well guys it does seem that mountain high has burned down it's a sad loss I think a lot of us grew up going there it was a smaller Mountain but you know it was a small community of guys that just you know they enjoyed being able to go to the mountain in 30 minutes after work it was a really close drive for a lot of us but it does seem like it has burned down you can see the fire map is right here this is Mountain High right here uh I don't think this map is updated because we're going to look at the cameras in a second and you'll see that uh it it gets hot these trees are melting the the ground's completely on fire so they do have webcams you can see these do not seem updated but you can see all the smoke fire you can see that's a fire truck um but if you actually go to the live stream you can look at all their all their cameras are dead now because obviously they probably burned the Wi-Fi quit out so let's look at uh East Summit this was earlier today on 910 you know let let's actually go earlier in the day it was a beautiful day nothing happening you could see some smoke down there but the mountain seems fine but you know later in the in the day you could see the fire is getting close and that that smoke cloud is thick oh look at this this is where we start to see the Flames coming up and that is a very big hot fire and that will melt these trees in you know minutes and this this dry Shrubbery on the ground everywhere does not help that's what gets it to spread so easily and so fast see there's already fire going up to the lift and these are you know million dollar lifts so who knows what's going to happen happened with the mountain um I don't expect them to be open I think this fire would just melt all the electronics and the belts and all the rubbers you know even the chairs everything so probably bend the metal the ropes or not the ropes the uh the cables and everything look at that fire that's crazy really really big fire going on look at these Flames taller than the trees sad to see you know this this was a good mountain for a lot of us yeah you're not you're not stopping that fire this is only two times speed too you just see how that fire is really insane give props to the camera it does seem it's resisting this heat pretty good if safe to say we probably won't have any tree runs next uh next season so you know who knows if this is ever going to open back up because this is a big years and years of building these these lifts I have a a whole Resort like this so you could see um when the fire was coming I guess they decided to um turn the misters on thinking that would help um I don't think it did much here's a fire truck probably just making sure everybody's evacuated we'll see them turn the misters on here yeah that fire is huge this is where they hooked up all the hoses for the misters I don't know if these are the snow makers I think that's a snowmaker so I don't know these just look like they're misters the camera's cut out earlier in the day is a beautiful day you know had to see just small fires like this just come out of nowhere these ashes or these Embers jump and they ignite anything they can that smoke is crazy let's watch this this fire spread over this tree just see how powerful this fire is e the camera Co Cuts once again so here's playground cam we're all familiar with where this is let's see well that's the last view we'll see of that sign there's that fire truck we saw earlier and the camera Cuts so rest in peace Mountain High
