rapper Jay holiday made 20,000 for a half hour set other costs including comedians bounce houses staff and Equipment add 35,000 meaning this single day event cost South Suburban taxpayers more than $85,000 I was flabbergasted I was pissed off that's my money that's the people's money that was a flop it might have been a pro imely 65 to 70 people there we out here T keep raining but it's still going on right now they got the comedians up there to be clear henards predecessor also threw a taste of Thornton Township event but not on this scale see this all thoron Township and went to the event did you see this guy and did you know him is he a recognized celebrity I don't know $1,000 is pretty significant for a unknown name comedian usually they make about 250 for about an hour okay to crack some jokes but no Tiffany agreed to pay $1,000 for somebody that we don't even know and I'm saying we like I was there but come on now I'm putting myself in Thorton Township shoes why would I pay for unknown comedian um $1,000 an hour that that's really insane okay no negotiation skills at all because I would have negotiated that price now Tony scoffield he was paid $11,000 too of this is available seating they um was charged for [Laughter] chairs chairs it doesn't really say um but it was bleachers 240 seats mobile bleachers two units they paid 404 $ 4600 for this sanitation services that was $ 2150 the staging lighting the audio video uh stage stage Riser generator labor the people that put it up delivery um and must provide water restrooms and parking okay so that was 16,000 Kiki Wyatt now this is Kiki Wyatt this is what they're talking about Kiki Wy traveled across the nation while she was there and she made Thorton Township pay for it no we'll pay for your transportation there and back from the hotel and the day of maybe but you want to run around town for what what what what are we doing and you probably got other gigs no we're not paying for that we're just going to pay for you know the the the services that you rendered us but no uh the agreement was made on June 12th it's a outdoor venue you know they the duration for 40 minutes the full agreement deal was $30,000 they got 40 minutes for $30,000 for KiKi Riot I'm in the wrong industry I need to start singing I'm my album is dropping out tomorrow okay so that's that's Kiki y k hospitality and Tech Rider not for sure what the tech riter means they didn't put the travel accommodation none ground transportation yes one black Escalade or Suburban must be professional company ensured for ground transportation no personal staff friends or Personnel may serve as driver purchaser must submit company name blah blah blah um the initial payment you know this was her initial payment fee and then balance due on the 15th by wire and then she put her checking account information of course they blocked that out okay and this is a basic contract I I would think an artist will have it because you know I'm pretty sure they've been screwed a bunch of times but sound like Kiki Wyatt ain't getting screwed she's the one who's doing the screwing and I'm not saying Kiki Wyatt ain't worth the $330,000 but would I pay for it no no no other Kiki Wyatt technical this Hospitality writer she wants fruit trays and grapes vegetable tray Bree cheese keer crackers one large bag of plain potato chips Coke Zero five of them five bottles of water at hotel and on stage hot meal to be determined feeds up to six to seven people please discuss the agent with agent so this is why they paid all those driver fees now we have to go back to see how much driving she did but it sound like she had five rides or five or six rides and they charged her $90 a ride so I'm just $20,000 um two King hotel rooms for the five star only the price of which is included in the $20,000 fee uh yes they want SUV Cadillac Escalade for the aress only no per dam is needed and then they
