all right we're dealing with about 79° F probably closer to 77 3,322 mil on the odometer it is Wednesday September 11th um 2024 about 10:56 in the a.m. the restaurant is catering too so we're going to head off to delivery and this is kind of a Memorial Day to remember probably one of the worst things that's ever happened to our country I was very close to this when it happened I was just blocks away in New York studying acting at the time completely changed my life how I look at life today and how I'm appreciative of every minute I have and it was probably one of the most heroic and disastrous and just horrifying terrifying days it was a mixture of feelings the whole whole day um but I've talked about it before I don't talk about it a whole lot and uh we're going to head off to uh delivery thing so I think we should all pray just uh to remember uh the heroes that day and the people that were fallen and um September 11th it will always be remembered all right to delivery and we'll pass by the butterfly right up here on the wall I know my show can be funny at times but um I guess today is is uh well I'm just glad that um I listened to certain people that day CU I I was going to go up to the buildings and help and uh I was warned by a reporter that I think I owe my life to and I went back towards the new school University and I I I was warned properly because of information cuz an information age and I was able to to live another day which is why I'm here today okay all right we're going downtown with this one 1119 arrival 1118 arrival 7 Minutes 2.5 miles all right so we'll be going to the same building The Petroleum Club and things like that is um is which is basically that building right there and meeting probably like the lobby be picking it up so pretty standard drop off nothing major special boom have to get around this guy real quick there we go be a little early not too early but just a little bit all right so there some kind of revolving doors or something like that um I don't know they mentioned an escalator so we'll have to see looks like the memorial for G 11 [Music] probably they do have some sites there's one over by Shakespeare in the Park which is off of West 7th Street right across the bridge there's a memorial there and there's another one that has a a fireman Memorial not too far from 8th Avenue at a fire station but not a whole lot downtown I that I've seen that I know about there probably is some I just don't know about them yet um it would be nice to be able to have a little time I'll talk to Linda see if we can go buy the one by Shakespeare in the park kind of look at it maybe throw it in for the show oh they're from Michigan um throw it in show somehow we got to drop these off and and there's the building right there okay so something about Main Street yeah this this one actually Linda interviewed at this building for uh a job in their Cafe their security is pretty tight too there's a revolver Ving doors that she was talking about right there all right okay they got the pizza all right and we're headed back it was just easier for them to come down we didn't have a cart so they they do probably have carts there but uh they they were helpful enough just to come down and get get what they wanted for the for the lunch today very helpful people I don't know who they are or anything but anyway I mean I personally think we should probably have a 911 memorial probably like right here there's a cowboy hat and then there's the courthouse but this is like a little Courtyard uh that they have concerts and you know just a memorial plaque or something that talks about 9/11 nothing major but the really nice one that they have is right over there where the old Shakespeare and the park used to be in West 7th but you can see there's water fountains right here um but I think every city probably should have a memorial to remember 3,000 people that died suddenly they were just taken away uh without warning and when that happens it puts shock into you know imagine seeing like a building as great as that just falling out of midair you know that's not exactly what happened but at the time because of information and not knowing exactly what was happening CU it when when it first happened that that morning we thought it was an accident their Circle Theater right here and uh I was just studying acting and um terrorism was something that I didn't really think about a whole lot um my father was Vietnam and my grandfather was World War II so they were they were both in uh two different Wars in different different ways my father mostly taught during Vietnam and my grandfather actually um he was a different type there were two different types of veterans my my father um he was drafted to Vietnam so but he didn't have to fight in the jungle so he he was able to teach radar and special intelligence and then my my grandfather did fight on an aircraft carrier but didn't talk about it a whole lot um and since you know there wasn't a lot of War Stories in her family but at that day you know in New York City it was actually War war that was like uh what war felt like and it's very sudden it's very unfair it's confusing and it's emotional and it puts a great amount of fear in you I remember um after it happened we were all called in um to a class and discussed or plan fans as artists as actors as writers playwrights directors and actors all set among one another and I don't think there was a single person that said they were going to give up I certainly didn't I stayed throughout the year later I um I was suspended and I have to had had to leave because of um well just maybe it was a panic attack or something I really don't know exactly what what happened later on but um nobody nobody really said you know I'm going to quit doing what I'm doing not that I know of but there were people that did decide to go home um I think probably about maybe half the students probably felt pretty unsafe um but there were people that stayed I even stayed through the summer and stayed for the whole 3 years I only stayed for a year uh and then um I thought about returning but I don't know they moved campuses so they moved from the new school University to Pace University the whole program did so it it kind of changed the way I looked at it because I I really was interested in the new school University and they were housed there they were they were in that school system and there were other um you know schools within that system it was it's been there since the' 40s or or maybe even longer than that but then the place it went to was Pace University which is right there by Battery Park right there at Wall Street so it moved you know the program moved right where the initial attack was it's a weird thing to talk about but um I don't know New York is a state of mind and I would only probably return if accepted again you know if something like that happened I could finish it but it I don't know if I'd feel exactly safe because of what happened okay I got you some donuts where's Kitty he's in the window um they had um the Kachi I think she put some dnut holes in there too and um I don't know what she oh yeah there were two kachis and then she added some doughnut holes I got this minute made orange juice whoops and there's Linda there's Kitty there's Kitty right there Hello Kitty try not to show them in the window there we go yes you okay do you want some donuts yes here we go Kitty have a thought in the condo [Music] one this smelling candles over here don't stick your nose up in it okay so what is it okay I'm guessing Okay I'm guessing Okay careful try it again I don't know the forest forest pine o starts with a pee pine pine what Pine so Pine uh pine tree pine Hawaiian oh pineapple pineapple oh okay Li well Pine in yeah pineapple kind smells like Pine let me see I can't see it though man that almost knocked me off I'm surprised this is a candle I have a Walmart watch out for this it's called candle Cottage belly I'm so sorry about that [Music] all right the C130 Hercules also known as Fat Albert it's Blue Angel it's retired it's United States Marines and they use it for merrytime patrol gunships and a bunch of other stuff oh look at that water so pretty it's like we're like bir so pretty hi y'all welcome the pleas scbe show yay [Music] all right so we found some Coal's cash so we're going to look at undershirts did that bell ring three times say what ring three times that Bell yeah say 3:00 it was like 3 okay say 3 about 3 every time we have to go to Kohl's you need to make sure it's right on the hour and CO's is to CO's it's co mother please subscribe sh hi to this thing right here it's pretty funny oh okay J C Hall Ocean looks interesting Hagar isn't that a woman in the Bible okay so cp99 at CO's we're going to get go with this with the Coal's catch right here okay yeah you want to try real quick basically 20 bucks it's $9.99 right there you kind of see it right here $9.99 I'm getting a white and a black one so extra large just know for the future is it certain products like uh yeah there is certain products okay everything but all the athletic clo and then a couple of the dresses and then all right so I don't really remember like scanning the Kohl's cache but anyway you go in there you you scan it and then you press Cole's cash on it and basically you just walk out they give you the receipt so we got two- shirts for free 1788 or something like that $17 and just get two shirts and that's what we did though supposed to be 199 you got to put in your phone number though you used a coupon yeah there was there was a discount that it was supposed to be4 anyway there was a discount but anyway we got it so everything worked out okay so basically as as you're checking out of Coal's you have the Kohl's cash you put in your phone number it counts that then you can hit discount it'll discount the items then you use the Kohl's cash and you're good to go it it works out so it's like $17 and change and the items were I think 1080 each with with the coupon and brought it down to like $17 and change and then you $9.99 plus tax right and then the coupon brings it down below you use the two uh CO's things so basically we just went in and got two shirts and left and they gave you the receipt and your phone number in yep it's Kohl's CO's yeah possessiveness yeah Kohl's with a little s yeah well it's Kohl's with an apostrophe right it shows the possessiveness of Kohl's as in Kohl's with
